Toured this gym today. Good amount of equipment and variety. The machines are so close together it’s overwhelming. Looks disorganized and unkempt. There were unmarked broken machines. The dude who gave the tour kicked his dog in front of us. Overall not a fan and will not be coming back, I see how it can suit some people’s taste, especially for the price and discount choices. However, kicking dogs is always going to be a no and speaks to their standards.

The good and the bad. First I like the temp. i not too hot. Some people feel like they're working hard when sweat is dripping, not me. The music is good for me and the price is right and less than most places. It's usually not too busy when I go so good. The equipment is older but doesn't bother me too much. A rack of V bars or curl bars would be a nice addition.

Great old school gym. Everything you need , including equipment you haven’t seen in years. These new “don’t train too hard, no serious fitness minded people allowed , have some candy and enjoy your brisk walk “ facilities can’t hold a candle to the progress you will make at a serious gym.

Great gym for people that want to actually push them selves and may get a little loud (grunting) which you can’t do at planet fitness. Also free weights! The owner is there regularly which is cool. Big or small this gym will help you meet your goals

I've been going here for over a year and it is an awesome gym. What I like the most is the old-style gym environment. The staff here is very friendly and has helped me on many occasions. The gym also has a large amount of equipment, free weights, barbells, and anything you could need. My only small criticism is that they need at least one or two more squats racks.

Iron city keeps it simple, as every gym should. They let you pay as you go, no contract and affordable, the way it should be. They have all the standard equipment and more. My only complaint is that it can get a little congested at times due to the building size but it's worth it simply for the quick access off of 59.

Place is very dusty! Tops & crevices of every machine are dusty & dirty! The heater ducts that hang from rafters are very very dusty! The men's locker room is the size of a large bathroom👎The equipment is so close together, you basically can't use a machine that's next to someone else using their machine. Theres "dead" equipment sitting everywhere & it's hard to just get to the drinking fountain!
Luckily, I'll only be there a month, as im waiting for another gym to open.

Walked in with my family to get a tour and sign up and was ignored. Pretty frustrating since the girls behind the desk just looked at me, no welcome or anything.

The guy behind the desk seemed slammed, but since they decided not to even acknowledge me, I will go somewhere else. Shame too, since it seems like a decent place. Hopefully they treat others better than they did my family.

In my experience, it's a awesome gym, I just switched to this gym recently from getting screwed over with retro fitness. This place offers no contracts which is great! 25 a month & 20 for students. I recommend this gym to everyone who is dedicated to grow, get fit & major gains!!

No nonsense or BS that you find in a lot of places today, great atmosphere and employees. No shortage of free weights which is essential to get to the next level. For the price and location, this is a great little gym.

The management even pro rated my fee as I come home on vacation from time to time and need to use the gym.

No gimmicks or bells and whistles, but everything I need at a very affordable price in my neighborhood gym.

No recommended for those seeking status, looking for a date, or want foot massages and facials.

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND for those looking to get strong, push their limits, and enjoy like minded strongmen mentality.

Great gym. Has the important pieces of equipment: 2 squat racks, trapbar, heavy dumbells (130 lbs), battle ropes, foam roller, jump ropes, boxes to jump on, outdoor track, three sizes of tires, sledge hammer and the normal machines and treadmills with TVs. Owner is in every night - very approachable; Staff is friendly; Has showers; No contract - can pay month to month; Spinning and Zumba classes offered. Priced right.
