I never realized just how beneficial you could make an hour of working out before I started at Kat. The trainers here are incredible and are always listening to how you feel and modifying your workouts to fit you personally and to fit around any issues you may have. I have been going to KAT for the past 4 years and it has been an amazing experience. My priority has always been to be healthy, prevent injuries, get stronger, and maybe look stronger while I'm at it. KAT has allowed me to knock all of these goals out of the park. Before KAT, I didn't know what to do in a gym and often stuck with running on a treadmill. At KAT, they make personalized programs tailored to your individual fitness goals and abilities. I've learned and done tons of exercises with barbells, dumbbells, bands, bodyweight, etc. that work all the different muscles in the body. All of the trainers are exceptionally knowledgeable. They teach you the exercises and make sure you have the proper form and prevent injuries. They also push you when they know you can do more. And they're incredibly friendly, which makes working out a lot more fun. Over time, my fitness abilities have improved immensely. KAT's more personalized than traditional group fitness classes or open gyms, but not as expensive or intimidating as personal training. There's a maximum of 4 people per session, and it's very motivating and fun seeing other people also working towards their individual fitness goals. At the end of every session, we do a "burn out" together where we do several exercises together and it's a lot of fun. You truly feel like a part of a family/community with the other clients working out and the trainers. I can't recommend KAT enough!

Great place to train that offers personalized workouts based on your fitness level and goals. The workouts are different each session. Training takes place in a small group setting (up to 4 people per session) which allows the coaches (who have degrees in exercise science) to give individual instructions and make adjustments to your exercises if needed.

Love ,love ,love, working out were equipment is set up and ready for you to complete your exercises, that are designed by experienced trainers that take the time to explain exercises. The first trainers can also modify my workout around my injury’s. So no excuses to not show up.

KAT offers group strength training classes with knowledgeable and friendly instructors who design custom training plans based on your fitness, skill level, and goals. The training plans are well structured and challenging, but the trainers listen to your feedback and provide plenty of support and encouragement.
Group sizes are limited to 4-5 people, allowing the trainers to make sure you are performing each exercise effectively and safely. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great gym with no bs.

I am a new client at KAT, entering my third month of training with Nate and Autumn. I came from a few years break from formal fitness and with an old injury that had plateaued in its recovery, limiting range of motion and it was painful. I am thoroughly impressed with the initial training program developed for me. In this short time I'm not only stronger and more stable, I've experienced significant pain reduction and much improved mobility with the old injury. This is a testament to the knowledge and experience in developing training programs to meet the goals and needs of KAT clients, whether competitive athletes of any age or older people committed to aging well. I'm really enjoying the personal training in the small group context, the flexible class scheduling, the diverse clientele and the care of detail Nate and Autumn provide us. Working out at KAT is like having your own personal trainer but at a fraction of the usual price. Even better, there are often 2 trainers in the gym helping each other out during your workout which I think is far better than one.
Despite the good value, the workouts are smart.
What impresses me the most is how smart the workouts are. I know that may sound strange and it is hard for me to explain what I mean by smart but I will try.
You can do a lot of exercise that does not help you accomplish what you want. Even worse, you can do exercise that injures you or ages you or puts your body out of balance. The opposite of these things is what I would call smart. That’s what KAT offers. Smart workouts.
KAT workouts are effective, injury-preventing, interesting, well balanced, restorative. They are functional and borrow from the latest exercise knowledge. They understand muscle groups.
I have tried making my own workouts or using YouTube, but I have never been able to get anything close to how comprehensive and smart KAT is.
The quality of the workouts is the main reason I’m there. I have been going for 3 months. I have done 3 per week and 2 per week. The cost for me is over $200 per month for 2 workouts per week. And there is a 3 workouts per week package too.
Here are some practical things you might want to know.
KAT works with up to 4 people concurrently per trainer. This is perfect for me because I like a group feel and also most of a trainer’s time when you have 1 on 1 is just standing there waiting or counting reps anyway.
I have never had to wait more than 5 seconds to get individual attention when I’m ready for my next thing. I usually have 2 other people in they gym when I work out. The balance of women and men, old and young is great. It’s also a melting pot with people from all backgrounds.
They have an efficient program for tracking and planning so you don’t have to do anything but show up and follow.
There is an online portal which you can use to reserve spaces a few weeks ahead. It simple to use on computer or phone and gives you the information you need.
I have worked with Nate and Autumn. Both are reliable, nice, smart and helpful. They let you bring your own attitude to the workout and go with it. Friendly, supportive and never pushy.
The gym shares space with a martial arts dojo. The music is not too loud. It’s often classic rock or rap and I’m good with it.
When I became ill and when I had to take a break due to work, I emailed KAT and they quickly adjusted my payment plan to my situation which was really nice.
I think KAT is an excellent choice for someone who wants to be in better shape, especially for injury prevention, better performance at sports or work, better body function, pregnancy, strength-building and energy-boosting.
Personally, I have had great results. I’m stronger everywhere. I’m playing sports better. My previous injuries have faded. I have good energy levels. I look forward to workouts.

The gym has never been a place I felt comfortable and confident in; never had weight training, never participated in athletics, I’m a music guy. Time and time again my aspirations of getting into fitness came and went with no action to show for it. That is, until, I found KAT. My life is forever changed in the most incredible ways, and now I absolutely LOOK FORWARD to my sessions each and every week. Is the best part the outstanding quality of training and the results you’ll see? Well, sure. But I’d argue that it’s the people. The community at KAT is warm, welcoming, positive, a fantastic group of people from top to bottom. I train with Nate, and he has absolutely made my experience every bit of what I hoped this journey would be when I first set out for it. I, like many others, was terrified to leave my comfort zone and start a workout routine. I could not have come into a more welcoming and fun environment like I have with KAT.
The workouts and programs are designed by professionals with my goals and my body’s strengths/limitations in mind.
Trainers are very considerate of how your body is feeling day to day and will adjust workouts based on that. Nate is so knowledgeable about what he does, one of my favorite things about working with him is he will always know a stretch for me to do to alleviate any tightness or pain a certain area of my body is having that day.
KAT has improved my strength, mobility, and overall knowledge about my body and how it works. It’s changed my life and I highly recommend making the jump out of your comfort zone!

I’ve been strength training at KAT for several years now. I highly recommend giving them a try. For a very reasonable price, they work with you to create a customizable and flexible work out plan based on your ability and your goals with a willingness to change things up if necessary. You get a lot of personal attention – it frequently feels like you have your own personal trainer. The trainers are knowledgeable, encouraging, good listeners, and very fun. The clientele is very diverse in terms of age, gender, ability and ethnicity which I greatly appreciate. Your program will hit many different muscle groups using a variety of exercises so it’s really hard to get into a rut. It’s a fun and relaxed atmosphere where everyone is welcome. I am 51 with two young kids, I credit my ability to keep up with them and to maintain an active lifestyle to the work I put in at KAT.

I have never hated something and been so obsessed with it in my life. I came to KAT looking to move in general with more guidance than what keyboard cowboys on the internet could give me, and what I have received is so much more.
The staff is well educated and always have your safety in mind. They are willing to push you but listen to what you have to say and legitimate concerns you have about any training you are doing. It is a delight to be a client at KAT.
On a more personal note, without KAT I would have never been introduced to powerlifting and be participating in a sport I enjoy as an adult. No matter what your goals are, sport or no sport, they will adapt their training and help you meet your personal goals.

When I first started at KAT a month ago, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. As primarily an endurance athlete who frequently runs long distances, I wanted to incorporate more strength into my workouts as well as interval training. I love this place. Adam and Brandon are great coaches amazing at what they do. You need to prepare yourself for a competition or just want to make a life style change they know what to do for you.
I use to do CrossFit and loved it I am sure I would still enjoy it today, but since I have been working out at KAT I have found myself gaining a lot more in strength and ability to lift better. With workouts being in a small group setting it makes it that much easier for the coaches to be able to help you out with form and even push you more.

I have always thought I worked out "hard," but since training with Adam and Brandon, it was clear that I could push myself to a higher potential. Workouts are efficient and effective. I used to train on my own at a traditional/commercial gym almost every day, 2-hrs each time.
