The entire team at the West Bloomfield location are dedicated to not just getting to know you, but helping you reach your goals. Whether it is sports-related or just needing more mobility to handle every day tasks, they’ll work as a team to give you the best advice. Their guidance and encouragement are priceless.
I always have questions and they are always open to discussion—from exercises to diet and how to help find a balance with Life. Since life can be a rollercoaster, the combination of the tailored exercise programs with the nutrition tips are what make them stand out.

I worked with Ryan (the owner) through a virtual personal training and lifestyle coaching program, and it was awesome. Even though I wasn’t in West Bloomfield, the experience felt super personalized and motivating. Ryan really takes the time to understand your goals and build a plan that works for you.

Best training facility you’ll find in Metro Detroit! Exceptionally knowledgeable coaches that make sure you’re comfortable as well as motivated!
Not just somewhere to train and workout but you couldn’t ask for a better environment or community to be a part of!

Finally found it!
Life gets busy, and it’s not always easy to prioritize yourself, but finding a place that helps you do just that makes all the difference. I had been searching for the best way to build strength, improve my running, and stay consistent with my health, even during the busiest times.
I’ve worked with trainers before, but only short term and mostly to “learn a few moves.” When I discovered Lift Training, I honestly didn’t know what to expect from their personal training, but it has exceeded my expectations!
My training plan was customized just for me, and as I’ve gotten stronger, my program has been updated to keep me moving forward. My goals are always part of the plan, and that personal attention has made a huge difference .
The owners genuinely care about your experience, and it shows!

Kelly and LIFT have been a big help to me. I generally don't write reviews, but I have to spread the word about this place and everyone involved. Before I met Kelly, I was intimidated by places like this since my normal routine would be to work out on the hamster wheel or other cardio machines in the gym. As my trainer for the past five months, Kelly has been nothing short of exceptional. Besides being dedicated to implementing a great program, she's also fun and keeps things interesting. Thanks to her, I'm now doing movements and pushing weight limits I never thought possible. Physically, I'm stronger, and I definitely see improvements in my tone and overall look, which is what I wanted. No matter what your level of fitness is, you'll gain a lot from going to LIFT. Great people, great place.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Kelly during my time at LIFT. She is an incredibly talented coach with a science-based approach applied to 1-hour training that I absolutely loved. My personal training was in-person for several months, which transitioned to hybrid per my request for several more months. The communication, structure, and overall experience I had with Kelly was stellar, and I'd happily recommend her services along with LIFT to anyone looking for training.

LIFT is a special place to me. It’s not your ordinary big box style gym. The focus is on you when you’re in attendance. I live a certain lifestyle (L in LIFT) that always has me on the go. The LIFT family holds me accountable to ensure I’m staying on track and hitting the goals I have been working so hard to accomplish. I attend private sessions 5x a week. The owners Jess and David have become friends, rather than just my trainers. Everyone has a smiling face, positive energy, and we all root and push each other to hit goals. I make a 30 minute drive daily, it’s that good. Let’s not to forget to mention, the technology in the gym is state of the art and the sound system rumbles with up beat music to keep you in the vibe. I highly recommend you give it a shot, at the least to meet Jess and David.

I've been going to LIFT Training for 2 years now and I can't say enough good things about it. Initially I started there looking for a group workout class that I enjoy, but LIFT has provided so much more than that. I've had some low back pain that has limited my movements and made me tentative about certain exercises; but I've been doing personal training with David for the past several months and my back feel great. I can now do heavy deadlifts and back squats with no pain and no worry about injury and this has translated into easy mobility outside the gym. I can hop around with my pup and scramble up rocks while hiking and have no pain. I've also worked with Jess on nutrition guidance and was able to lose fat while gaining muscle and toning up all over. And the group classes I originally signed up for are terrific. Classes max out at 8 people, often less, so the coaches can work with each person for any modifications and feedback on form. Each class has a warm-up specific to that day's strength and metcon workout and a focused pre-strength training session to make sure we all have good form nailed before we start the strength section. We've got a mix of all ages at LIFT and everyone is really friendly and supportive - I really do look forward to working out with my fitfam. And my actual fam, my son and husband are members too. I can't recommend it more highly.

This place is hand down awesome. Very encouraging Coaches, who push you to do more then you think you can do. I have learned so much in my time here about fitness, health, nutrition, rest, etc.. they are very knowledgeable and continually find ways to educate the community. There is no pressure to be a perfect fitness person here, all level are welcome and they will help you improve no matter where you start. They definitely walk the talk, they jump right in, whether is coming to workouts when they are not coaching or participating in a challenge. Its nice to know they understand and are not asking you to do something they don't already do themselves. Overall its a great environment, great Coaches, great workouts and fun challenges. I would highly recommend!

I was a big box gym go-er for a long time...limited results. I found Trvfit in West Bloomfield and highly recommend this fitness community. I was never one to try a class-based gym because my work schedule does not allow patterned work hours. Trvfit, however, provides results and a community that you cannot replicate at any other gym. Your motivation changes as you want to be apart of something while also becoming healthier/stronger. It becomes a priority to make the classes because of the community. You can see the results of the individuals around you and in yourself. The small business owners are incredible and truly cater to the needs of their members. If you enjoy passionate entrepreneurs always looking for a way to make something better, you will enjoy being apart of this community. Give it a try.

Not only do the coaches motivate, but they’re constantly watching to offer tips and/or make sure that the correct form is being used. I love to lift, but I would get bored at my old gym because I would just do the same workout every time. Here, I have been to 9 class sessions and haven’t had a repeat workout yet! I feel so much stronger in just 2 weeks.
