We came to MCC last year and have had a great experience! My daughter has improved in her skills and tumbling with expert and safe coaching. But most importantly, her self esteem and confidence has soared! Thank you MCC!

My oldest has been with MCC since 2020 and has grown in so many ways. She has had a five year mental block, which had been heartbreaking for her. Her coaches have been nothing but supportive and have been properly trained with how to support athletes through blocks. I could not be more thankful. This year, we focused primarily on tumbling, since she was very secure in level 4 stunting. The coaches loved and supported her properly the entire season and now she is also secure in tumbling: I could not be happier and more thankful.
My younger daughter, who has been a competitive gymnast her entire life, also joined the MCC family this year and I have NEVER seen her so happy and confident in her entire life. It has been an amazing transition and opportunity for her.
The can’t talk enough about the love and support MCC provides my daughters. I also want to emphasize the amazing families we have at MCC. There is NO DRAMA and my
kids have 100 moms who love and support them. It’s amazing.
I would NEVER switch gyms. I drive an hour to MCC and there is another local gym 7 minutes from my home. MCC focuses on technique, which other gyms do not. Proper technique = safety and success. I’m all for it! I’d rather keep my kids safe at MCC than save on gas money at a very close local gym. That speaks for itself.
We LOVE MCC!

Absolutely incredible gym, my daughter absolutely loves her coaches and there's no place she'd rather be than training and competing with her friends, she's gained confidence and discipline in her time here as well as finding amazing role models and a truly positive and proud cheer family.

This place is not welcoming and there is absolutely no communication.
I signed my daughter up for a beginner tumbling class. The first turn off was when we accidentally showed up for the first class on the wrong date. This was my mistake, it said the session started in a specific date, which was not a Wednesday and the class is on Wednesdays, so I came the Wednesday of that week but the first class was the actually the Wednesday of the following week. When we got there it looked closed so i had my daughter go check if anyone was inside. The door was locked but eventually a woman came out and looked at my daughter like she had 3 eyes. I stepped out and explained we were there for the classes and she rudely stated, “I don’t have any classes today.” There was no attempt to help me figure out where I had errored.
When we arrived next week on the correct day, I walked my daughter inside and explained that it was her first day. A different woman said “okay she can just wait over there” and pointed to a general area. She did introduce herself and said “I think I teach that class.” I stood for a second and then she said “when class is over she’ll come out that door.” So my belief was that they didn’t want parents inside in the way or they didn’t have space. I understand this, but I was pretty much dropping my daughter off and sitting outside for an hour and then she came out. I have no clue what she did in there. And that wouldn’t be an issue if there was some sort of communication from or chance to interact with the instructors to gauge how she was doing or if the class was even a good fit. I’m sure they do great work there but it wasn’t a good fit for us as beginners. So I enrolled my daughter somewhere else.
The final issue came when I did drop my daughter from the class. I followed the policy and sent a letter well in advance that she would no longer be in the class. However, we are continuing to be charged. I’ve called multiple times and emailed again with no response. I assume this is a administrative oversight ,and while it’s not a huge amount of money, it’s still poor business practice.

Great place but all the construction causes a very long and annoying process just to get to the place. So make sure you give yourself enough time to sit in traffic before even waiting longer just to pull in!

We love Motor City Cheer, this place is more than a gym, it's a culture! Coaches are amazing, the girls are so supportive of each other! There us no place for gelousy, envy, bullying. All the girls help each other, cheer on each other, no matter age or team. Loooove it!

My daughter joined Motor City last season and I can honestly say I’ve never seen her so happy. She’s doing what she loves in an amazing environment! The coaches are phenomenal and positively encourage the athletes to always strive for their best. My daughter has grown so much in skill and confidence, and she is always excited to take the almost hour long drive to her second home….the drive is totally worth it, btw😀). This gym is one big happy happy and I’m so thankful that my daughter found her “people,” as she puts it. Thank you, MCC💛🖤
