I love this gym! Small enough that it fosters a community atmosphere without being overly crowded most days. Nice, modern equipment (Not every fancy new gadget, but a lot of quality staples).
I rated 4/5 because, honestly, the new kids working there just aren't as warm and cheerful as Gabriel was. Some of that might be age or professional development though, so there's hope!
I believe they clean in the mornings and evenings and you can tell 😊👍🏼 The place feels very clean! I even noticed they scrubbed the drinking fountain drain the other day.
The sauna is the bomb.com! It is truly the center of the gym's community and really opens communication between people who might otherwise do their workout and leave without ever connecting.
1 suggestion would be to make the spray bottle cloths a brighter color, so they're easier to spot.

The classes are incredible! I have tried almost all of them. Each instructor is friendly, knowledgeable about their practice, good at motivating others, and always runs a class of no-judgment! I have been taking 3 or more classes a week since May, and it has changed my life. I have more energy, and my wardrobe looks so much better on me. Thank you, Newaygo Fitness!

I have been going here for like 4 years now and can’t believe I have never done a review!! I love this gym! I had been to several other gyms in my life and this one is just different from the staff to the people who actually go here to workout it makes all the difference! Love this facility, they are always adding new machines and making it more comfortable! They have fun classes and a sauna! The people are so friendly and help you learn how to use the machines since I was a beginner and have great trainers like Darik. I recently had a few surgeries and when I called they delayed my subscription to focus on recovery. After everything I was looking forward to getting back into the gym and got transferred far away for work and was bummed I couldn’t visit the facility with moving. I was so sad to leave but the owner Luke helped me settle things. I will become a member again if I ever move back! Thank you So Much. They deserve more than 5 stars!

I love Newaygo Fitness Club! All workers are so friendly and helpful! I attend Jackie’s Strength in Numbers class. Jackie does a GREAT job kicking our butts! In her class she makes sure to make sure we are doing the exercises correctly. Since there are all levels of people in her class she makes sure to demonstrate different ways to do an exercise dependent on your ability. I also love that there is something at Newaygo Fitness for EVERYONE!!

To be honest I wasn't sure how I felt about going to a gym. I knew I wanted to make a change mentally and physically, but I've never been to a gym. I walked in and was greeted by smiles. Everyone there is so nice and they want to help you better yourself. They make you excited to begin your journey to become healthier. I'd definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Great equipment and Best support from staff you can have/admire. Tons of energy and kindness from them. Even if you don't have a personal trainer they are willing to help guide and assist you whenever you have a question. Love the chalk board motivational writing and overall atmosphere this place has. Highly recommend to anyone local and wanting to join a great gym. After hours are available with a 24/7 access card that's at a great price. I absolutely love the showers because after work I need one and before a workout I can be shower and clean. The owner is continuously making improvements and does upkeep to the gym, doing a great job. I've known this place over the last few years and the new owner that has taken over has greatly improved the Newaygo County fitness club. It was great before and it's even better. I don't work at this gym, I simply love it!!!!!!!?

I just finished a year there while in the midst of constructing a home gym. I've been to many gyms and was a greater GR YMCA member for years.

The staff at NFC is knowledgeable and rather friendly. They offer as much, or as little support, as you want. I most appreciated the 24/7 access and generally worked out later at night.

NFC has a wide variety of free weights, machines, cardio stuff, cross fit stuff, rooms, and flooring surfaces to get any workout you can dream of done.

The facility is cared for and is updated regularly. With the completion of my home gym, I'm now a former member. As with all my reviews I have received nothing in return for my review.. I simply appreciate the reviews left by others as I google my way around the world and feel a small duty to pay the favor back.

This gym is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a gym! The staff is helpful and ACTUALLY listens! It’s not just a bunch of jocks walking around, the people are real and want to see you succeed. There are workouts posted in the gym, which is very helpful. The gym is clean and has a great turf room. They offer a lot of classes too. I wish I lived closer because after checking this place out a few times, this is ideal for people that want a laid back, effective, clean, and wholesome gym experience.

Joined on the Silver & Fit plan a few months ago. The staff are friendly & help to keep you motivated. There are plenty of free weights and a good variety of machines, so there is always something available to work up a sweat and help you reach your goal. Love the sauna. There is a variety of classes, just started the low impact and yoga with Karla. From us Baby Boomers to the powerlifters all are friendly and supportive. With 24 hour access I can workout as my schedule allows. I wish I would have joined sooner, I feel so much better after a good workout.

Hands down the best gym in the area. The staff is extremely friendly (they greet you by name) & knowledgeable, always willing to stop what they're doing and help show you something if you're unsure. They genuinely care about each member's fitness and health journey and that shines through. They offer a wide variety of classes (TRX, bootcamp, spinning, yoga, mobility, Mommy & Me, pound fitness + more), a sauna & personalized training. They're constantly improving and expanding based on customer feedback.

Love it!!! The guys have done a great job cleaning it up and remodeling. Also, they have added quite a bit of new equipment. I have gone to just two of the classes they offer and was impressed. You can tell this gym is their passion. Newaygo needed this!
