My daughter has been dancing at this studio since it opened, and it is A+ on every level. The staff is dedicated, talented, and overall amazing. The quality of the instruction is top-notch, and the recitals are so professional! I highly recommend the Birmingham or Southfield location. Your child will be well cared for, have fun and learn dance as well as build character and self confidence. It's the best dance studio in town!

My son has been taking classes for 6 years. He loves it! He started in the boys only hip hop with Ms. Mary. She is fantastic and the studio manager. Now he takes coed hip hop with Ms. Heidi. He is currently in-person but even when remote last year he looked forward to that part of his week. They to a great job in-person and virtual.

My older daughter has been going to NSB for 5 years now, and my younger one started this year. I’ve always been impressed with the way Miss Amy and her team run the studio - very professional and well-organized, and my girls love their classes. But I’m even more impressed with the way they’ve handled the COVID challenges. They switched to virtual classes last year, which worked surprisingly well, and worked really hard to pull off an outdoor/socially distant recital. I love that my daughters are learning dance - and so much more - from a team that’s modeling grace and determination in the face of adversity.

Our daughter has been dancing at this studio for five years. She is now 10 years old and on the competitive dance team. She dances five days a week and is excited to go each time. Next Step Broadway is like her 2nd home! The teachers, staff and other dancers are her community and she thrives here. NSB took such great measures to keep dance going during the pandemic of 2020 and continue with safe practices to ensure the studio stays open. We love Next Step Broadway!

Rhona has a great advantage of seeing the dance world from many sides. Rhona trained as a dancer for many years and although her life took her off the stage to the corporate world her training as a dancer has shaped who she is. All of the Dance City kids are encouraged to find the love of dance. Rhona also played the part of "Dance Mom" to her daughter though baby ballet on to the competition stage. Rhona's experience in both the corporate world and her passion for dance shine through in the organization and fun of this studio. Mary her "right hand girl" keeps everyone organized and always greets you with a smile

Dance City is a great dance studio. My daughters take tap, jazz, musical theatre, acro and hip hop. They have had different teachers for each of those classes and have loved them all! The teachers are positive, fun, encouraging and motivating.
