A bunch of kids teaching kids, which might be ok if they were invested and remotely interested in really teaching the kids, but this is not much more than a cart-wheel social hour...waste of money. Too many kids per teacher also.

Great coaches, owner is extremely nice and professional. My daughter switched from another gym in the area and couldnβt be happier.

Just had our grandaughters 10 birthday party her today. Thought it was a decent place for a party however upon entering the venue it smelled so bad of B.O. we could hardly stand to stay there. Tonight a nasty note was sent to the parents telling them the kids and mother's was so nasty and rude with them that one of the workers cried. They chose a game on the reservation form and never would play that with the kids. Had 25 kid of which 24 played. Said kids were snuck in....not true! Paid $110.00 in advance then another $70.00 today and then they said they made an error and had to pay $20.00 more. 200.00 for 2 hrs. And then told they may never have a party there again because of the above. I never heard or witnessed any of the above behavior! If there had actually been a problem it should have been handled in person. I and others will not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!! π‘ππ£

I love this gym and I practice there myself. My only suggestion is more strict coaches.

A great gymnastics place with great and caring staff! They have classes for girls of all skill levels, and a few boys levels as well. They do sessions by 8 weeks, 7 weeks if it falls on a holiday. If you miss a class, they allow makeups into the next 8 week session or you can always use one at open gym which are 12-2 every Saturday! At open gyms they have several coaches available to help out, but it's less structured than a class so that the kids can play or develop tricks at their own pace! Very reasonably priced too!

My kids have been to other gyms in the area for birthday parties and I always left disgusted. The first thing I noticed about Northstar is how CLEAN it is. They are always updating one thing or another. The staff is wonderful as well and ALWAYS smiling. My daughter is typically very shy and she came right out of her shell there.
Tim (I think he's the owner) is always there, very friendly, and you can tell he genuinely loves teaching kids. Quite a few of my daughter's friends go there on different days and all really love Northstar. Highly recommended!!

Early 2013 I scheduled a class after first discovering the other location of this gym had closed - unsure of this locations longevity. I scheduled a simple class anyway for a toddler. One day was horrible winter road conditions, school delays and closings. I had a 45 min. long drive one way to the scheduled class only to find the doors locked! No one answering the phone. Walk not cleared out. My daughter asking, "Why aren't we going in? Can I play today?" Finally someone answered the call and I was told the gymnastic teacher was sick the night before and they cancelled. I asked why they don't CALL to notify people especially when there were only 6 people in the class and our contact info was provided - how hard is it to make 6 calls? Do they have any professionalism or responsibility? The lady was stupidly stating she did call and spoke to everyone to cancel the class and she was feeling attacked by me asking! I finally got home and checked my phone, no message and no call was ever made to my home or cell. I wanted a refund for just that day and gas money for my headache. I had to talk to the owner - Timothy J. Chesla, who broke the contract by not providing the service. Really how hard is it to have ANYONE there to safely let 3-4 year olds run around? He said so stupidly that scheduling a class was NOT A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE A SERVICE. Does this man know nothing about business and service agreements? He said I was the one causing a problem and told me that if I show up to the next class he would call the police. Unbelievable. Find a professional agency anywhere else.
