About the Club

After almost 30 years in the industry, our goal at Olympia Gymnastics Academy is: To inspire greatness in our athletes. Our coaches have been blessed to witness hundreds of athletes coming to truly believe in themselves. That lightbulb moment inspires Olympia’s coaching staff every day.

The legacy of Olympia Gymnastics begins in 1995 and includes over 50 NCAA gymnasts, two level 10 Team State Championships, many individual National Champions, and the over 10,000 aspiring souls from Parent-n-Tot, Preschool, Recreation, and Tumblers who have walked through our front doors. We are measured more by our heart growth than by trophies.

This gym has been a huge disappointment. In three months, my 8-year-old has received virtually zero coaching. Her skills haven’t improved at all because the coaches barely interact with the kids.

Most of the “instruction” is coaches pacing around, staring at the floor, or standing in groups talking. They still carry clipboards rating skills they haven’t taught, which is honestly absurd.

I’m 40 minutes into her current class as I write this, and she just got her first moment of attention. We tried switching days—same behavior from multiple instructors.

If you want actual coaching, look elsewhere.
We won’t be staying..

We love Olympia! It is my 3-year old daughter’s favorite activity and the coaches and staff are amazing. My daughter is very shy, but they have worked with her to make her feel so comfortable and confident. Sydney and Lexi are so amazing with her and she loves to practice when we’re at home!

I'm extremely disappointed with the overall lack of communication at Olympia. Despite multiple requests to speak with my daughter's coaches about how to support her growth and help her advance, I’ve received little to no feedback—often leaving me wondering if the coaches even know who she is. The program feels very hands-off, with minimal interaction or engagement from the coaching staff. It’s difficult to see how the athletes are expected to improve when the coaches rarely offer guidance, instruction, or encouragement.

I've tried switching time slots in hopes of finding a better fit for her, but the experience remains the same. She constantly feels unchallenged and is frequently grouped with much younger kids whose skill levels are significantly below hers. This not only affects her motivation but also her progress.

I've also asked several times for my daughter to be assessed so she can be placed appropriately, especially since it’s been quite a while since her last evaluation. Each time, I’m told there's no clear answer on when that will happen.

This lack of organization and proactive coaching is disheartening—especially for a child who is eager to grow and be pushed to the next level.

Disappointed

We had high hopes for Olympia Gymnastics, especially since our 4-year-old was excited to continue for a second month. Unfortunately, we decided to cancel due to our experience. It was very disappointing to see that the young instructors spent more time chatting with each other than engaging with or helping the kids. There was a noticeable lack of structure, discipline, and motivation in the team. It felt more like a social gathering for the staff than a learning environment for the children.

I’ll definitely be trying another location. I truly hope there will be improvements here, especially since I chose this place based on good reviews. I’m sharing my honest experience in hopes that it helps other parents make an informed decision.

Olympia has been an institution for our family since the day it opened. My wife was a competitive gymnast here as a youth and my daughter has been attending and competing since she was 18 months old. Olympia creates a healthy atmosphere for young people - especially young athletes - to learn about about the steps to success. Through happiness, health, and love, Olympia Gymnastics Academy dares you to find what Amazing Awaits.

I started like two montages ago and it was really nice there all the teachers were so nice to me and the other kids.if you want to do gymnastics you should probably go to Olympia gymnastics academy.they have the best of the best service there.but the only thing I don’t like about Olympia gymnastics academy is that some of the kids are bully’s there and they don’t stop the bullying happening there. It is still a really nice place you should go there.

Great place! They just got their lobby remodeled, and it looks phenomenal. The staff is great, very talented and good at working with kids. The variety of classes serve a wide range of skill sets for both boys and girls.

My granddaughter attended her first class last night and truly lived every minute of it. She has a low skill level but the coach’s were so incredibly kind and helpful the entire hour. She talked about it all the way home and said she wanted to do this until she’s 18, she’s 7😊 I highly recommended Olympia!

Great academy. They offer classes for boys and girls, and have multiple levels and gives options for the kids that wish to advance and be part of a competitive level. They make gymnastics fun for the recreational levels and are ve tu profesional on the teams classes.
High level equipment and good rules have been applied now after COVID 19. They clean equipment between classes.
My daughter has been attending this school for over 2 years now and we are glad to see it open.

I had a good experience taking my kids here after leaving another place. The coach was nice and was able to communicate with me when I asked him how my boys were doing and it there were any problems. My only complaint, and it's not that big of an issue, is that my younger son is smaller that most of the other kids and couldn't always reach the bars in the activity they were doing and there weren't enough staff to help him or it would take a while. And on the last day of the season he punished the kids by not letting them finish their day (as they always do) in the ball pit. He told them they were misbehaving. I am sitting on the other side of the glass so I can't say either way, what I can say is from what I could see, they didn't seem like they were misbehaving, but no judgement on that since I couldn't hear them in the gym.
Will be signing my kids up again.
Oh and they don't charge a registration fee which is really helpful and their prices are reasonable.
