I’ve been here only twice so far for two beginners belly dancing class, but this second time I went, I was struggling with hip pain due to chronic illness, and Kelly pulled me aside and did some reiki on me so I could get through the rest of the class. My hip pain is gone! It hasn’t been completely gone in years! With the medical system failing me a million times over, coming here has kickstarted the healing process for my body and for my soul. She even recommended a doctor I could go see to help me out in the long term! Thank you so much Kelly for what you do 💜😊

Update 1/2023: I've been coming to classes for 5 months now. This is my new tribe! If you are on the fence, just do it. Get out of your head and make plans to be there. It's such a fantastic group of ladies. I am learning new skills. My balance is improved. I'm toning literally every part of my body and working areas that this 40-something body had long forgotten about. I even have that cut down the side of my thigh that I haven't had since high school cheer and track. 🫣🤭

I can't say enough positive things about this studio. Kelly (the owner and head instructor) is a fantastic teacher. You can feel her warmth and support through the phone, from the very first time you call the studio. She has years of dance experience and really breaks the steps down, making them comprehensive for even the newest of dancers. (And THIS girl NEVER took a dance class EVER in her life before this) 😆
Plan to attend several classes as you can't learn everything in one session (and it honestly takes a few for certain things to click if you are brand new).
Classes are challenging, laid back, and fun. The group is friendly and supportive regardless of size, shape, experience level, or any other thing that might make you think twice about joining. 😉 You will feel welcomed and supported from the very first time you step foot in a class here. Show up in comfy, loose clothing. Leave your shoes at the door. Feel free to be barefoot or wear socks. Come for a belly dance class, stay longer for yoga.
Come as you are and enjoy a fun way to challenge yourself and learn a new dance. 💃
Parking is in the back. The lot has lighting after dark. The studio is on the second floor but it's not difficult to find. I recommend showing up a few minutes early to put your stuff away and grab a spot.

I love this studio! Kelly is my belly dancing instructor and she's positive, knowledgeable and I always leave feeling great. There are many classes offered here - different forms of dance and exercise - which I look forward to trying as well. I definitely recommend trying a class here!
