I’ve known Jon personally for a long time and have watched him build Phyx Performance into the top notch performance training gym in the area. I couldn’t be more proud to send my parents to him and his team for personal training.

The team at Phyx Performance knows the anatomy and understands the science. More importantly they are great with all of their clients from all sorts of backgrounds and activity levels.

I’ve personally worked out with Jon a number of times and watched him work out with others. There is NOBODY else in metro Detroit I would trust my parents with as much as I do with him and his team.

If your looking for a gym where the trainers and owner actually care about you and your success, this is the gym you need to go to. My workout this morning was very challenging but the owner was literally with me every step of the way. He spotted me when I needed the extra help, corrected my technique when I was doing the movement incorrectly and encouraged me when I needed it the most. Love this place!

I have been working out at Phyx for one year and it has by far been the best gym experience I have had. Semi-private personal training is a great way to work out with a high level of instruction and accountability with autonomy at the same time. The hours are flexible with hours starting at 6am and the ability to work out as late as 8pm this is a place that can work for any schedule. The trainers are fantastic and within one year I have lost over 30+lbs and definitely in the best physical condition since college.

Trying something new is never easy. So, when I added Phyx Performance to my regular workout routine, I wasn't sure if I'd love it or if it would actually make a difference to what I was already doing. Well, I am now nearing 2 months at Phyx and can't imagine quitting! I've already seen physical changes and I've learned new techniques I never knew before to get more out of my workout movements. Jon is tough; but he's also realistic. He knows if I need to scale back or go harder; he just knows! He challenges me every time I'm there. Went to Phyx after having my 3rd c-section. Was a little skeptical because it is group training versus one on one like I was used to, but Jon definitely changed my mind set. Physical goals are personal and the trainers make you feel right at home. They are extremely supportive and have created an environment that feels very comfortable no matter what your fitness level is.

I have previous sports injuries & the staff is very aware and attentive to my form and giving alternative movements so that we maximize my workout without compromising my body.

I’ve been working out consistently the last 7 weeks and this is the result:

Jon makes you feel very welcome right from the start, he listens to what your goals are and tailors a workout program that is perfect for you! I have only been working with him for about a week and I am already starting to see results! Jon at Phyx Performance is fantastic. He works with you to find a solution to whatever it is you're trying to accomplish. For me, I have issues with my back that stem from many car accidents. He is helping me work on core strength to help me have less pain.

I am also a big fan because this isn't a "regular" gym... it's a training facility that's private, not intimidating, and allows for one-on-one training sessions.

Love this gym! Can't say I love working out (okay - I hate the fact that I need to and have to) but when I am done - I feel better. My back, neck and shoulder issues are much better now. Jon explains the exercises, watches and corrects my form and adapts the exercises if needed. It has only been a few months but there is a difference in what I could do then and what I can do now. Thanks Jon for not letting me give up.

Phyx Performance is not your average gym. it's hands down the best gym i've ever been too. From the excellent customer service, to feeling like family when you walk in the door, I truly don't have enough good things to say! I personally do the one on one training with Jon, and i've never been happier. For me being healthy and working out has always been a challenge. When I met Jon his motivation, and high energy would force me to want to lead a better lifestyle.
