What started as a fun thing for our very hyperactive child turned into a fun, active family filled activity that my wife and I now do almost everyday either at home or in the training center here at PKSA Flat Rock with our two boys. We’ve done everything you could think of here between the forms, basics, and even a little sibling rivalry between the boys at sparring class haha. We’ve made some pretty cool friends here too some that we think will be with us for a long time. This place is the place to become a new you.

Both of my kids, ages eight and ten, attend PKSA Karate in Flat Rock, and it has been a fantastic experience. Mr. Leo and his team are kind, patient, and genuinely care about the students. The other members are welcoming, which makes every class a positive experience for my children.

Called in about pricing a month ago to sign my child up. $30/month for the first month. No one reached out to us to continue so my husband went up there to ask. When I originally called I was told it’s $98/month. Then, a month later, my husband was told it was $108/month per inflation. Later that same night, he got an email saying it’s actually $209/month and $518 total to get started and that’s including a “discount” on registration. This is absolutely insane. Would give 1 star but the instructors for the kids class are super nice & helpful & good with the kids.

I love being a part of the PKSA family, the owner and instructors are amazing with my son. They take their time in teaching all who join and getting them ready for testing. Fabulous program and instruction for all ages. We have been pleasantly surprised with how much our daughters have learned, but more importantly how much they have enjoyed learning karate here!! All the instructors are knowledgeable and qualified in their teaching and wonderful with the kids!! Very uplifting and clean environment. We would highly recommend at least giving it a try if your or your child are interested. We have been attending for ten months. I don't think we will be stopping any time soon!!

This school has taken me from white belt all the way to black belt! One hundred percent worth the time and effort. The instructors are very personal and love to connect with the students. The school includes a program for children from three to seven, and a program for those who are seven and up. They teach weapons, sparring, and self defense. Highly recommend!

This PKSA school is remarkable. The instructors take the time to work with you. They teach you the importance of martial arts in your life. They show you step by step how to get to each belt that you need to get to. If you are struggling with learning the skills, they will work with you until you figure it out. The PKSA organization is an amazing reputable organization that teaches you life skills, personal skills, how to be respectful and to have discipline, build character and help you grow into an amazing individual. All of the schools help you do this. The couple at school will definitely show you how.

I'm am so disappointed. I was mislead to believe that I was signing a 3 month contract and it clearly said it would only be 3 months yet I've been charged for 5 months and they continue to withdraw. I've called and spoke to someone who said she cancelled it last month. I've left multiple messages without any response . I'm am completely unsatisfied with the way they run business.

My kids love it here, great classes. All the teachers are very nice and helpful. The classes are well taught and my kids are picking it up quick. They have classes for younger kids too that's really fun but still teaching them basics without being way to much for small attention spans.

Pksa was the best thing that has happened to me. I started when I was about 5 or 6 and now im a 1 degree black belt and my brother is a 2nd. ( btw this is Grace and Tyler Chartrand ) when hope you can join it!!!!!! <3 ;D :D
