The staff is amazing, especially the morning crew. They keep the place very clean and are always so personable and accommodating. I really love the BC Planet Fitness. The staff make it an incredible experience every time. They know your name, machines are well maintained, facility is always clean, and while it can get busy, it’s never overly crowded in the mornings. I’m a truck driver and I’ve been noticing and love the upgrades that PF have been doing. I do hope that they one increase the dumbbells at least to 100, although up to 150 would be great. The staff here was very nice, approachable, and I had a great conversation with Eva. Being a Navy vet we spoke about her so. Who is also in the Navy. Great facility all around. Although it wasn’t an issue here, but I wish that personnel would walk the floor to remind/monitor people who do not put back their weights. I’m a big guy and I left heavy. I ALWAYS put my weights back. Too many gym’s allow this type aloof behavior. Let’s keep planet fitness “fitness friendly” even with the new upgrades!

I have had a horrible experience with body shaming at this gym. I canceled my membership online and have been charged for a few months out of nowhere just today. I called the gym to talk to staff and management. I have only went to the gym once! I am being refused to be refunded because I am having a hard time explaining how I canceled my membership (learning disability and I’m frustrated). I can’t seem to get help online or in the gym to cancel my membership and now I’m just being charged for it. They literally took grocery money for my four children out of my account. I’m not sure what to do maybe I will have to get a lawyer this is not ok!!! I hope someone contacts me and helps!!! ***** I have tried to contact the company by email and phone over and over. At this point I am co reacting a lawyer **

This club has improved so much in recent months, Anthony and Grace stand out. Everyone seems busy, taking care of the club and assisting members.

I often use 2 different facilities, because one is close to work. The other location is close to home. The option to use these different locations is amazing. It helps squeeze the workout in and takes away any excuses not to go. There's always somebody very welcoming at the front desk to help you scan your card. The option for mental health and physical health is my favorite part. Some days I'll just take a Mental Health Day to: sit in a massage chair, go to red light therapy, and maybe even tan. On other days, I'll go sweat through a workout that offers full body fitness on very clean equipment in a no-pressure atmosphere.
It is not the kind of gym with glasses where you meet. Your new best friend. But it is an amazing option at a stiller price with everything you need to get in and out feeling like you accomplished something.

They advertise that there’s no hidden fee or additional fee to sign up by certain date, but the next month they charge extra money and when I wanted to cancel, they were making up stories, it took me more then two months to cancel my memberships and I only went there for a few days for workout. In total I got charged $90 for two months for nothing and I had to cancel my credit card to make them stop charging me. I called the corporate and the corporate I formed this location then this location left me a voicemail with so much extra attitude saying I can not get any refund. Very unprofessional

Planet Fitness has a bad rap for being the laughing stock of all gyms. Yet, at the end of the day you can get results from going here just as well as anywhere else at a fraction of the price. The gym has all the basic necessities needed to build muscle and a few extra commodities. (Massage chairs, tanning beds, personal trainer, etc.) The community and staff are very welcoming and friendly. A evening staff worker, Sam always greets me upon entering the building with a smile on her face. She has a very professional and confident demeanor in everything she does. With everything this gym offers it would be a grave misfortune not to partake in. 5/5 stars :)

Very happy with how clean and well put together this location is. The front desk staff are amazing as well especially Destiny and Liv, they both did a great job explaining what being a new member is all about and are well knowledged in the equipment and spa offerings. I am very pleased by how I have been treated by the entire staff and they have always been super helpful and pleasant whenever I have a random question. I've been to numerous gyms from my teens years & up. Weight lifting & machines aren't my thing, I prefer kickboxing. But my health insurance granted me the active & fit program & led me to participate at planet fitness again & other qualifying gyms around grand rapids. I normally go to this gym & 44th street in Grandville & I must mention that out of most planet fitnesses in grand rapids these 2 are the CLEANEST, most comfortable & welcoming PF's.
At 68th street I'm always seeing the 2nd shift staff clean everything everywhere & stay busy. Having clean areas, locker rooms, machinery & countertops are extra nice. Destiny, Olivia, Sam, Rachel & Grace are most of the ones I see when I attend. If I need anything in assistance, questions answered at all they're always quick to help & resolve. An environment like this makes me want to continue to come back here & 44th vs others due to the filthyness, lack of work ethic / efficiency. This team should definitely be more recognized for the work they put in. I admire their professionalism yet they can be personable at the appropriate times & make me laugh 😃

Beware. If you cancel membership they will keep billing you anyways. I canceled over 700 days ago and just noticed they are still charging me. They won't consider a refund of any kind. My brother & I came into the planet fitness I check in & check him in as my guess we both took showers got dress I went to the car to finished my work my brother stayed inside the planet fitness the white guy who works the night shift kick him out because I wasn’t inside with him. My brother purchase a membership after he got kicked out & the white guy called the police on him because he had his hoodie on & said he didn’t feel safe with my brother inside the gym but I look around he’s the only black guy in the gym but you dnt feel safe with me in it after you called the cops on me.
