Been a member here for a while now. It’s a smaller location, so it can get busy, but there are plenty of machines to use as long as the place isn’t packed. There are locker rooms and showers onsite, which are very clean. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Happy to be a member here!

I was excited when Planet Fitness came to Grand Blanc. I have been a member since it opened. Does anyone remember when Planet Fitness first opened they advertised how they were for more than people who wanted to lift things up & put them down (body building type of people)? I think their focus has changed. Weight lifting has taken over. There truly is no where to stretch anymore. Everything is so close together besides the free weight/lifting area, of course. They got rid of machines to make room for more free weights & lifting equipment, like the ab machine for the air humping machine, you know the glute one. They removed half of the ellipticals and moved them from under the fans. They did get new cardio equipment that has individual fans. I'm sure the individual fans are great if you are a bit taller but for me it blows right in my eyes. Some of the fans don't work when you go backwards. I love there are more stair steppers. I have seen the staff cleaning more than I have in the past but I wouldn't say the black card area is better than it has in the past. Half or more of the paper towel dispensers don't work properly. Be sure to clean the beds before using them. The staff isn't consistent in making black card members check in before using services or show eyewear. Alex always gives hassle, is unhelpful, and not pleasant.

Omg. The front staff here I think is brain dead. I have been a member of planet fitness since 2020. I'm on automatic deductions. They have made a lot of money off me. And I do not go to the gym like I should. I went to work out with a friend at this location on Tuesday. Which I pay for the black card which gives me the ability to go to any gym anywhere. And I have been to many gyms over the last year. And had no problem entering using my barcode. Well today it came up that I had a $15 late charge from one year ago. Again I have been to planet fitness many times since that. Second I had no idea that there was a late fee. And have no idea why there's a late fee since it's automatically deducted from my account every month. And it's an ACH so it's not even like the credit card was declined. The person behind the counter tried to look it up said she can't get to it. Because my membership started at a different location. I said okay obviously you can see that I'm a member. And obviously you can see that this is from one year ago. And I've been paying every month for the last year. Can I just come in and work out and then I'll go check at my gym and get this taken care of. She refused. I tried to discuss with her she was rude to me she told me I should just pay my bills and then I wouldn't have this problem. And again I will state that I've been a member for the last year that means I've been paying every single month for the last year. And this fee is from a year ago. I just want to go work out and then I'll get it taken care of since she was unable to do it. She continued to be rude and would not let me do that. I have now canceled my entire account and I will never ever go to a planet fitness again. Spent over $200 in the last year and they don't want to let me in for a late charge from a year ago that I wasn't able to wear that I had. Why didn't they stop me from coming in a year ago when the late charge was created.? Why haven't I gotten any notice saying that I have a late charge that needs to be paid before I can go to the gym again.? I was already considering going to a different gym this was the nail in the coffin. I now joined the YMCA which has more equipment has a pool has saunas has a hot tub has classes has a gym. I have not been happy with planet fitness for a while but for the person behind the counter to be this route to somebody who's been a pain member for over 4 years is completely ridiculous.

It’s fine if you never need them for anything or want to take a guest. Every single time I took a guest there was an issue. They’d tell me that I need to go home get online and fix it myself, but when I did the issue continued. Then they wouldn’t let my daughter in because she didn’t have a license. I said she’s only 15, but they wouldn’t budge. No entry. If you don’t really care about customer service or proper procedures this is your place. If you’re paying double and expect what’s presented to you I’d recommend a different location and company. The manager was ten feet from me. Didn’t address me or even act like I was there. He talked around me and wouldn’t look at me.

Not open 24 hours. Closed more often than it should be. Doesn’t open till 6 AM on Friday and days following holidays. Not big enough for the amount of members. Far too busy most of the time to do anything productive unless you go before 6am which becomes a problem because of the times it’s closed. No workouts on Fridays for early risers. Equipment is very basic. Would like more weight areas and less cardio equipment.

Now other than having horrible Aquafina which is just poison in a bottle for water, they had multiple machines that didn't function properly. So I have to knock this gym down to 3. Multiple of the machines wouldn't allow me to adjust the positions because they were broke.

Super convenient location. But it is always PACKED. Since they changed the hours to 10pm instead of 24 hrs it's literally not even worth it anymore.

When it was 24 hrs you could go late night if you wanted and avoid the crowd. Now it's completely unavoidable.

Due to work, I need a gym that is 24/7, and no way am I going to drive all the way to Burton at 10pm as a young female.

I have been visiting this gym for three years and it has always been my favorite to train. For a few months now I don't know whether to think the same thing because there are people who look at you ugly in the women's bathrooms, there is no female solidarity AT ALL, now let's talk about an employee!! Since they hired the girl with the glasses, a blonde with loose hair, I'm no longer convinced of what I said above. That girl is always in a bad mood, she doesn't greet you, she talks to you softly, she doesn't give good information, in short, I don't know what they hired her for if she isn't interested in what to do. her work is good. The bottle of water that I brought from home has also been stolen three times, I know it is my responsibility for leaving the bottle but there is no need to STEAL in this country with so many bottles they sell.

I was in there Friday Morning and the service person that was working was not a friendly person, she was rude to me , and it looked like she had not washed her hair in a few days. It had that greasy look to it. I had asked her a few other questions and she could not tell me the answers to the questions and was no help to me at all. I hope she can be helpful to other and many someone could talk to her about hygiene if your working in a place that your meeting the public

Planet Fitness is a solid gym option for performing physical exercise activities. As expected, treadmills, exercise bicycle machines, dumbbells, and other equipment are provided. From personal observance, 5AM-7AM and 4PM-7PM tend to be the hours when the Grand Blanc Planet Fitness (GBPF) location is flooded with gym attenders. While not terrible compared to other Planet Fitness locations, this cause can hinder finishing your workout on schedule, and finding parking can prove to be a challenging task.

The GBPF employees consistently clean the locker rooms, and are sociable answering inquiring questions. Lately, presumably due to the winter weather, the GBPF has been experiencing roof leaks. Employees have been utilizing mop buckets and wet floor signs mitigating slippage.

If you are a bodybuilder, or have a desire utilizing a Smith Machine, the GBPF has four or five machines available. Yet, there is a high probability arriving at the gym, all Smith Machines will be occupied. I understand why PF prioritizes treadmill and exercise bicycle machine occupancy; however, this can cause some PF members to switch gyms realizing this discovery.

I’ve been going to this gym on and off for about 6 months or so and it’s always clean! There is a lot of variety and it has more of everything. The staff is always very nice! I started the pfit burn class for the first time and I LOVED IT! Jessica was SUPER inspiring and helped so much with my start. I would recommend doing these classes with her 100%! And the other ladies in the class were super helpful as well. Overall it’s just a great community of people helping each other! Will definitely be back for the classes!

The parking lot is decent, although often very full. Walking in, I like that the Black Card area is more exclusive and private behind glass doors, but the stand-up unit they put me in was wretched and raggedy. Planet Fitness is super! I have worked out there since they opened. Please , please turn down temperature in there, it’s 70 in there, way too hot for exercising! I have talked and talked to staff, manager, please, turn down temperature, should be at about 65, you want people to workout, not fall asleep! Seriously. I enjoy the friendly and clean environment. Every time I come in, I am greeted by helpful staff. The trainers are non-judgmental and make a program that works even for a beginner that is intimidated. I can confidently work out after the trainers showed me how to use the equipment and helping me find the right settings to best suit my body and my needs.
