I’ve been a member at multiple Planet Fitness locations, and unfortunately, the Greenville branch has really gone downhill — largely because of unprofessional staff behavior. One employee in particular, Cypress, has consistently been rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. She’s often away from the front desk for long periods (taking repeated breaks or disappearing into the bathroom), leaving members waiting with no assistance. On several occasions, she’s even spread false information about members instead of addressing issues professionally.
It’s disappointing to see how this kind of conduct has affected the overall environment. The lack of accountability and poor attitude from some staff have damaged the reputation of what used to be a friendly, welcoming gym. Planet Fitness corporate really needs to step in and restore the positive, judgment-free atmosphere that members expect.

This goes back awhile, but the overweight lady at the counter with funny colored hair was rude and not considerate to my wife who is unfortunately terminally ill. I won’t go into details, but we were both Plant Fitness members long before the Greenville location was established.

I’ve been going to Greenville PF for a while now and honestly, the service is top-notch. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional. The gym is clean, well-maintained, and has a great variety of equipment. I really appreciate the welcoming and non-intimidating environment—makes it easy to stay consistent. Definitely one of the best fitness experiences I’ve had!

It's a smaller Planet Fitness, but the gym in Greenville is clean. Staff is really friendly. There's enough machines to get a full body workout completed. It's less crowded than the gym in Dearborn/Detroit, but those gyms also have more strength training equipment. The most noticeable admission being the lack of a decline bench press equipment. If you're experienced in bodybuilding, you can get around it with other exercises to target the lower pectoral muscle. Whenever I'm in town, I like going to the PF in Greenville. I'd recommend it to other people.

I love working out at planet fitness! I am legally blind, and sometimes going into a gym can be intimidating for people with disabilities. The workers at the gym are always super nice, and very helpful. The gym, bathroom areas, and locker rooms are always nice, and clean.
The only thing I would change, is being able to do red light therapy for 20 minute increments, instead of 10. Also, for us single parents, I think Planet Fitness would make a killing, if they had a daycare.
