Planet Fitness is amazing at Holland south. The gym is spotless, machines are well-maintained, and the overnight staff is especially friendly and helpful. Madison in particular is welcoming and encouraging. She is prompt and formal to those who prefer a quiet, focused experience. But she is likewise engaging with those who welcome conversation when arriving and departing. Sometimes I am too lazy to get to the gym, but knowing Madison is there tips the scales. Most of the time though she is tirelessly cleaning and straightening up PF spaces.

Been to this location a handful of times, and not once have I ever been able to stretch properly due to there always being one or two young women either napping, reading, or playing on their laptops in the stretching area. Never had this problem at any other location.

Heather has been working with me and training me to use the equipment the correct way . It has really made a big difference in the way I feel during and after.
So far, I have come in every day this week. We have worked on all the different body parts. She has taught me how to use some of the weights that I'm not that familiar with . This has also helped me. She is great at her job. She listens to what you need help in and doesn't put any pressure on you.
I'm so happy that she is there to help. Everyone should work or just talk to her.

I live in Spring Lake and I have a Planet Fitness that's 10 minutes away from my house but I choose to drive 3X the distance to this specific location. All because of the amazing staff, specially Madison. She has made me feel so welcome and comfortable since I started going. She acknowledges me by name, even went as far as to ask how to pronounce it correctly! She's truly a gem and I hope the company sees what an asset she truly is.

Madison is the best. when the Planet Fitness Corp. writes on the wall "No judgment" that only make me feel like I'm being judged. So I can imagine it has to be awkward to work their and the employees have to be hyper conscious of how the customers will respond to some one being friendly. Amazing piece of real estate. I would like to highlight one of the employees; Austin House. He never ceases to amaze me with his positive attitude. It's a very clean facility open 24 hours with friendly staff. It has all the machines I like to use, and they're easy to adjust. Memberships are very affordable. The Black Spa massage chairs and hydrmassage feel great after a workout (available for Black Card members). I like being able to use both the North and South side of Holland locations, whichever is most convenient on a goven day/time, with the Black Card.

I just joined the south side Planet fitness after looking around at all the gyms in Holland. It is such a nice facility and you can’t beat the price. Had issues with their payment system. I had a late past due balance, my account was short on the originaldue date. So, I went in and paid it in person at the counter. Just to be denied and told I was late and no payment was made then next day I came to workout. My bank shows the transaction as posted but yet I was punished. I usually go to gyms like iron lab, or endurance in kentwood for my workouts just because I need the heavier weights or barbell benches and squats; HOWEVER, I love going to planet for their awesome arm machines and ab machines along with their great cardio selection! The space is huge and allows me to do my workouts without feeling confined! The new 24th St Planet Fitness gym feels very open and spacious. It is filled with brand new equipment and machines! I like the newest versions of some of the machines because they feel more comfortable and some have multiple exercise options. Ex: the hip abductor is also a hip adductor. I also love the location because it is a much shorter drive from where I live!
