The staff was amazing at showing all the machines,different workout areas, the locker room areas and the recovery facilities. They were also very helpful in showing me how the planet fitness vending machines operated. The facility was clean and spotless, nothing like the old time gyms were.

Started a membership for 25 a month . I've had it for 2 months .they have charged me 400 with weekly charges trying to make me jump though hoops for their mistakes. Can't recommend when they treat people this way .

I usually go to the Fort Gratiot location , they closed down for a few days to change out equipment so I tried the Marysville location let me tell you Marysville is filthy and nasty gym and shower !! I miss and love the fort Gratiot location so clean so so clean !!!

I like going there to work out. I like a lot of the gym equipment. I can get in and out easily on a majority of days. I think they could move some smaller equipment to different parts of the gym.

Had them update my payment method. Then they started charging me late fees after it wasn’t done properly. Refused to refund money even after being told by another location they made the mistake. Save your money for a more reputable managed location.

This location is clean and usually not too busy. For the most part, everyone is really nice. The trainer is super nice and fri3ndly, always willing to help, and never makes you feel insecure or dumb if you need help with a machine or certain exercise.

The reason for 4 stars is that sometimes they close their black card club early for cleaning. I was initially told they close it down and clean every day at 4 pm, but sometimes they close it at around 345, so it "clears out" to make it easier for them. I totally understand, don't get me wrong, but if I am going to be out by 4pm (the time they say they close the club) why deny me access??

Overall I really enjoy this facility, its always clean, and again for the most part everyone here is friendly and helpful.

Never have understood the remote sign-in sheet, when you already have to scan in with the app. First planet fitness makes everyone download an app a couple years ago at some locations they won't allow you to scan in with the card. Now we all use the app and we have to waste our time signing a sheet

I love all the different sections with cardio, stretching, weights, etc. Love that after my workout I can relax on the hydro massage, massage chair, and the new cryo! It’s clean with friendly staff! I just love the purple/yellow vibe!

Giving 5 stars because I think a lot of the issues might be problems that PF can’t control.…such as the horrible parking situation: weird angles, poor traffic flow, giant potholes. Also, a leaky roof- there are buckets everywhere and I was actually getting hit with drops while on a machine. Both of these issues need to be addressed- but I am guessing it’s up to whomever rents the property.
The gym itself is nice. The staff itself is friendly and helpful. It is roomy enough that You don’t feel like you are working out on top of other patrons. The locker rooms are kept nice and clean. There are more than enough lockers so you can always find one use. The only other issue I seem to run into is being able to use the red therapy room with vibration plate. Every single time I come in- (different days and times) it’s always in use. It seems like the several tanning bed rooms are always open….It would be nice to add an extra red light/vibration room so you at least stand a chance of being able to take advantage of that perk.

Black card amenities are great! Love the red light therapy with the shake plate, the massage chair, and the cryo hydro massage beds. Everything is very clean and there is plenty of equipment for all experience levels. The parking lot could use some help, weird angles to pull into spots and watch out for pot holes. But otherwise, it’s been a very positive experience in the facility, highly recommend!

It’s a very relaxing and comfortable place to work out in the location is convenient to get to the environment is clean and safe and the employees are very helpful and nice and they listen to the customers needs or questions. I like all the staff but Nathan seems really down to earth. Easy to talk to. And receptive to customer "improvements." Not combative. I have had problems with other Gyms in the area, but Planet Fitness seem like they are really trying.

We like the gym. Most of the staff are great. The staff needs to be trained on information that is actually available to customers on the app and whats listed on the contracts. I had to call twice to get an answer and now I am so frustrated because unfortunately the staff member couldn't comprehend my simple question. Staff need to be trained on where to field calls if they can't answer questions instead of making themselves look dumb and customers angry. There should be a customer service rep available for each franchise group to answer questions specified for those locations included within a franchise group. The owners/trainers are setting their staff up for failure if they can't offer them the proper support to field calls.

The gym is actually really nice. The newer machines have the rep counter and a timer on them. The gym is also very clean.

Only thing I will say is that I wish the showers were a few degrees hotter. I’m sure it is the owner trying to save costs of heating water, but I really wish it could be actual hot water and not luke warm water - especially after a tough workout. If you’re reading this, can you please make the adjustment on the showers? Just a few degrees hotter please. And please don’t give me an excuse such as “it’s automatically set by corporate,” jargon.

What a great experience! I've never set foot in a Planet Fitness before this one and I've had nothing but a great experience. The gym is kept very clean and the equipment selection is great. I've already found my 'time' to go. I even get a little massage reward!

I'll add some pics next time I go.

Also check the profiles of the ppl leaving these 'bad' reviews. One guy below doesn't ever write positive reviews only negative ones. Get a life bro.

The staff is amazing, ask one if they could help me on what area I should stay in as I’m looking more for arm flabby area of my body help. The young man told and showed me the area of the gym I should focus on and told me where to start and how many reps I should do every other day and have rest days also so YES , I would say marysville gym is better than any other planet fitness I have been. Hats off to all the employees there!

New to this gym love it me and my husband work out together and it's very clean and the staff has been so friendly and nice .I highly recommend planet fitness. I do wish if you bring a guest and a black card member they can try the spa .I think it would be a great selling point . But still love it .
