I called in February to cancel my membership. I'm still getting billed after being told it was canceled by an employee. I'm now out $175 and still stuck paying. I was told my account was canceled. Clearly not. Online told me to call to cancel. I called. They supposed cancelled. I call again now, apparently they don't cancel over the phone. I won't be able to be refunded the money lost. I'm a teacher in the district and used to recommend this gym to everyone, but I'm definitely telling them to avoid now. Extremely upset.

Love Planet Fitness. After a couple years of not being able to go due to health issues I started back up a week ago. I love the workers, their always so friendly and helpful. The only thing I would like to see is the hours go back to 24/7. The best time for my son and I to go is at night around 11pm but we cant do that Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the shorter hours. I missed tonight because I wasn't able to get there before closing. Other then that everything is amazing.

Hey pf this is a response to my last review u replied to but i tried to reach a manger called 10 minutes after i left. The person who answered said they have a manager email for complaints which i said okay can i have it. He proceeded to say i don't have it or knows what it is. I asked so I can't email them. He said not tonight I don't have the paper that has it. He said u can come in to get it. I said o okay so I went this morning to talk to a manger which I was told they are in at 10 o'clock everyday. I said okay I'll call then. Which the desk person said they might not be in at ten they come when they want at that point I was confused Becuse two sentences prior she said they'd be there. which is cool I guess for managers to stroll in when they want if that's your company policy. But she then said i will put it into the computer that you'd like to talk, and I'll write what happened. They will call u when they get in. Guess what no call. So id like to go that route for communicating my issue, but lack of effort and respect from management is making that hard. Is there someone in corporate that could help me?

it's kinda crazy that I was told by an employee I can't do super sets when it's busy?!?! I'm so confused because I waited patiently for the machines I wanted to use. But because an impatient guest wanted to use it when she wanted and didn't understand the concept, I was in the wrong? Can u please show me where it says that in the fine print? if thats a new rule im wrong but I'm just super confused...been a member for over 7 years never saw that anywhere. Definitely contemplating switching from pf to a gym that lets u do super sets with a minute and a half rest in-between.

I went out of curiosity. I am not disappointed at all. The equipment is great and the variety and amount of equipment in each of the locations I have been to is also awesome. Very clean facilities. The people that work at each of the locations have been super friendly. The no judgement vibe at Planet Fitness makes it the most comfortable gym I've ever belonged to. I did get the black card member ship for having flexibility, if I am not home and visiting my family and friends out of state. Now, I dont have to miss exercise time, ever! No excuses! I totally understand now, why people love Planet Fitness. And - you can't beat the price! I've always look forward to going to the gym, but being an older woman and skeptical of PF being just for a younger crowd, my skepticism melted right away. PF makes me look even more forward to going for my workouts bc of the chill vibe here. I absolutely love Planet Fitness!

I usually go to the Grand Blanc location, but was in Owosso, so give their location a try. It is soooo much nicer than the GB PF. The equipment is newer and there are more of each machine. The locker rooms are bigger and cleaner. The facility itself was extremely clean. The layout makes much more sense. I’m so bummed to be going back to my usual location.

I have been a black card member here for about two months and have very much enjoyed the staff and amenities. They have always been polite and accommodating. They explained everything very well from the beginning and have always been patient with me when I had questions to clarify the rules and procedures. The locker rooms are always clean and the workout floor is always ready to be used. The cleaning stations are always stocked. I got my membership due to an awkward roommate situation and have mainly showered there but, plan to begin working out more soon. I can't say that the other members havent behaved as though my showering absent working out was a concern but, no one has said anything.

The owosso planet fitness is great. Planet fitness as a company is garbage. They bill after canceling and don’t register cancels properly. The cancel process is a major inconvenience no way to do it over the phone or online. You have to write a letter or go in person and sign stuff. They stole over a $100 in fees before I realized they were still charging when I canceled. Wish I could give zero stars , but the owosso staff was great and friendly and helped me whenever I needed it. The company is crooked.

Tons of a variety of machines, so there's always room for you. 30 min room rocks when getting started on your exercise journey or you only have a short time to get a full body workout. Spoke to Zach who was super rude and unkind for simply asking to cancel my membership as I've tried to do several times. Took my name down several times, didn't let me finish spelling it before cutting me off and putting me on hold, and asking me to respell it and cut me off again before I could finish. Told me how I tried to cancel wasn't legitimate when I was simply asking how and for help. Asked to speak to someone higher up and told I must be having connection issues and was hung up on. Today I sent a letter to cancel my membership, I have membership elsewhere and wouldn't want to come to PF, seems like the employee is very condescending. I see most of the comments responding to negative reviews are asking to speak to the club manager, which would be amazing if given the opportunity to do so, but was quickly hung up 🤷🏻‍♀️ good luck y'all. Just gonna dispute it with my bank and show them proof I've attempted cancellation since communicating is clearly not a strong suit.

Not open 24/7 anymore. No locations near Owosso are open on weekends for us night shifters. Management recommended driving all the way to Grand Blanc (40 min drive from Owosso) as an alternative, but now have cut hours at that location overnight as well. No discounts off membership are offered for the hours being cut. Furthermore, the Owosso location replaced a lot of the equipment with new machines that are not a good fit for taller people. We used to love this gym/location.

My biggest complaint is that the women's locker room is always dirty. The worker comes in, shuts the locker doors and that's it. It's trashed in there. The showers are gross every day!! The gym floor is never cleaned anymore. There's been a flosser on the floor for 2 days. Instead of just standing at the front desk chatting, maybe try to keep the place clean. Highly disappointed

I love this place. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and someone is always available to assist. The machines are easy to use and hardly will you see a machine out of order.
The tanning process is simple and they keep the beds/rooms clean.
The price is good. I have the black membership. It’s 25$ a month for unlimited use of the gym, tanning beds/booths, massage chairs/beds. Plus with the black membership you can take a friend or family member with you for free. Or if you just prefer to do the gym only like my boyfriend and daughter does, it’s only 10$ a month. I would highly recommend!

I don't use this location for working out. But I do tan here sometimes and wanted to start using the massage chair. I'm not too sure why they haven't upgraded yet? The chairs were like dinosaurs and you have to use tokens to start the machines. It gave me more of an annoying massage that only had minimal options. Also it would be nice if they could upgrade to the QR (like other locations)for tanning instead of writing your information down every single time!

Let's just start with I've had my membership here for a few years and never really had the motivation to stay consistent. I recently found out I had some health issues that I needed to address. I highly recommend scheduling a design your own program and talk with the trainer Lisa at this gym. She is an absolute gem, and will discuss overall health, restrictions, and goals you want to make for the future. She will not only be your hype girl but she will motivate you and push you beyond your limits even if she's just there working out and not clocked in for the day. I will forever be greatful for the things she has taught me and I seriously can't wait to see my results by 2024 and most importantly I can't wait to learn even more from her when my first program is done. Seriously those new years resolutions are coming and I highly recommend getting it to discuss those goals with Lisa.

Absolutely love this gym and this specific location! The PF employees have all been awesome. My husband and I have been going in 5 days a week and have loved the black card membership accommodations! I do wish having a guest under the black card membership should allow the guest the amenities of massages but! We absolutely love it and will continue to show up for ourselves and our health!
