Been a member here for several years and the staff is amazing! Always super friendly. I am however very disappointed they have not replaced the trainer they had at this location. Granted he was exceptional and hard to replace but going to classes was the main reason I signed up. The classes were almost always full so there's clearly a demand for them. I feel like I'm paying for a service I'm no longer getting. The staff has recommended going to other locations that have a trainer but to me that is not acceptable. If a trainer isn't added soon I'm afraid I'm going to have to go elsewhere.

Went in and canceled a membership today. Mind you I did not know I had one or I would have been going. Many months thinking it was a mess up all that money straight out the window. And then they charge me for a late fee. Like really. Are you all that greedy. No wonder you have 4-5 people working they gotta find a way to pay everyone. Very clean, organized club. Friendly staff. I'm glad this club is close to home. However, when their workout equipment is down, it's down for weeks, even months. Even after repair, it breaks down again & stays that way for a long time, and that may be the only machine of that kind. I have to drive to another club if I want to complete my workout. For weeks or months!

I became a PF member about 2 months ago for the first time. Plymouth is my home gym and I like it there a lot. Folks, this place is nice and I cannot stress it enough

Unlike other PF locations I've visited, this one requires Black Card members to sign a paper sheet upon entry. You're asked to provide a lot of personal info, including the reason you're using this particular gym. I find this process unnecessarily complicated, especially since the Black Card membership is supposed to grant access to any club without questions.

Everyone knows that Planet Fitness cannot be beat for the price. However, it recently occurred to me, that I should write a positive review not especially for the building or equipment or pricing, but rather for the staff of this particular location.

Like anyone, I need all of the positive reinforcement that I can get for taking the time to workout. Being greeted by a staff person like, let's say Clayton, who consistently actually seems happy to be there and greets everyone with a genuine smile, is the kind of positive reinforcement that I need.

Knowing that he provides that kind of genuine positive reinforcement to not only me but also to those in my community, makes me think that he is (in an odd way) a sort of important person in my life and our community.

Similarly, the personal trainer Alex not only makes excellent use of limited time during well-planned classes, but is also an astute observer of exactly how people are moving. He then does not criticize, but rather educates as to how to improve in an articulate, positive, kind way that, again, provides positive reinforcement.

On behalf of those who care about the health of our community, these Planet Fitness staff people are probably doing more than most. Thank you.

It's close to my home, decent price. This one is a bit small and doesn't have a lot of equipment, free weights only go to 50. I love that it has the hydromassage, it really helps after i am done working out to relieve some tension. It's clean and works for a quick workout, in a good location, and with my black card I can go to other locations when I have a bit more time. All the employees that work there are friendly and helpful.

I have been going to gyms for years. This is the cleanest gym I have attended. There is a high level of cleanliness at all times. What is also interesting it’s the cheapest gym membership I have ever had in all the years I have been going to a gym. Finally this gym offers small groups of classes run by an excellent personal trainer named Alex. All of which come with the membership. Unbelievable. Alex’ really knows is craft he pays attention to his group members and ensures they are preforming the exercises correctly . He also has a way of making everyone comfortable no matter their level of ability. I feel so good to be a member at this gym and to work with Alex .

This Planet Fitness is fantastic. The front desk employees are very friendly, and the gym is spotless. But the best thing about it is the personal trainer, Alex. He is the only reason I go.
I have had numerous personal trainers, some coming to my house or having one-on-one sessions three times weekly at a gym.
No one compares to him.
Alex conducts classless classes of 5 to 8 members and is fabulous. His emphasis is always on safety but also on achieving maximum results. His exercises and classes vary; I have gotten more from him than all my trainers through the years put together! I highly recommend him and this gym!

Decided to lower my rating one star. The pros - great location, easy parking, friendly staff, clean facility and typically not too busy. The cons - ONLY 1 Pec-Deck for chest and reverse shoulder exercises. I travel a lot and go to multiple PFs. Every single other gym I've been at has 2. Now it's been broken for weeks..... :(

New to the USA and decided to look around for gyms. Lots of bootcamps around but not like the gym i was expecting so i looked around further and ended up discovering PF. There was one nearby me which is canton but due to the reviews and comparing the places, i decided to register here in Plymouth instead even if its much farther to bike. I must say i dont regret my first visit.

I was assisted by a jolly staff named Clayton who was very kind and answered all my questions about group classes. He was accommodating. He showed me how to register via the app and also got to try the massage chairs. Since i initially registered for the classic, i wanted to see if its worth the upgrade and for the extra 10$ monthly, if you continuously use them i think worth the perks.

I went on a thursday 7-8pm it wasnt crowded. Lots of cardio machines but the strength areas are good too. Clean place.

This gym is one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever given myself. I started going here four days a week in January. The classes that are included with the ridiculously low membership fee are fantastic primarily because of Alex, the amazing fitness instructor. He is encouraging and challenging and incredibly good to work with. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of his design your own program class. Truly, he remembers every single person‘s name and is very good about knowing what people need and remembering that. The whole staff there is welcoming and warm and it really is a no judgment kind of place. People are friendly and seem very happy to be there.

This is the cleanest and best-kept Planet Fitness location I’ve ever been to. The employees are always out on the floor dusting equipment, emptying trash cans, etc. The women’s bathroom is always sparkling clean, even during peak busy hours. The employees at the front desk are friendly and have made me feel safe and welcome — which is important when you’re a woman working out alone. I’ve been a member of Planet fitness for sometime now, and I have visited a few different facilities which I’ll have been good but the Plymouth Facility stands out from the rest. I believe it is the teamwork that is established with Angie, Alex Fianna, Brye, Justin and Nick and the rest of the crew. The entire team keeps the facility clean they care about their members always willing to help no matter what the question. Everyone should try this facility. Obviously there are Planet Fitness gyms all over, but I’m very pleased with this location. Everyone who works there is very friendly, always saying hello and goodbye. The place is very clean, including the locker room. My only suggestion is to expand the space in the free weight area and eliminate a few cardio machines, as there are too many to ever be fully used.

Great Facility. The current staff is always courteous and professional. Gym is alway clean from top to bottom. The are very welcoming of my service animal. The only negative is the work out area for free weights (dumbbells and barbells) is a bit small and often a bit crowded. But for the price you can't beat planet fitness Plymouth location. Lastly, Alex, the current personal trainer at the time of this review is really good at his craft. Very smart humble and eager to teach.. I recommend his classes and sessions as they are free to patrons and he is a great asset to utilize.

I am so glad I switched to PF. I had gone to lifetime for several years. The PF Plymouth location is clean, the team is professional, friendly and helpful. The personal training sessions at lifetime were 100/hour, and I felt the classes were too Cookie cutter. I wanted to learn more about the classes at PF (I was completely shocked that they are part of your membership). I started with trx. I would like to give a huge compliment to Alex, the personal trainer. I have exercised for years, he has really helped me “un-learn” techniques that were the standard in many classes and training sessions I had been part of in the past. He is very knowledgeable, explains the process of all the exercises, how it benefits the muscle and of course the absolute correct positioning. I can’t even believe how much more I have been able to accomplish in the last few weeks being in his classes. I almost feel like I am cheating the system getting these classes as part of my $20 ish dollar a month membership. You won’t be disappointed with any of the classes. He works with each persons ability, the classes can be mixed with a wide age and physical range, but he makes it feel individual so you feel like you accomplished your goal when you leave.

So I’m not gonna lie it’s been nice pretty much having the place to myself with maybe 7-8 other people in there when I’m usually there.
