When I signed up, the staff person took my phone to "update my app" and now I"m having problems with my phone. They demand I show my driver license to enter and today said that was not sufficient I needed to also have a key tag. Staff is clearly not empowered to make simple decisions. To many requirements for a gym that costs $15 per month. I'll pay more down the street to have a better experience.

Just signed up for a membership. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Gym is exceptionally clean. There's a variety of machines, and an excellent spa area. The hydromassage is great. Just completed physical therapy, and this is the perfect gym to transition to. I also love that membership will get me into any location when I travel. Overall great experience.

Clean, friendly, and never have issues. My daughter and I go during the day while it's not busy. She's homeschooled and this helps burn off energy during the day. The only thing I wished planet fitness did offer is a way to add children (13+) to your account when you have more than 1. I don't want to purchase two memberships because both of my daughters want to workout with me. But that's my only concern and it's nothing huge. Love the atmosphere, everyone has always been great.

Update: Avoid their “drinks” at ALL costs. It’s horrendous. Despite paying for a “Black” membership (50% off drinks) it’s for water (free) and Powerade (that no one wants).

Don’t get me wrong, I’d be happy to pay a small fee for in-house drinks. However, go and charge me $4.00 for a $1.09 Celcius? Shame on you, PF.

I just bought an 18pk of Celsius for $20. Don’t waste your money on this gym’s apparent amenities - they are highway robbery.

The Planet Fitness in Saline, Michigan has a friendly, knowledgeable staff. In addition the entire facility is clean from the main floor to the Black Card Room and locker room. There are many options for getting a great workout which include; cybex, bikes, treadmills, 30 minute cardio room, stretching room, resistance machines, Smith machines and a large dumbbell rack. You can not beat the price and they are open 24-7.. i highly recommend!

The staff at Saline PF is awesome!! Always welcoming with a smile and a hello. They are walking around making sure the equipment is clean and cleaning stations are filled. If something needs attention, they are quick to take care of it. Benny the trainer is wonderful. He approached me months ago and asked if I wanted to do a class that day. He set up a rotation class and not only explained how each set was to be done, but then encouraged me throughout. He has shown me machines that I would have never have touched otherwise. I was harassed about having my sweatshirt on the floor next to the machine I was using. So I picked it up and put it on the machine I was using, which was good enough for one employee. However, it wasn’t enough for another employee that came and harassed me about the sweatshirt being on the machine. So people can wear stringer tank tops which are supposed to be against the rules but I can’t put my sweatshirt on a machine I’m using. Young irresponsible employees get to pick and choose what rules they enforce and with who they enforce them with. I bet if I was a 20 something with a six pack they wouldn’t say a word to me.

Update August 11th 2024:
Hours are now reduced on Friday and the weekends. So I change my schedule around to workout later than my normal 5am. Show up this morning at 6:30am, 30 minutes after the time it’s supposed to open and the gym is still locked up, waited 15 minutes, called the gym 3 times and nothing. Irresponsible and unprofessional operation.

this was an exceptionally clean and friendly planet fitness. newer so all the equipment was newer than i am used to at my home location. tried out the hybrid tanner that combines tanning and red light therapy and really enjoyed that as it cut down on my gym time by about 30 minutes. staff was welcoming and visible throughout my workout, cleaning equipment and locker rooms, moving things to and from the conditioning room. was offered a tour of the facility upon check in but declined since today was my "rest" day and I was only needing a treadmill.

Benny was a great personal trainer. He constantly reassured me and told me I was doing a great job! He made easy conversation and joked around with me to ease my anxiety about doing a class. He made sure that I felt comfortable the whole time I was in the class, and informed me about the equipment. First of all, the affordability of this gym is incredible. Sometimes I wonder if it's too good to be true. After being a member at Orange Theory, which was quite pricey for me, I was pleasantly surprised by the low cost of Planet Fitness.

One of the best features is the 24-hour access. I can work out whenever I want, even if it's a spur-of-the-moment decision. As someone who tends to be impulsive, this convenience is a game-changer. What's more, going late at night is a tranquil experience. The gym is quiet, allowing me to focus entirely on my workout.

The variety of equipment available is remarkable. I enjoy trying out different exercises and the abundance of equipment makes it possible. Whether I want to lift weights, hop on a treadmill, or try a new machine, Planet Fitness Saline has it all.

I am a senior and can highly recommend PF. There isn’t much you can’t do there. It can be a bit overwhelming. This is definitely a no pressure environment. The Saline Mi center is relatively new and has a very representative mix of customers. Old and young. I’d recommend the black card. The hydro massage chairs are excellent; much better than expected. They have a ton of tanning booths and at least one unit that mixes UV tanning with red light. I wish they had dedicated red light units. Very clean, and they have a good app.

The facility, the equipment, the staff, the other clientele, there’s not one thing I would want different. My mom needed someone to help her feel comfortable working out at her age (72) and both she and I (age 38) love it. I can practice yoga, use the rowing machine and wind down with a treadmill. I like the gym, great workout space, a lots of equipments, 24h, parking spot and never crowed.
The con is that doesn't have free weight bars and weight (maybe you say there is a few, like 10) but it is not enough or what would be needed for an appropriate free lifting weight training. I needed to adapt my training sheet because of it, and my workouts were composed in most by free weight lifts. I decided to stay even though because it is close to my house and I'm not a Professional.
For last, if it was a choice I would say increase more weight lift machines and decrease cardio machines.
I'm talking about specific points because most of the advanced trainners might wondering this.
