Such an awesome gym with teachers that are patient and care about your kids. They will encourage your kids but not baby them. They are knowledgeable and the lesson plans are well thought out, creative and fun while teaching skills needed to progress. We recently moved out of state and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.
Edit to add we still miss this gym and the staff. If you're looking for a gym and you're near St. Joe this is 100% the one I'd recommend

Kiddos love this place.

Gymnastics and ninja classes.

People sit in these seats right up close to the windows and work on their laptops the whole time. Never even watching their kids. While the rest of us who want to watch can't hardly see.

There is a monitor up in the air to see the back corner area which is pretty neat.

And there are at least 100 kids in the classes at the same time so classes ending and starting mean a lot of people trying to leave and enter at the same time.

Seems congested and packed.

But the kiddos love it so that's why we go.

My two kiddos have been participating in gymnastics at PIM for one year now. They started out in the Threes and Fives rooms and then aged out into the Fours and Beginner One. We did one recital (super fun, highly recommend) just make sure you sit at the front. We also threw a birthday party here, which was an absolute BLAST, everyone loved it. We've also attended Open Gym one Saturday.

Overall, my oldest daughter has learned a lot and has been progressing in different areas. They have a lot of fun and get energy out each day. I recommend all kiddos bring water bottles and use the bathroom PRIOR to class (seems to be an issue with younger classes). The instructors are knowledgeable and so good with kids. The staff seem to stay consistent year over year. There is also good communication between parents and the front desk. If you're interested at all, check it out!

Having heard nothing but great things about PIM, I took my 5-year-old grandson for the 1-hour open gym on a Saturday. The $10 pricing for non-members was well worth it.

This was a first experience for both of us, and it was exceptional for many reasons. Mixed-age activities can be tricky to manage, but I was so impressed with the tone set by PIM staff and the respectful behavior of the participants.

1. Very well staffed by attentive people who know when and how to intervene, redirect, and guide all ages of children, while still maintaining the fun
2. Clean, large, well-laid out space with a variety of equipment that allows kids to try new things, and gives kids room to move safely and freely, while still providing lines of sight for staff and parents
3. Dedicated 5-and-under space that is just as much fun as the other areas, but right-sized
4. Easy-to-navigate website with on-line registration and payment options that include thorough safety forms, published rules, and liability disclosures
5. Sensible limit on number of open gym participants

We are utilizing the Safari Sensory Camp the next 7 weeks. I was very impressed on how they worked with each kid at their level. My grandson had a great time!

I have taken my 2 kids, both under 5, to this place for over a year to dance classes, lil-ninja, open toddler gym, parent tot, and another class which I’m forgetting the name. The place seems to be getting wiped down and cleaned constantly which is awesome for obvious reasons related not only to pandemic but just dirty little kids running around sweating and being snotty. The staff do a great job of accommodating disabilities, hearing and physical, and the different childrens dispositions each and every time. The staff always call the children by their names which is great for my little ones to become self aware. One of my daughters claims her favorite princess is one of the staff members here, so what more can I say. This place is fantastic. The prices seem more than reasonable with appropriate discounts for multiple classes and children. My only recommendation would be for step stools in the bathrooms for the little kids to wash their hands and get up on the toilet but that’s it. The bathrooms have always been clean and smell free when I’ve gone and they have β€œfamily” bathroom which is nice because I’m a man and my kids are little girls so getting them to use the bathroom with my help as their learning is really nice.
Everything is padded and safe for little kids and parents to have a fun and run around and fall safely and be stress free. If you want to check it out open gym is super great and affordable.

This is a fantastic place to have your kids take lessons for gymnastics and dance. I have one toddler enrolled and he loves his weekly lessons with Miss Heidi. She’s extremely patient with the kids, even the very energetic ones. With enrollment we also get access to open gym time which gives us two hours a week in the winter to get some much needed exercise for the kids.

We have brought our two kids to the gym from 2016-2019 while being in the area and we have loved the teachers.
We attended classes from 18months(at the time the earliest you could sign the kids up for gymnastics) to 5yo.
The teachers were amazing and the kids loved going to gymnastics!
We also enjoyed toddler open gym, which was a wonderful experience for the small ones to try out the big gym ☺️

PIM is well organized, the facility is beautiful, and every worker we interacted with is kind. We love bringing our daughter here. The instructors are excellent with little ones and we love that they have sections specifically for the younger kiddos. I cannot say enough great things about PIM and I highly recommend them.

They're awesome and very patient with the kids! My 4yo has been attending classes here for about 2 years now and absolutely loves it and all her teachers!

β—‡ They offer classes for boys and girls starting at 8 weeks old all the way up through adult, including movement focused classes for babies, gymnastics for all ages (even adult clinics!), ninja classes for ages 4 1/2+, freestyle tumbling for 6+, cheerleading classes/clinics for 6+. They even offer the opportunity for competition, with a girls gymnastics team, a boys gymnastics team, and a competitive cheer team!

Β€ They also offer a wide variety of dance classes. They have preschool classes for ages 2-5, recreational classes for 6+ that teach basics to advanced skills and techniques, along with singularly focused ballet (7+), modern (8+), little hoppers (hip hop for 5-7), and hip hop (7+) classes, and even classes for 18+ in modern dance, ballet/tap, and tap/jazz.

β™‘ On top of all of this, they constantly have all sorts of events, like kid's night out, open gym (for all ages, just for toddlers, and sensory open gym for special needs children), birthday parties, and field trips! Anyone can join these events, with or without a membership, although most require preregistration and fees differ for non-members.

β˜† They are currently in the process of remodeling the bathrooms and expanding the gym, the viewing area, and the parking lot. Things are only getting bigger and better!

We have lived in quite a few major cities in the United States and beyond and we always make a point to put our kids in gymnastics at the best local gym we can find. In fact, I am the type of parent that tries all the extra-curricular programs I can find for my kids! 🀣 Power in Motion has been extremely impressive compared to our typical extra-curricular experiences for the following reasons:

* Individual attention: the caring teachers carefully track the progress of each child. They communicate weekly progress to parents when they can find you after class. Kids are truly coached and taught one-on-one, rather than casually as a group. Milestones are recognized. The kids truly make real progress!! All the teachers are kind and encouraging-very caring! Kids do not slip through the cracks-not even quiet ones.

* Lesson Quality: weekly classes are planned out to the smallest detail with such an amazing variety of skill work, activities, and equipment. There is never boring downtime. Time is not wasted. You get such terrific value for what you are paying for! Kids have a ton of fun while truly getting stronger and more coordinated.

* Inclusion: There is something for everyone at this gym-even for dancers, babies, and adults! With great popularity the classes fill up; but then they continue to expand the gym to allow more children opportunities to join!

* Best facility: super clean and well-cared for. Beautiful design.

* Inventiveness- love that the owners are creative by adding such things as a huge indoor slide and mini foam pit for the toddlers.

*Safe- children’s safety is clearly kept top priority.

* Organized: all of the policies, communications, and routines are well thought out and run smoothly.

In summary, Power in Motion is a phenomenal gift to southwest Michigan and even beyond. In a community so focused on developing children-this is a remarkable gem that you might only dream to see in a very large city. The owners are amazing people and heroes for translating a vision into reality so far and above what we could hope for to benefit our children in this area. My kids have gained a ton of self-confidence because they believe in and support every child. So thankful and lucky to be part of the Power in Motion community! Thank you all!

Owner is a rude person. She treats her coworkers like dirt and it shows the turn over rate there is ridiculous. The environment should be for learning the fundamentals of gymnastics and having fun but instead it is tense for everyone. Bad for business!
