WAY too much effort trying to even contact someone to give them my business! No phone call or email back after 5 different attempts and voicemail left. Ended up going to Anytime Fitness in Haslett. The lady there is very friendly, professional and actually calls me back.

Save yourself time and go to ANYTIME FITNESS in Haslett.

P.s…I almost never write reviews. But I am a huge fitness supporter and am VERY disappointed in how Snap Fitness in Haslett is handling business/customer relations. It is sad to see.

Literally impossible to cancel. Called and left numerous messages with no reply. Been trying to cancel for almost a year. This wasn't even our actual "home gym", my wife just worked out here at lunch a few times and they "adopted us". Honestly a terrible experience.

Facility isnt to bad but I cant say the same for whoever handles the accounts and does customer service. They told me how to stop my membership and then didnt respond or stop my payments when they were suppose to. Not even an apology, they just continue to ignore communication attempts.

Try Anytime Fitness. Way better than this hole. I have been trying gyms in the area, and this is by far the worst.

The good: Loved the location as it was super close to home, and open 24/7. Rarely did I have to wait for equipment, even if at what seemed to be busy times.

The okay: difficult to get in touch with staff.

The bad: After being a multi-year customer I tried to contact them by email since I couldn't find staff at the gym ever. I contacted them saying I wanted to end my membership before their required date to not get charged the next month. I didn't get a response (I believed I emailed again, but it's been a minute so I'd have to check, but at least one email before the required date). After the required date, I left a written note saying "I emailed you by the date, but I never heard back". They said they'd charge me the next month, but then I'd be free from future charges. I forwarded them the mail from earlier, but no response, no refund. My rating would have been four stars except for this sad ending.

The owner and his employees are very kind and understanding. As a military veteran they let me have my Snap Fitness access card early even though I had already ordered the 30 day free trial card to come in the mail. One of the nice things about this SF is that they have one bicycle machine with a USB plug that works at charging your phone only if you're riding it. Really motivates you to maintain your phone charge! I highly recommend this location.

I know they are in the process of remodeling currently and if this isn't valid when complete, I will update. Right now, they need about twice the room to just be sufficient. the equipment is very tightly packed and many times, this place is quite full. Constantly having to side step to get around just isn't sufficient or safe. I will say though, the equipment tends to be in good working order and I really enjoy having the industrial fan for the treadmills. I wish my normal location had that. Hopefully the remodel will make this review obsolete.
