I'm cancelling my membership and now going to a gym in Lowell. Everytime I walked in, it smelled so strongly of marijuana. I understand it being legal, but can't stand the aroma. I just wanted a nice comfortable place to work out. It is what it I.

Worst customer experience I have ever dealt with.

My wife and I moved to Seattle in July, I tried to call and cancel my membership, but they force you to do this in person. This was impossible due to being 2500 miles away. The person who answered the phone was unhelpful and didn't seem to know what he was doing.

4 months later after no contact from SNAP of Ionia I receive a letter from debt collections where it shows a debt of 100s of dollars because they were racking up my membership fee while I was living in WA, despite my attempt at canceling.

Stay away unless you are planning a life long commitment. They make it nearly impossible to cancel.

This is a very nice gym with a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. When I say clean seriously the owner has OCD and is constantly mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning the restrooms all the time! The prices are fair and the equipment is state of the art.

Stay away from here! They customer service is poor, and they do not return phone calls when you try to cancel. They will keep charging you monthly even after you finally get your membership canceled. The doors are always locked and their “front desk” is run by a 12 year old who can’t do anything. It also is always freezing cold and the funk that comes from the place is awful.

Wish i could give zero stars. Theres not enough equipment to go around, on multiple occasions couldn't use any weights because 1 or 2 people were using them! Thats how little plates they have one guy squatting takes up all the weights. Place is an oven in the summer and a ice box in the winter. Not to mention the owner is always charging peoples credit cards extra for dumb stuff like cleaning fees and bringing guest and he'll keep charging your accounts after your membership is up definitely will be taking my business elsewhere. Zero stars.

Gym sucks, very depressing atmosphere. If you like working out to elavator music to.also Turn the HEAT up past 65 degrees ! That's to cold in the winter months! Members pay good money the gym should be at a comfortable temparure.

I joined SNAP because of a personal trainer. He was excellent. However, I would never join again. I had to put my membership on hold because I wasn't working and couldn't afford it anymore. In the meantime the personal trainer I had left. I went to SNAP twice to close my membership. The first time was right after taking it off hold. They told me I could not close it when it had been hold. That was a bummer but okay, it's the rules. I went back the next month and they told me I would have to wait 30 days. Why didn't they tell me that the first time I was up there and have me fill out the paperwork then. That means I have paid two months for something that wasn't used nor could I afford. I closed my charge card they were debiting and now they have turned it over to collections, which is no big deal to me. If they truly cared about their members, they would have had me fill out the paperwork to close my membership the first time I was in there.

I absolutely love this gym. The trainers are very welcoming and friendly always. Not sure what these people are referring to, I have been a member since they opened and have nothing bad to say about any of them. Granted I wish it were a little bigger but as far as customer service, it is great. It is a clean facility and does have proper towels and disinfectant to wipe down all equipment when finished. It is a very friendly and enjoyable place to go. They also have different classes and weight loss challenges to join and u don't have to be a member to join them. Great place!

My son experienced very rude customer service here.. Just because this is the only gym in a 25 mile radius doesn't mean you have to be rude, neither me or my son will ever join this gym 👎 My son and I will just keep our membership at planet fitness in GR 😊
