Musa Hammad really helped me out when I went in for my free trial, he was respectful and really helpful getting me all ready to go. The gym itself was very nice and clean with a lot of new equipment. I would love to come back here and get a membership started because of the great customer service and cleanliness.

I stopped by Snap Fitness on Lake Michigan Drive to check out memberships and was helped by Musa, the manager. He was super helpful, respectful, and easy to talk to — really took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect membership fit for my schedule and goals. I used to be a member here but stopped coming for a while. After recently returning, I was so impressed with the improvements. The gym has new equipment and the whole space feels much cleaner and better maintained. I also had a problem with my key card not working, and the owner was incredibly helpful, going out of their way to get it sorted for me. If you're looking for a 24-hour gym with easy access and a fantastic owner, this is the place to be!

The best Snap Fitness in Grand Rapids. Has 2 full cross over cable sets, 2 squat/bench racks plus a Smith machine. Full dumbell sets 5-100lbs. Various other machines and cardio equipment. Gym is always clean and usually not too busy.

I accidentally called this location instead of the Michigan St. location and was greeted on the phone with an incredible amount of disrespect from the owner, Mark. He was rude, short, and didn’t let me speak. I understand I called the wrong location but to talk to anyone like that when they are asking a question is appalling. I really hope the owner of this franchise doesn’t talk to members he encounters like this. I have never been talked to like this before from asking a simple question politely. I’m very glad to be canceling from this franchise. Would not recommend.

Just started going to this one over my lunch break. Haven't met any staff yet, but the facility is unique in a good way. Aar first glance it looks like a smaller, cramped place. But it has four rooms - a very large space for free weights and stretches. It has four restrooms as well, which is a huge plus compared to other Snaps nearby.

I wish there were more drinking fountains, but that is a very minor complaint.

The gym has recently come under new ownership and the owner is doing a great job reimagining this gym and what is should be. He's bought new equipment, and reconstructed the gym so that it appeals to those just beginning their fitness lifestyle and those who are years into their program. What has impressed me most is that he's looking for ways to continue to improve and is asking his customers what they want. I highly recommend this gym - it's easy to get in and out, and has almost everything you could want at the right price.

Sadly if you live in the North Grand Rapids/Walker area this gym and Family Fitness are your only real options for gym. Family Fitness will try to force you into a 2-3 year contract with gigantic cancellation fees. These guys at snap have a resonable fee with no contract however in the 6 months i went to the gym I paid an excess of 200 dollars extra for random things that they were doing with the gym they needed help with. When they have your credit card on file they can and will charge you whatever they want to charge you.

I've used mostly this location for about 3 years. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The equipment is kept in good working order and there's sufficient variety to keep me from getting bored. As some reviews have mentioned, it's a rather small gym and the cardio equipment in particular tends to be crowded together, but I've never found that to be a problem. I've considered switching to the Y, but the monthly fee at Snap is much less, so the value has kept me there.
