My daughter just had her 9th birthday here, for the cost of the unlimited party it is not worth it. Only one parent is allowed to be on the gym floor to take pictures. Only parents of children under 3 are allowed to step on the gym floor. We have done gymnastics parties at other facilities which were more accommodating. There is one front desk person and one person working the party for 25 kids and under. The coach did not help with any setting up, they did not guide on a timeline of when we should do cake or open presents. When we arrived into the party room she did not help me pass out pizza or provide any gloves until 3/4 of the way through of passing items out. Her focus was on making sure the equipment in the gym was clean and in place after we arrived in the room when it should have been assisting the in the party room. Once people started to leave even prior to our 5 pm party end time she started to remove tablecloths off the tables, while guests were still there. We even cleaned up our own decorations, which I am not used to doing at places like pump it up or American gymnastics. It is discouraging to pay that much and be provided with very minimal assistance. I will definately not be booking again and am thankful for the mom friends who were able to help assist making my daughters birthday a smoother process. There is also a strong odor smell in the gym which is a bit off putting. I did speak with Chantel during my
Follow up call to see how the party went and then did hear from Alyssa via email who basically said sorry for my poor experience and that they would look into my feedback.

Edit to add: the two times the gymnastics employee did help were the times we had specifically asked for help with passing out pizza and cake. This did not use to be the norm as I have been to a party here hosted by a family member in the first few years of the gym opening and the experience was night and day difference.

One star is for our coach Mikayla. She was wonderful.
I intended to try a month of classes for my 3 year old, and unknowingly signed onto a monthly contract which is a pain to get out of. If you sign on May 20th, you pay for an entire month of classes, even though you only attend one. There are "make up tokens" that are added to the account... that vanish if you drop the monthly enrollment. So my daughter and I attended 4 classes (1 month) and paid for 3, but since some of the classes attended were May and some were June, we can only recieve a refund for July, 6 weeks after we attended our last class. This should all be EXPLICIT on the class webpage, not within a terms and conditions statement. ORRR just omit the online registration and make new clients sign on with a representative. The woman I spoke to said they do not give refunds, so even giving me a refund for one month, when i paid for three and attended one, is generous. Just really strange policies, customer service reps are kind but the policies they are forced to uphold are strange.

Our kids attended a birthday party at this location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The coach was always with the kids helping them out with the equipments and instructing them to keep them to use it safely.
The party room was neat, well lit and very spacious. It had sufficient seating arrangement and was easy to access from the play area. Also, on the outside, there is ample parking space for the visitors.
Overall, very highly recommend this place for the gymnastics and the birthday parties

This is for the sterling heights location. The gym smells absolutely terrible. They really need to do something about the stench. It smells like dirty socks and it can't be sanitary. Also, the air freshner scent to cover up the smell is overwhelming. My recommendation is to refresh the carpets/mats or possibly add windows for fresh air circulation.

The staff are nice, and the skills some of these children have are wonderful. So clearly it's a place where children are learning new skills.

Great place for open play for toddler time! I have 3 toddlers and its way easier to interact and engage them compared to play places with crawling tubes and cramped obstacles! If you have more than one kiddo who likes attention I would recommend sterling gymnastics as a better option.

For busy parents like myself the process of enrolling was super easy and the staff were super professional. My daughter is extremely shy, but wanted to try gymnastics. She's cried at the beginning of a couple of sessions. The coaches are so great!! Enrolled my son in a class after attending a Halloween party the year before last. The class options were plentiful and they offered an all boys class which my son requested. After attending only one class, my son was upset the class had to end and has been begging me to go EVERYDAY! The facility is also very well equipped! They closed for Covid and charged me anyways.. they told me that they would refund the money for the classes if I didn’t want my daughter to take anymore classes but they charged me and refused to refund me the money. Their customer service is horrible and rude.. I didn’t care about the money as much as I cared about their way of dealing with people and lying about their service agreement. They charged me $50 extra for a class that my daughter never attended..

Just saw the story on Fox 2. Many people and businesses including myself and many others I know in this situation due to the governors lack of leadership. As for a date, November 4th, that’s when it will all be over, it’s all political. This governor is letting her people suffer while she vacations in Traverse City, and tells her residents to stay away. Happening in many blue states. We are all smart, and we take risks everyday, this one we can put more precautions in place than any other instance, but it doesn’t matter, it’s political. We have been customers here for several years. My son took three different rec classes here and he loved them all. Every coach he had was knowledgeable and attentive. both my kids have gone here for over a year. the price is affordable & the coaches are well trained. Their patience with the kids is always appreciated. The desk staff greets us every time we walk in & always friendly. my 4yr old adores going & my 1yr old and i do the "mommy and me" toddler class which is always a blast! The facility in itself is well cleaned & offers plenty of seats and tables for the parents and children to do homework & the free wifi is nice as well. Didn't really love the staff at the front desk. I found them to be a little argumentative and not very helpful or accommodating with customers who had concerns. I watched one of the ladies at the desk argue with a customer.
They charge a registration fee of $50 an hold 9 week classes.
I am now using Olympia Gymnastics Academy who don't charge a registration fee and charge a little less for their classes which are 10 weeks long. I'm getting more for my money.

My son is on the autism spectrum and did not have a good experience at this place. He suffered anxiety and meltdowns. After only 2 classes, I requested a refund and they denied that to me. It is very sad that an establishment that is supposed to deal with children are not sensitive to all children.

In my opinion ,We took our daughter there almost as soon as they opened the door for business. The first year was fantastic and my daughter excelled and grew wonderfully. After that it was basically downhill , the gym grew and they drove prices up. Promises of fundraising were basically lies all together or empty promises met with jokes for attempts, even going as far as disallowing very viable fundraising offers we personally came up with. They increased training times and dues continually until the point where you can't afford to send your child there .Barring my daughter from the gym while making agreed payments and still charging for training she would never receive. They barred my daughter from training when our payments were late knowing we were a family operating a small business with a high percentage of customers who pay at 30 day net. Then we were still expected to pay for the missed training she would never receive. So now my daughter's heart is broke because we're too poor for her to be a gymnast anymore.I had no idea going onto this that you had to be wealthy for your child to attend nor did I receive any verbal or written anything saying her tuition and dues would increase exponentially. This review is for those who are smarter than I and look deep into something before waging a child's emotions and daily routines on someone else's business format. I'll forever regret walking into that place and I'm currently working 7 nights and 7 days a week running my own business and working a day job to try and get my poor baby back to what she loves. If I were you and your an average blue-collar family pick another gym or pick another activity for your child.

I love this gym! My daughter has been attending SGA for about three months and loved it! It's bright, inviting and the staff know the students. The only thing I don't like is that (with the exception of the competitive team) everyone gets a trophy at the meets. I don't think today's kids understand losing. I want my daughter to understand she has to work hard to earn a trophy not just because I paid for it. The owners invest their heart and soul into the classes and the consistency and rigor of the instruction shows.

I had my children's birthday party here last weekend and it was fabulous. Charlie, was such an asset to the party. He helped the kids on the equipment, organized them during gift opening and even helped serve the cake and ice cream. The other staff was equally helpful! They were warm, friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend this place 10 times over. Not only are the customer friendly, but there facility is clean, spacious and VERY kid friendly.

I can't say enough good things about this gym. Beside the fact that it's new and clean the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We have been here for open gym as well as a birthday party and everytime we go, the kids can't wait to go back. Charlie is really amazing with the kids and all the front office staff is excellent.
