This is truly the best swimming academy! 🌊 The way they teach is incredibly respectful toward the little ones. The quality of their classes stands out in how they speak to the children, explain techniques clearly, and make every lesson both fun and engaging. We’ve tried several swimming schools before, but none have come close to the experience here. Our daughter is always excited to learn more each week. The consistent communication with parents, by keeping us updated on our kids’ progress, id the most accurate and thoughtful system we’ve seen to understand their development. We absolutely love this place and its wonderful staff! 💙

I am so thankful that we found The Hocken Family Swim Academy! Both of my boys have ADHD and would not have the social skills required to participate in one of the big-box swim schools. Ms. Cassie met both of my boys where they were at both in swimming skills and emotionally. Thanks to the care and emotional investment she made in my children, they can now confidently keep themselves safe when we are at the lake - and that peace of mind is priceless!

We love Hocken Family Swim Academy so much! They are fun, caring and flexible! Coach creates and closely follows a training plan, which helps us to know where we are with our swimming skills. Absolutely recommend to any parent who wants their kid to learn how to swim.

I highly and highly recommend The Hocken Family Swim Academy. My boys started because my older one joined middle school swim team. Whom stopped swimming for many years since Kindergarten. Ms. Holly is working with my older one and did a fantastic job and helped my boy to cut 10 secs. Less on freestyle in every meet. Ms. Cassie is working with my younger one and he will be joining middle school swimming team next year, and we are already so excited about it. I can tell how much they both love their students and teaching them. Such a great team with wonderful hearts. Zero negative about this swim academy 🫶

Highly recommended. We can not thank enough Cassie for helping my daughter in swim skills enhancement. Cassie is so much dedicated towards her mentoring goal and always provided very detailed feedback after each class which was really helpful for my daughter. I cannot say enough amazing things about Cassie and her teaching style. She is so patient and great with kids. She doesn’t force them to do anything they aren’t ready to do. I love how small the class sizes are. She is able to focus on each student and tailors her style to fit their needs. I absolutely prefer her to the big swim schools nearby. She also has a new teacher joining her, Holly, who is equally amazing. I highly recommend Hocken Family Swim Academy!

Hands down the best swim school out there. We have a child with autism who really wasn't given a fair chance at the big box swim schools. Ms. Cassie is like no other instructor. She is patient, kind, she tailors lessons to meet the child where they are. She is always happy and positive and my non verbal child is so much more confident in the water since working with her. Highly recommend their swim school!

Instructor Cassie Hocken was absolutely amazing! She taught my 5-year-old daughter how to float and coordinate all her body parts while swimming. Now, my little one feels much more confident while kicking and moving forward in the pool!

I am so thankful we found Hockens Family Swim Academy! I was looking for something closer to our home, and more personalized. We had tried some of the larger “swim companies” thinking they may be good. We were so wrong! I was recommended HFS Academy by a patient and I am so thankful we did! Cassie and Josh are amazing, very prompt communication, professional and didn’t force us to pay for classes until we tried one class to make sure the kids felt comfortable with Cassie. We are so thankful for her skills and knowledge, and I’m so happy with how my two boys gravitated to her and built that trust almost immediately which never happens with my boys. I’ve seen more progress in ONE visit than multiple with other places. To anyone looking for a FAMILY owned and operated business who is truly invested into your child’s best interest and growth, you won’t be disappointed! Affordable, local, professional and so nice!!!!
