TwyFit is an amazing place - calling it a gym doesn’t feel like enough! I’ve been going here for so long and absolutely love it! Started personal training with Ally then transitioned to a Girls that Curl team and now back to personal training for more specific support with some health issues. The facility is clean and well kept. Every person there is top notch - they listen to your needs and goals, push you without being too pushy and are just all around great people. I’ve trained with Ally since day one and most recently started training with Liz, who has been awesome to work with! Liz is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely supportive! If you are looking for a good, personalized workout in a welcoming environment, TwyFit is your place!

I have been working out with Keith Lewiston for over a year. My twice a week sessions are focused on functional strength training and ergonomics. Keith really pays attention to how you are feeling on the day and will adapt on the spot to what you need with modifications. He has also helped me track my macros for overall muscle maintenance. You will learn proper form for lifting to get the most benefit from every workout! He is always making sure that am safe no matter how much I am lifting. I’ve been training with Mike at Twyfit for over a couple months now and I just can’t get enough of it! It’s awesome having a coach like Mike to motivate me to get the absolute maximum effort possible out of every workout. I've been working out twice a week 1:1 with Mike for 8 months now. It doesn't break the bank and he will design programs specific to your requests. He's big on proper technique, with 30 years of lifting experience, can help you with nutrition and is all around a good guy. The gym is always super clean and quiet (for 1:1s) but I know they also offer group training that can be more cost effective is that's the route you choose.

I would recommend this to anyone that asks, it's a nice complement to my other gym membership as 'homework'

As someone who never worked out before and was intimidated by larger gyms, the girls that curl class was the perfect place to start. The small group classes are the best way to get 1:1 help in a relaxed, one hour, all-girls environment. Amanda is a great trainer and helps to cater each workout to everyone's level of fitness and age. If you're like me and have been thinking about it for a long time, definitely give it a try! I never stick with any workout program and have really enjoyed my experience at Twyfit for 4+ months now!

Walking into a gym for the first time is intimidating. Making that walk after you've failed time and again at gyms is even more difficult. Michael Twydell made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped in. He explained the different services he offered and worked with me to make a plan. My personal trainer is the amazing Keith. During our first session, he took note of physical limitations that have plagued me since having back surgery. He didn't bat an eye, just launched in to the strength training. I've spent 30 years in the customer service industry and I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to taking care of your client. TwyFit sets the gold standard in client care. Keith shows up to every single session with enthusiasm, encouragement, and an energy that makes ME want to do better, to be better.

Mike is awesome, not only is he a personal trainer but a friend and educator to all! I highly suggest this practice as Mike has exceeded expectations, provided proper correction to my form while doing the personalized work outs created for me, answered all my questions about nutrition and the added bonus is that he has been doing personal training for over 20 years! I am 65 and in good health, but had major muscle atrophy on my body's left side from an auto accident in 1974. I wish I had found Twyfit earlier. I've been working with Mike for 4 months now and it has been a game changer for me. I'm looking and feeling more balanced, increased muscle mass and strength. I am a person who historically starts an exercise program but doesn't stick with it. The TwyFit Girls that Curl is the only program I've stuck with. I heard about the Girls that Curl training program a few years ago and decided to finally give it a try. I am 10 months post-partum and needed to do something healthy for myself. Joining Twyfit has been amazing! Everyone is so friendly and the program is at a convenient time so I don't have to worry about child care. Allie is my trainer and she is the best! I've been a Girls That Curl member for the past eight weeks. I'm amazed at the changes in my body in such a short time. I've lost inches off my waist and hips, and I no longer have the saggy, jiggly upper arm flab. My stamina had improved and I feel energized.

Taline is my trainer and I couldn't be happier. She is such a positive influence, and is the team's biggest cheerleader. She pushes us to be our best. And it's not just Taline. All of the trainers treat each gym member with respect and encouragement.

To sum up: it's a small gym with lots of personal attention from excellent staff. If you're scared to join a gym because of large classes or judgment from others, give TwyFit a try. You won't be disappointed!

I started attending the group fitness classes to add some fun cardio to my fitness routine. Kristen is a wonderful, energetic Zumba instructor, always smiling and encouraging everyone to work at their ability and have fun. I also have worked with Mike on individual training to help me tone and motivate myself with strength training. I've been pleased with my results and appreciate that Mike listens to any concerns and works with me on my goals. After moving to the Madison Heights area from Brighton I had been looking for a new gym that was similar to one I left. I found TwyFit and it reminded me of all the things I loved at my old gym.

I have been working with Mike for the past few weeks and I can feel myself getting stronger! He definitely pushes me and gives a great workout every time.
