Don't think I'll ever return maybe if they get some friendly people to work the desk. Was there for a round and was rushed off the course by the guy working even though we weren't the last ones out. The sprinklers were then turned on soaking us as we were packing up. He also had some smug comment to make about how we were ruining his weekend.

This is a hard one for me. I'll start with the good. The course is beautiful. Nice layout, lots of elevation changes. Well maintained greens and tee boxes. Fantastic new carts, with comfortable seats. I've played this course at least 5 to 6 times at this point, and I'd say enjoyment/frustration is probably 50/50. My most recent visit was with my wife. We were scrambling, just spending time together and having fun. It took us 4 and a half hours. Our tee time was at 5:07 I believe, and we couldn't see to finish our last hole. Who's fault is this? I'm not sure if others are oblivious to how slow they play and dont know to let others pass, or if the course is being over booked. We paid $90 on a weekday, for the two of us. I appreciate getting us out on the back nine, behind a league, I knew that would be slow. Only to make the turn to the front 9 and be behind a bunch of twilight groups, including people hole jumping.
This problem is solved with a ranger, or just telling us that no tee times were available until twilight.
Another experience, I was in a group of 3. We were paired up with a single. It was so backed up on the front that the four of us decided to scramble as well so that we were all hanging out while we were waiting to hit. We had nobody behind us on the back, and a kid from the course came out to tell us that we had to pick it up. Get this, because the group in front of us already finished the hole.
The reasons I've disliked half of my experiences here are completely avoidable. I want to love this course, its beautiful and fun to play. The young men working outside were very friendly during my last visit.

Extremely long wait times, poor upkeep and relative lack of understanding of how to operate a golf course is very clear from the moment you get to Tyrone Hills.Rocky driving area and wet and over flowed If you come to play 18 make sure you have over 6 hours of time. Range drives around for I’m not to sure what. Doesn’t help with th pace of play at all

I love playing this course. It is a decent course at a fair rate, especially on Monday’s. However, they let people go off the back when making the turn and it slows everything way down. Also, there maintenance crews have no respect for people on the course. If this place was better managed it would be a phenomenal place to play.

Update: I am playing twilight on 8/8/23… it has taken me over 45 minutes to play 3 holes. I am currently waiting to hit off on the 4th with no end in sight… is there any rangers out there? Who is helping people to keep pace. So far, not worth the $25 twilight price.

I have been golfing here for over 40 years. The pro Dennis taught me how to golf and gave me a lifelong love of a sport.

The course is always in impeccable condition. It's both challenging and forgiving at the same time.

Set in a beautiful rolling countryside with water features and well placed sand features.

For an everyday course that doesn't gouge on price and has and amazingly friendly and helpful l staff you really cannot do any better

Do yourself a favor and come out and play a round!

Pretty good looking course. I can only speak for the front 9. I didn't get to tee off until about 20 minutes beyond my tee time them I waiting another 10-15 minutes one the next 3 holes. Too dark to play more by the time I got to 10. They cared more about making a few extra bucks than giving giving a good experience.

Course was nice, but not worth the price IMO. Course design was pretty straight with decent fairways, golf carts are also pretty nice compared to other courses. Besides that, the people at the course were very rude. People who play here have some expectation that this is a PGA Championship and complain to the Pro Shop if they feel you are slightly going too slow, just to wait wait behind some other group ahead of you. Pro shop endorses this type of behavior and has no intention of making your experience memorable for the price you do pay. It’s a nice course with the masters merchandise inside the pro shop but some of the workers, members, and normal players make you feel out of place and do so proudly.

Golf course has a league on a Friday night. Which normally would not be an issue if they knew how to manage it. The marshal drove two carts of players out to the 11th tee box where I was teeing off and was talking, driving in circles. No respect. Then when the marshal leaves he proceeds to drive right up the middle of the fairway while we are waiting to tee off. The whole course was constantly backed up and was not managed on a timely manner to ensure play was moving. We finally made it to the last 3 holes and fine out while the course is backed up. There was a group of 8! EIGHT playing together. This is a very poorly managed course. Don’t get me wrong the course is beautiful but if you are going to charge $37 dollars for play you better have people on the course playing in a timely manner and not having your marshal driving around me while I am teeing off. Nor down the fairway while I am waiting to tee off.
1st time here and will NEVER return!

The course is wide open for a large number of holes. Fairways and greens in good condition, but rough was bone dry. Pace of play was VERY slow - 5.5+ hrs to play 18 for 2 players. Refreshment cart came around frequently. They didn't wear masks (including club pro) in pro shop, even though required by governor's order. Carts were pressure washed between rounds - don't know if some additional sanitizing agent was added when pressure washing or not. I think there are better courses in the area at similar prices.
