A Truly Exceptional Karate School!

We have been so fortunate to be a part of this karate school, and I can't say enough about how amazing the karate master (Master Norton) is. His patience, kindness, and genuine care for every student, especially the children, are truly remarkable. He takes the time to connect with each child, guiding them with respect and understanding, which has created a welcoming and positive atmosphere at the school.

Both of my sons have grown so much under his instruction. They've not only developed strength, both physically and mentally, but they've also learned the importance of discipline, focus, and perseverance. It's been incredible to see them grow in confidence and character.

This school has been such a blessing to our family, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where their children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are so grateful for the positive impact it has had on our lives!

My daughter started here in February of 2024 and has really enjoyed her training with Master Norton. They offer a 30 day trial program for about $60 that includes the cost of a uniform for students to try before committing to one of their monthly, yearly, or 4 year memberships.
The classes are very accommodating for all schedules and the class times are staggered so you can attend different sessions based on your availability Monday through Saturday. In addition to Master Norton there are several Black Belts that assist with the classes and work with the students to learn their forms, sparring, board breaking, and more. Parents can stay for classes and watch what their students are learning. It’s a great center that makes students of all ages and abilities feel welcome.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! My son attended WCIMA Madison Heights for 3 months. In that time he grew so much. Master Norton is great with kids of all ages (especially our 4 year old). He was patient and fun but still taught discipline. We moved out of the area and are no longer able to attend, and we are severely disappointed with our new options for karate. Nothing lives up the the welcome and instruction we received from Master Norton. Best place to take your children!

I’m Zarek, I’ve been practicing here for a really long while (6-7 years) and I like going to this place because it’s fun and I’ve learned so much from master norton, not only does it have karate, it has Get fit, sparring, weapons, summer camp, and tournaments (with medals) and you can make many new friends there, my instructor works very hard to ensure everyone learns something at the end of class everyday. I’ve recommended this place to my friends and they like it, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn karate.i wouldn’t go anywhere else,this place is the best.🙏👌👍

Wonderful karate school. Very family friendly - both the instructor and the curriculum. Positive reinforcement. Focus on commitment, working hard, personal responsibility, physical fitness (obviously), and having fun. Lots of schedule options. Great support for larger events from their parent school in Livonia. My kids have learned a lot and had a blast!

Very family friendly. All levels, all ages. Even Cardio-kickboxing, summer camp, tournament training, self defense. Tiny Tigers, Little Dragons, basic Training, Tang Soo Do. Excellent life skills for adolescents that will take with them through life, something they can never lose. 🇺🇸🙏🏻🇰🇷
