I've been going to 57fit for almost two years now. In that time, I've gone from feeling like I don't belong in a gym to feeling like it's one of my favorite places to be. Marcus makes working out fun and challenging. He has helped me prepare for, and recover from, a hip replacement and a knee replacement. I couldn't have done it without him! Give 57fit a try. You'll love the community, support, and fun!

Commitment: Marcus is all around a fantastic coach. His approach is very much focused on moving forward and getting stronger with purpose and not pressure! He is committed to seeing each of his clients become a stronger version of themselves from the ground up. Marcus emphasizes that form is always number one!

Community: Here at 57Fit we are a community. I love the semi-private sessions as it gives me a chance to work on a personalized session but also I get to connect, cheer, and witness other's growth as well.

Connection: Marcus is really good at helping connect the dots when it comes to making lifestyle changes to align with fitness goals. I seeing the results and I love it! I am much stronger (mentally and physically) and feel more confident now than 3 months ago. I have been working on nutrition in order to see continued growth in and outside of the gym.

[Side note]: Marcus was my trainer back in 2016. When I moved, I never could find a trainer as supportive and knowledgeable as Marcus. When I got back to Minneapolis, getting into the doors of 57Fit was one of my top priorities.

Highly recommend Marcus and the 57 Fit experience. Marcus is a great trainer––extremely thoughtful when it comes to developing a deep understanding of your goals and your abilities and then using that understanding to program workouts that are genuinely challenging and rewarding. Before working with Marcus, I was intimidated by the idea of lifting. I didn't know where to start. Working out at 57fit has completely changed how I approach fitness. I started working out with the group fitness program, but once I got comfortable with the space I transitioned to the online coaching program. Marcus does an excellent job of programming workouts that fit my level of fitness and strength. I've got access to the gym whenever it fits with my schedule, and I check off my progress in the app (which has videos and helpful hints). I've been working out at 57fit for almost 2 years now, and now I am comfortable doing all manner of barbell movements. This kind of strength training is something I'd never done before! It's had a very positive impact on my health.

I have been with 57fit since 2019. Throughout my time with 57fit I have increased my confidence, knowledge, strength, and overall health and wellness.
I am currently 31 weeks pregnant with twins. I have been able to continue my work outs with 57fit since the beginning of my pregnancy. 57fit has made accommodations to make work outs based on each trimester as well as any doctor requests. I have felt an overwhelming amount of support and encouragement during this time. I've been working out with Marcus since 2020. The Covid pandemic foiled my Ironman training and it was hard for me to get motivated again. I recently got back into working out after having my son and Marcus has been a tremendous help. I have been doing his virtual at home workouts and they have been a lifesaver. His demo videos guide me and I rarely have questions. The app is also super easy to access and use. It is nice to have the option to workout from home while maintaining the workout intensity. Marcus has also created a workout regime for me that takes into consideration my new mommy body and abilities. He is legit yall!

I absolutely love working with Marcus. He has created such a warm and welcoming workout community, so much so that folks introduce themselves and remember names. Marcus is the absolute best! I came to 57Fit with a lot of fear. I had a recurring knee injury that I would re-injure anytime I tried to lift weights. Welp, there's a reason Marcus has a five-star rating. Marcus creates a safe, welcoming, fun, and motivating space to meet your goals and reach your potential. I've been working out at 57Fit for about 7 months, and I can confidently say I'm never leaving. Marcus is hands down the best trainer I've ever had! I've done personal training, small group fitness, and many other training programs over the years, but nothing can compare to the results I've had at 57fit. Marcus curates specific workouts to help you crush your goals, and will push you to your highest potential. I’ve been working out with Marcus for years now off and on. Something tragic in my life happened and I had to take care of my mental health. Marcus was sad to see me go but supportive because he believes mental health comes FIRST. (I totally agree)

When I first had my consultation with Marcus I had all of these goals for my body. I want a bigger butt and I want my stomach to be smaller, etc. Blah Blah Blah. I lost almost 70 pounds while working out with Marcus. During that time I learned how to love myself again. I learned to love my body. I learned to care about the things I put inside of my body. I learned to be happy again.

Honestly I didn’t know the first thing about losing weight or being healthy because the background I come from we eat “soul food.” Marcus taught me more then any Nutritionist could ever. We learned things together. As I learned new things, I taught him because at that time I was considered “diabetic.” Marcus took the time to actually teach me. Not only teach me workouts, he taught me different eating habits, etc.

The 57Fit community is family for me. We are all different sizes, shapes, shades, etc. We all have different goals but we all support each other no matter the goal. We cheer each other on. We stick together because every day isn’t easy, (especially working out with Marcus). None of us are perfect & we don’t want to be either. Our goal is to be healthy. That may mean something different for each person. In the 57Fit family we are taught to love ourselves, embrace who we are flaws and all. There is NEVER any judgement. We welcome everyone with open arms.

I truly enjoying working out with the 57Fit family. Seeing the familiar faces all the time. I enjoy the challenging workouts. I enjoy the the amazing results I get when I actually stay consistent and put the work in.

My mom passed away a few years ago at age 45 years old. She wasn’t healthy. She was an obese women with many health problems/issues which comes with the weight. Today my goals are to live longer, to break the family medical health cycle of so many health issues, make a change to be healthier and happier in life. 😁

I recommend 57 FIT to everyone looking for a trainer who customizes workouts to you, while challenging you within your limits. I've been working out with Marcus for the last 8 months and have seen great improvement with my strength, mobility, and endurance. When I first started to work out at 57 FIT I would have to have workout with knee braces, due to weak/strained joints. Now I've gained muscle and have not needed my knee braces. Marcus also customized my trainings to not be high impact on my knees. The other thing that always impresses me about Marcus as a trainer is that there have been clients that have been with him since he started training years ago, which is a testament to who he is as a trainer and individual. It's a 5 out of 5 for me!

I am a grad student and a single parent so my time is very precious. I hadn’t been physically active for about 4 years and wasn’t feeling like myself anymore. I'm a big girl. I pretty much hate working out. I have tried all that diet culture has to offer and all it did was make me miserable. I found 57Fit on Instagram and was intrigued by a gym that was working to be intentionally body positive and also, all the women featured seemed super powerful and like they were enjoying themselves. I followed online for a long time before I got the courage to actually sign up. There are not enough good things to say about 57Fit, Marcus and the community he is building. Marcus somehow simultaneously meets you where you are at and pushes you beyond what you thought you could do - and its empowering. My workouts are intense, are personalized to goals that I set, as well as to my current abilities and there are times Marcus will even adapt mid-workout if modifications are needed. He is honest about what to expect, attentive to each client and their needs with a strong dose of humor and compassion. He also has better music taste than other trainers and that can make or break a workout. Lastly, the community Marcus has built among the folks he trains feels unique and important. I am not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for Marcus because training with him has been really beneficial. First, the best thing about working with Marcus is that he creates a comfortable and fun environment. Because he is so down to earth, during our sessions we usually laugh, lift, and laugh some more; the time just flies by. Marcus is extremely knowledgeable, but makes the complexities of the various exercises very approachable. He creates a custom plan for me, based on my goals and progress; I just have to come in, and follow his lead. In the first few months, I not only lost more weight (and waist sizes) than I expected, but I started to see definition in various (new) part of my body. To be clear, working with Marcus is not a loose-weight quick scheme; he preaches realistic goals, with commitment and consistency. But Marcus meets you were you are, any weight or background, and walk beside your fitness journey. When I came to Marcus, I was also suffering from somewhat pain in my hip and groin, that would constantly flare up when I try to play sports, even though I was seeing a physical therapist weekly. Marcus paid close attention to my workouts and identified weaknesses in my lower-body that were the culprit, helping me to strengthen them and eliminate the chronic pain. I can now play sports again, but even better than before. If you are considering working with Marcus, you owe it to yourself to pull the trigger.

I have worked with Marcus on and off since 2016 and have always been impressed with his work ethic, ability to tailor workouts to each client's specific needs and goals, and his hunger to know more about his profession. He is always bettering himself by incorporating many different areas of fitness into his training (crossfit, bodybuilding, HIIT training, weightlifting, circuits, etc). I have been working with Marcus for almost 3 years now, and my work with him has been life-changing. With a leg injury that originated from prior poor training techniques and muscular imbalance, I feared I would not be able to run or exercise consistently again. I can’t recommend Marcus Watson & 57 FIT enough whatever your goals might be. He understands where people struggle and will push you at whatever level you’re at. It also helps that many of his other client are great motivators, he works out of a fun gym, and he doesn’t mind if you swear at him or crack a few jokes. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The sense of community that Marcus creates is one of the things that makes him amazing at what he does; we laugh together, we struggle together, we encourage each other, we compete and we become better. He’s extremely talented in adapting the workout to an individual’s needs or helping to rebuild from an injury. I’ve worked with Marcus on and off for more than five years and can’t imagine being on this journey with a different trainer.

I cannot explain how much Marcus has helped me thought my fitness journey and helped me to be a stronger person, both mentally and physically. He makes sure you are working your tail off and having fun. He is an inspiration to his clients and a good friend.
