I worked with Angela to prepare for the OCB Natural Masters Level body building competition. Since this was my first competition, I needed a comprehensive package of support. From nutrition education, lifting and positing strategy and tactics to how to apply the tan. Angela is the ultimate professional. She is knowledgeable in her craft and focused on health and well being while achieving results. Because of the level of transparency required (coaches need your pictures for body comp progress monitoring ++++), it put me at ease to be supported by a woman. Especially because she has competed and won herself.
Now that I am in "off season" we continue to improve my lifting technique and I even brought my 15 yo daughter to start learning good habits early.

I wanted to leave a review of my personal trainer and mobility coach Angela. With Angela's help, I achieved my goals that I had set for myself so many times over and over and over again but did nothing about it. When I was finally mentally ready to reach out to Angela,was when I was at my highest weight that I had ever been. With Angela's help we worked on my nutrition first, she had me download MyFitnessPal, help me plan out what I needed for protein,fats and carbs. I learned how to scan and track my meals that I ate everyday. I would check in with Angela and she would check in with my progress. During this time, Angela wanted me to come to American Strength Training Center, where Angela works, for an assessment. This assessment, was going to show how much I needed to work on my mobility in my knees hips shoulders etc. I thought my mobility was fine. But, I couldn't squat properly or get off the floor properly from a sitting position. I have had a total right knee replacement and I also have a plate and screws in my neck that limits the mobility for range of motion in my neck. During my sessions at the gym with Angela, she talked to me about joining the gym. I was kind of skeptical about joining the gym, but this gym just felt right for me. So I joined so that I could train with Angela a few times a week and then come in on my own to work on the things that we did together during our sessions together. What I loved about working with Angela is the fact that she didn't rush me. We still worked on my mobility the first part of every session and then we went over to the strength training part of my session. Meaning that I started to learn how to lift weights properly with the correct technique so that when I was able to work out on my own and wouldn't get hurt. I truly believe that Angela is one of the most experienced and committed trainers there is. The focus, the knowledge and the commitment she brings to your personal one-on-one session with her is amazing. Her commitment to each and every one of her clients whether it's just for nutrition, or mobility or weight training her commitment is 100% to each and every one of us. My fitness level has increased so so much and I know now that I can do anything. During my journey with Angela for my nutrition she help me lose 50 lb. For my fitness level with Angela, I do not have any more aches and pains in my knees, my back or hips because of the proper technique and the exercises that she had shown me along the way in my journey. Now I may be a little bias, because Angela is my daughter. But when I started working with her I was working with my trainer, nutritionist and fitness coach and I was her client Ann. My husband and I have now since relocated out to Sturgis South Dakota and when Angela and our granddaughter Olivia come to visit we go on hikes that Angela has planned for the three of us. And I have made it to the top of every hike that Angela has ever planned for us and it has been the most rewarding experience of my life! ❤️❤️
