Plenty of space, some specific chest, back and leg equipment topped off with nice monkey bars. This is what AFs should be. This is a 24jour gym here. =)

Maybe I can get a response from the owner on here. My membership is about to renew and I wanted to talk to someone about canceling/changing it. I have called 12 different times and sent 5 emails without no reply. Since this is a privately owned gym, I can only cancel or change my membership through them. They need someone to answer emails and return calls!!

I asked to cancel my membership, but they failed to process the cancellation and eventually sent the balance to collections, which I ended up paying off. Later, I had to start a new membership and was charged $90 for a new key fob. They also increased my monthly rate from $48 (under my original contract that had transitioned to month-to-month) to $60 per month under a new 2-year contract—even though I had already completed my original 2-year term. This experience has been extremely frustrating and feels deceptive. I wouldn’t recommend making this your main gym.

I have been to several AT locations and overall really like the gym and company. This location doesn’t meet up with the quality of AT locations that I’ve come to know. The size is great and the variety of equipment is great too. It’s not my home gym, but in the 1+ years I have been training here nothing has been fixed. It’s not uncommon to find gum on benches that never gets cleaned off. Trash left all over the place. Many of the machines need upkeep. There’s not enough plate weights and you have to go on a scavenger hunt to find any. I honestly think money needs to be invested in this aging gym and that’s the root of the problem. If it was my home gym, I’d be disappointed because I know AT maintains a usually high quality facility. I only train here when I’m at my SO’s house and unfortunately have to use it for convenience.

Warning - the staff here will tell you false and incomplete information to dupe you into a months long contract, and they will not honor the verbal information that they give you. I signed a contract for an 18-month membership because I was told by the employee Laurel Strom that I would have to pay a $50 fee if I wanted to end the 18-month term early. After seeing that the charges for the club was higher than advertised (told $19.99/bi-weekly, was later told that was only if I had specific insurance), I told her I wanted to cancel with the $50 fee. Then she told me that was only for moving or a medical issue, and that I would owe $600. I asked who else I could speak to, and she said only the owners. I asked for their information, and she refused give it. I asked if I could write them a letter for her to pass on, and she said yes. Since that conversation, I have been purposefully avoided by the club staff. They will not answer my calls or emails. The club manager Cody
answered my first call back in January, said he would call
me back, and never did. I got assistance from the MN
Office of the Attorney General, and they told the office they
would reply to me, but they have not. I was duped in both
the cost of the membership and the cancellation terms, and
since then have received no customer assistance with
absolute refusal to communicate with me. This club is not here to provide good services or equipment, nor are they here to serve the community. The cost of the membership is not on par with the space - there are limited machines, some in need of repair, and worn down equipment. They have both poor business ethics and poor customer service.

Cool place, but realize that membership is billed every two weeks (40$ every two weeks for annual membership.) Realize you'll be locked with membership and if you want to cancel, there's a fee. Been stuck here paying every two weeks. Poor customer service response via text outreach.

Great gym! Been coming here 4 years now. Kept super clean, most other members are super friendly and courteous. Staff always friendly, helpful and attentive. It is a great gym that never seems too crowded. I love AF in general because I travel a lot for work and your membership is good for any AF regardless of location. It is a great value. 👍

I been going to every single anytime gym and so far this if my most favorite place to go it’s closer to my house and it’s very clean nice people, the owner there is very nice to the equipment there is goo, this gym is 10/10 for me my go to gym honestly.

This place is a fantastic gym! It's clean, well equipped and perfectly staffed. The music is blaring and the atmosphere is awesome.

My personal trainer Laurel, gives hands on, instant feedback and adjustments during the workouts. She's upbeat, motivating, knowledgeable and encouraging. Being an older man, Laurel trains with age-appropriate workouts that has resulted in my energy levels and body feeling great after each session.

There's also an app that shows all the workouts with pictures and explanatory text, so, when I go in by myself, I have an excellent reference to workout by.

I highly recommend this inspiring gym where you're sure to meet your fitness goals!

Cody and Anna, the mangers/trainers at this location & New Hope, are amazing! They push you to do your best and are always there to encourage you if you need it! I have called multiple times and left multiple voicemails and no returned call ever. I was charged a random extra fee (I’m sure it was nothing out of the norm) but I just wanted to simply clarify what it was for and couldn’t even get through to anyone. Sad that a place like this can even call themselves a business when answering a phone or calling a client back is this hard. Not impressed.

I have been going to this gym for a little over a year and have been working in small group and team trainings for about 6 months now and absolutely LOVE it!!!! The workouts get your blood pumping and muscles growing!! Cody is very positive, motivating, and keeps the workouts fresh and very fun! 🤩 He challenges you but keeps your fitness level in mind and is very quick to offer effective modifications for the tougher exercises to help you build up without risking injuries. I am so glad I rejoined Anytime Fitness. The Crystal location is well maintained, spacious and indoor foot traffic is minimal. With a wide variety of machines, weights and equipment, I know I can maximize my workout every time I walk through the doors. Cody provides a welcoming presence and makes himself available to answer any questions I have.

I can't express my frustrations with this location/franchise enough. After my contract ended, it switched to month to month. I was told I could cancel any time.

Well, that's only if you can get a hold of someone. I've called all of their locations for the last month and they won't pick up the phone or return my call. Yes, I'm calling during their stated business hours.

They continue to take my money. The email address provided is inaccurate. There's no corporate number. The billing service they use (according to the website you're supposed to cancel through them) said they can usually cancel Anytime memberships, but for this particular franchisee they can't.

Great little gym. Owners could step it up on their maintenance game. One barbell significantly bent and hasn't been repaired/removed. Sometimes rolling the dice on which of the bathrooms still has toilet paper, for example.

I been coming to this gym for about 2 months. It’s one of the best anytime fitness that I been to this year. I travel for work so I get to see several gyms a year. From the first day I was impress. It has 4 squat racks which is amazing, the gym is always clean and up to date. Several free weights, equipment is top of the line. Erik and Beth are amazing they are always welcoming every time I go they made me feel like home. If you live around this area you need to visit this gym you will not regret it at all.

Great gym. And the staff is very helpful. Every location has some different equipment. I have been to several. One has a punching bag where I train boxing. Some have the 🔨 strength equip. And some, more cardio. After 30 days your key Fab will open all locations. It's quite an adventure to find the one for you.

There contract is a joke. Signed a 1 year contract and was up front with manager didn't want auto renewal. Never missed a payment and 4 managers later after my contract was up it was put on auto renewal and now there saying I owe them for 3 months that I never used after my contract was up. I've been a member here for a couple years now. This is definitely one of the bigger Anytime Fitness that I've been to. I usually go in the mornings and there is little to no wait time for the equipment. Other members are very friendly who focus on their work out (no riffraffs). Management is great. I brought up that the gym needed a new scale and they got a new upgraded one in a timely maner. I've worked out in various gyms for 10+ years and I have no complaints about this gym. I would recommend to anyone of any level of fitness.

Called this gym to get info. After receiving it I told the man on the phone I wasn't interested due to the length of the contract (12-18 months). He then was patronizing and rude. A more professional way to reply would have been to thank me for the call and then let me know that if I change my mind he would love to show me the gym.

I recently have been able to get to know Matt at the club, and his passion for what he does day in/day out really shows! I've been with Anytime Fitness for a few years now and Matt has made a personal impact on me by making this place my second family!
