this gym is horrible, I went to cancel my membership, but no staff was. There's never staff there, I decided to go to a different location to cancel, but they couldn't. I was told I needed to go to the location that has my membership. The guy was kind and even called this location to see when staff will ve available, but l
the lady that answered was rude to him, but told him staff will be available at 2pm. I went back to at 2 pm, and still no staff available. I called to see if any staff member was coming, and she told me to leave the cancelation letter with the staff of the business next door. What kind of shady business practices is that, as someone who never posts reviews, trust me when I say STAY AWAY from this place they obviously don't want you to cancel your membership so they can keep taking your money. And if you're the owner reading this, just cancel my membership. I don't want to deal with you anymore. You have really shady business practices because if you don't cancel my membership, I'm going to change my bank account, and if worse comes to worse, I'm going to get a lawyer involved, I have enough a headache in my life I don't need this to be another

This is the cleanest most comfortable Anytime Fitness in the Twin Cities. Trust me. I've been to all of them. Also, thank you so much for having a Jacob's Ladder. I never see them anywhere. The best workout ever!

Been coming here for a few months now!! This place is amazing. Its always clean, not pack, great music, cool staff, very respectable management. Just writing this review more as a thank you and keep up the great work. I've been to a few other locations but Northside is leading the pack.

One suggestion, please get a trap bar. That's the only thing missing. I'll survive but please consider it.

I tried to end my membership last year in September or around that time, giving my 30-day notice and they are still charging me. UPDATE: I think they stopped charging me in response to this review, but I would have liked such a quick response when I tried to cancel my membership months ago. Refunding the past charges would make everything chévere.

I've been trying to contact anyone who works here and it feels like no one is ever around. I canceled my membership in October and I've been getting charged still ever since. Under further investigation I see also that they have been charging me twice a month for as long as I've been a member. I've called and emailed multiple times and no one ever gets back to me. I show up during office hours and no one ever seems to be there.

BEWARE!!! Canceling your membership may just put you in a financial spot! I could have used this money for bills but instead it's getting taken out of my account without my permission and I can't get it to stop or get my money back from dishonest dealings.

I would avoid this place if I were you.

In response to the owner's response. We have resolved this after a great deal of effort on my side. Despite cancelling my membership 6 months ago there are no records of this on your end and I was never sent a confirmation email so this means that I walk away worse off than when I tried to leave the first time. Instead of considering something went wrong on their end it just got put on me like I did something wrong and it cost me almost $500. If you really wanted to make this right you would have refunded me the money and left on good terms. Instead when I went in for the second time today finally finding an employee they told me the owner offered me a "lower monthly fee". In what world would a disgruntled former customer who has been trying to cancel their membership for months want to stay there?

This was just really insulting to me. You could have done so many things on your end like answering one of the many emails, calls or surveys I filled out but you didnt. You could have taken my word that something went wrong on your end because the reviews are full of stories just like mine, but you didn't. You were next door at your other business and you couldnt spare 10 minutes to come talk to me and make it right.

the Manager told me since I was on a guest pass there with my Brother I had to give him 10 dollars or I had to leave and so I did and I will never go back! The Manager is trying to scheme extra money on the Side and it is Pathetic!

Very pleasent! Don't let the location deter you from checking this place out. You will love it! This is by far the cleanest, biggest Anytime Fitness, I have been to in the Twin Cities Metro area. The machines work great, look new, and the head employee is very fit and friendly. He offers to give his experience to help you achieve your goals, and he keeps the place very clean. Much appreciated. Check it out, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Excellent selection of equipment for even above average training levels, not quite sufficient for real athletic training. There's only one employee, so if you need a trainer or are wanting to do classes with a group, this is not the gym for you. Pretty bare bones operation, but it's relatively quiet, which is nice. I've never seen more that 3 other people there at any time.

I was calling to get my teenagers memberships, and price check them as well, but the employee told me no one under 18 are allowed in this location. Not ok, they're just trying to work out in their own neighborhood, it's there only gym on the Northside and responsible teens are not allowed, and people wonder how gangs get started, disappointing to say the least SMH

I have found this company to repeatedly let me down and feel incredibly uncomfortable doing business with them. They have charged miscellaneous, unexplained additional charges to my card beyond monthly fee and annual dues and have yet to explain what these are. I have inquired seven times in several different ways over the span of three and a half months including phone calls, emails, responding to surveys, and even a typed out letter hand delivered and have yet to have even any acknowledgment, much less explanation, of these unauthorized charges. I have been beyond patient and am at my wits end. To further in the disappointment, an employee also lied to my face and approved a membership cancellation. Took my key to the facilities and confirmed I would no longer be billed moving forward after a one time cancellation fee. I receive a phone call the next day telling me I was lied to and that I would continue to be charged $50 a month for 6 more months even though I no longer have a key to even get into any facilities. This is an incredibly unprofessional business that does not take care of their patrons. Do NOT get a membership here.

Overall a Clean anytime fitness, not heavily populated during the times I go which is nice. However only one barbell for bench press/deadlifts. So be expected to have to wait if anyone is doing bench press, deadlifts or squats.

The facility is actually quite nice within along with decent updated equipment. Unfortunately the contract they have you sign is misleading and it's like a graveyard in a ghost town in there! I guess if you enjoy working out by yourself 97% of the time with cheesy music and one of the most dreary views in Minneapolis...then this is your club...I continually ponder how the doors are kept open here!

Not only does this place have the worst customer service, but also the most unprofessional individuals working there. Never able to get in touch with anyone, lack of customer centered delivery, and very unhelpful. I spent over a month trying to resolve a cancellation and after emails, voicemails, contacting corporate, and the bbb, my membership was finally cancelled! Yet, I was charged for a month because the representative did not follow through on their part, blantantly lied and blamed it on me and refused to refund me. I will NEVER recommend this club specifically because of the service. It's sad we can't have a decent place here in the community.
