The value just isn’t there. You can pay $20–$30 more and get access to a much better facility—with more space, better amenities, and fewer restrictions—but those gyms are about 15 minutes away. If the drive doesn’t bother you, I highly recommend going with one of those instead.

Even here, you’re locked into a contract, which feels outdated. Guests have to pay $15 just to access the gym—another overpriced and unnecessary system. $5–$10 would be more reasonable.

There are constant reminders posted about being watched or fined for minor violations, which creates a weird, unwelcoming vibe. Towels feel cheap, and the vending machine is usually empty or stocked with poor options.

Between 4–7 a.m., you’ll usually see about 4–10 people in the gym. On weekends between 6–10 a.m., it gets extremely crowded. With all the new housing developments in the area, I can’t imagine how cramped this place will be in a year.

This is the best quality Anytime facility in the North Metro imo. They have at least one machine for every muscle group and plenty of benches! It's a newer facility so it's also very modern and always kept clean!

I can't say enough positive things about this location. The owner is truly in this business to help people, and it shows by how he operates and takes care of the facility. Everything from billing to communication is above and beyond in my experience. Thanks so much, Chris!

I had a great time at this location. Everyone I met is friendly and helped me out when I had questions. The entry and locker aera have plenty of space with extra seating by the front window like my picture shows. They have everything you'd expect a gym to have. So far, I only used the cardio area, but the 3 machines I tried were wonderful. No weird noises and everything felt smooth during my workout. For the roughly 20 people working out, it was still quiet inside with plenty of room. I can't wait to be back when I visit family.

The new location is really nice. It's more square than the old location and if I remember correctly from the manager Chris, said there's about 200 or so more square feet. Very clean and very nice set up.

Too expensive for the low variety of equipment and boring environment this place has. Probably not kid-friendly. No interesting enough features for me to consider a membership despite it being kinda close to my house. Got a tour and was expected to make a decision by the end, felt pressured to say I'd think about it. (Edit: Yes I'm talking about the right location. This was months ago.)

Great management, clean/new equipments. I live in elk river and don’t mind driving to Ramsey specially because the anytime in elk river and Rogers suck…..and their owners are psychos. So don’t waste your time going to Rogers and elk river. Drive to Ramsey, it’s a lot better, I promise you.

Anytime Fitness in Ramsey has the nicest staff and best facilities of any of the Anytime locations I have visited. I've been a member for about six years and the owners are continually adding new equipment and maintaining existing. Nothing is ever broken for more than a day or two. Love it here and it's my favorite lunchtime place to visit in the area!

Love this gym. I was here a year and was personally helped on occasion by the manager of the club herself. Great team that is always there to talk with the guests about concerns or just to chat. I was helped very friendly and professionally with a billing issue and I loved that it's 24 hours accessible and close to home. Great club.

I had an AMAZING experience at Anytime Fitness in Ramsey! The atmosphere was uplifting and the staff was pleasant! Jessica, the personal trainer, is very knowledgeable and will get you in shape the right way! I would recommend this gym to any of my friends! Thanks Anytime Fitness!

Understand what your are signing AND initialing. Logged into my bank account today to find payments have been taken out after my 12 mo contract matured. Called and spoke to a lady who had a bit of an attitude about my issue. I got the feeling she either gets these types of calls often or I'm just stupid because I initaled an auto renewal after 12 mo.
Clearly I don't recall having done that or I wouldn't have called in the first place! Upon entering a 12 mo contract- we talked in person with the lady who signed us up, told her I wasn't a fan of contracts and no way I wanted to do an 18 month one! Sooo.. she did us a 'favor' by giving us a 12 mo contract, and then auto renewing to a month to month! Doesn't make sense- you're still locking me in longer than I want! If someone is adement on not going past 12 mo, I would think common sense would kick and and not do an auto renewal into a month to month! I'm at fault for not asking enough questions and fully reading what I'm signing! Lesson to be had: understand & ask questions or you're going to support other members' 'locked' prices!!
We moved to an actual health club for the whole family with tons of space, less crowded, lots of classes and a pool/sauna! No leaky roof!!!
Better investment.

This gym has way too members to even think about signing up for. Pick a different gym if you plan on visiting any time during peak hours. Basically the only time that you will not be crowded out is between 9am-noon or midnight-3am. The roof leaks water year round as well.
