When I first signed up for Anytime Fitness, I specifically chose this location, and Jake made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. During my first month, I had an amazing experience with him. He’s incredibly friendly, always responsive, and genuinely cares about each member, keeping us informed and motivated. The whole team, from the coaches to the trainers, is supportive and professional, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The gym space itself is quite large, and the bathroom is really spacious, which is something I absolutely love. I’ve tried other locations, but this one truly stands out. I wholeheartedly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a welcoming and positive fitness environment.

This is the only Anytime I've been to across the country that didn't have separate bathrooms! Just a tiny shared changing room with unsecured lockers (you could bring a padlock) and a single toilet stall to use the bathroom. The workout area kinda felt like a YMCA gym. Just a giant room with a pretty good spread of equipment. Not terrible, but not really my vibe.

Been a member for two weeks now. I've been attending classes and using the AF app for days when I'm not signed up for a class. Everyone is friendly and kind. Right now I'm also signed up for 3 months of classes which are easy to sign up for. I like when one trainer was out I'll for class, another filled in rather than just canceling the class. On days when I'm not signed up for a class, I attend at very early hours and appreciate how safe it feels. I'm truly enjoying this place!!

Day two of having a membership and the employees are already trying to take more money for additional classes. Staff is as friendly as a used car salesman because all they want is more of your money. If you want to workout at a gym and be left alone this is not the gym to go to.

I was very disappointed in their 6 week program offered - which was not a cheap investment! The method used to sign up for the classes was not working so they had me texting the trainers. Sometime the text took over 24 hours to be responded to. This made it very difficult to plan my workouts for the week. Sometimes I didn’t get a workout in due to waiting for them to respond to confirm a class for me. When addressed with the management it said it would be fixed but 2 weeks later same issues. I had done 9 of the 18 workouts in the program - loved the workouts, but it was so inconvenient to get scheduled. When a partial refunded was requested it was denied. I asked for a phone call from the GM and 2 days later I get an email. For the amount of money they charge for this program I expected more. Very disappointed! Would not recommend.

Gym itself is spacious but the showers aren't secure, as in you can literally walk right into them from the actual gym. A women's and men's sign is not a lock. Not even a door to the bathroom, just like a venue setting but you turn a corner and there are 3 open styles with cloth curtains. Two showers and a changing room. With today thats super sketch.

I've been an Anytime member since 2014 starting in Little Falls for a year before moving to the Sauk Rapids location. I took a year off several years ago and tried another gym. I initially started going back to Anytime, Sartell which is under the same ownership. I liked it, but came back to Anytime, Sauk Rapids because it's more convenient. The staff at both are friendly and helpful, and machines get fixed when necessary. There have been new owners since June 2022 and I've had no interruptions in service. There are many options for weights, weight machines, and stretching areas. They also have team workouts, small group training, and one on one training available. Overall I'm really satisfied with my gym home.

Very shady business practices. I was explicitly told I could return my $50 key card for a full refund when I was done using my membership (I only used my membership 1.5 months). Supposedly, the gym just up and switched owners in that amount of time, which magically made it completely impossible for me to return my card for the refund. Assuming the gym did switch owners, I never got any kind of warning my card was about to become useless and my $50 was about to go down the drain. Terrible customer service and financially exploitative. Will never attend an anytime fitness again and would never recommend unless you like getting robbed.

It is a bit small but feels like home. I have a membership at Planet Fitness but Anytime was the only one open in the area and one advantage I got to obtain was the free weight bench press. That was great! It also exposed me a little bit since PF has the assisted machines. I enjoyed it and would definitely go back

Great place to go if you want to pick up heavy things and put them back down. I’ve been coming here for about 4 years now and my experiences has always been consistently positive. Other gym members are also very respectful of the space they’re taking up and the weights they’re using. The staff is friendly and helpful. Every time I see Jake, one of the staff members, he’s always got a smile on his face. It’s a very welcoming environment. The team seems very open to feedback and I feel valued at this location.

Coming in at night time, I noticed there are gym goers that are letting friends in to the gym. They are not using the key fobs and do not clean the equipment. This is making anytime fitness less and less of a desirable gym to go to. This happened around 10:20pm on 1/27/22

This is by far one of the best gyms that I’ve been to. The gym is big enough to have pretty much any equipment you’re looking for. However, the part that stands out the most about this gym, in my opinion, is the staff. Blake, Jake, Justin, and the rest of the trainers go out of there way to make you feel welcomed and a part of the AF team. The staff here do an outstanding job of making this “big” gym feel like a small, personal gym. I highly recommend this gym to anyone.

Very clean facility. Multiple showers in the locker room, nice purple turf in two areas. Excellent weight range for slam balls and kettlebells. A few pieces could use some reupholstering but not terrible. This is not my home gym but I choose this one over the other closer available gym due to size when visiting home.

I have been with Anytime Fitness for roughly 8 (+/- 2) years now. Having travelled around the nation and checking out various clubs I can say with confidence that the Sauk Rapids Anytime Fitness is among the top 5 clubs that I have been to thus far. The staff are welcoming, keep the gym orderly, and are prompt when it comes to fixing/updating necessary equipment. The selection of weights, machines and cardio equipment meets the needs of all members during the high traffic times as well. Highly recommend this club if you are a frequent visitor or resident of the greater Saint Cloud area.

Signed up for a free 7 day trial and when I got there a staff member approached me and said that there were no staff members to set up my 7 day trial and made me pay $10 for a single quick workout. Spendy unless you work out 12 times a week. The crappy part is I go twice a day (on my days I do) but they only count it as once a day. I really like this gym!! For the most part very clean, I think for the size it's well laid out, even when it is busier I manage to fit everything in. Gym atmosphere is nice, most all members are really respectful, I have not had any issues. When I first signed up for Anytime I lived near a location that had a stretching room where you could also do video work outs and watch them on a big screen. I really miss this! Not enough room to have this here, just a thought... if you are new to the gym I would totally recommend this location! Not the least expensive in our area, but you get what you pay for. This place is clean and by no means overcrowded.

I think they charge way too much per month when their facilities don't even offer much. The anytime in Sauk Rapids has tanning but you have to pay extra on top of the $32 a month. Much rather go to Stā Fit or Planet Fitness for cheaper. Also really sucks that I'm under contract for 18 months, and they won't allow me to cancel the membership. I am also paying for two memberships because my boyfriend was added onto my membership. We broke up and they refused to remove him and he doesn't pay it.

This is a great place to workout. The staff is friendly, helpful and never judgmental. All that I have worked with have at least an bachelor's degree. They will take the time to understand your needs and customize your workouts. The equipment is kept clean and up-to-date. Perhaps they could keep the locker room a bit cleaner, but it's not filthy by any metric.

Nice gym to workout at. But no one ever answers the phone and even when you leave a voice mail you don't get a call back. Been waiting at least 4+ days. Have had a membership for over 5 years and all of a sudden have a problem with my FOB (Key) and can't work out because no one will return my call or answer the phone. Starting to get really upset and pick a new gym. Other than that it's great. It's just the staff is awful.

Seriously awful. After a few months of having my membership, I sustained a back injury that wouldn't let me continue using my membership to it's extent. I had to call 3+ times to get a solution to my problem. He froze my account for 3 months or so, and just unfroze it and charged me 50 dollars (monthly membership is around 30) without any notice. The equipment here is fine. The management, is not.
