Amazing. I was in Rochester for 5 weeks receiving radiation for cancer treatment. My doctors said that staying active would help reduce the radiation effects. I had never done Pilates but decided to try it. I took the free intro class and purchased a package. I ended up going 3-4 times a week. It gave me something to look forward to during the day and got me out of my apartment. I only did level 1 classes but they were still effective; low impact and full body, especially for my deep core. Katie, the staff, instructors, and other members were so nice and encouraging. I loved it and I wish they had a Club Pilates where I live.

I signed up for a beginner class, and I haven't even gotten to the class yet and I am less than impressed. They have called me, left me voicemails, texted me, and emailed me so many times that it's really put me off. I understand that companies send reminder texts and need waivers filled out, but I'm a bit confused why I need to talk with someone over the phone multiple times about my Pilates and exercise history when I signed up for a single beginner class. Please rethink your approach because as one reviewer put it seems predatory.

The work out is great. Instructors are awesome. I do not appreciate the background music as much. It’s an instructor-choreographed class which I sometimes find challenging enough with and without the background music. Today, I found myself checking into a class I reserved weeks ago only to find out that my reservation was canceled, but β€œlucky” for me, I guess, there is a room for one more. Well that one slot left in that class is my reservation and not a lucky coincidence. I wish for them to fix this IT problem pronto because it would be a great source of irritation to have to be turned away for a class you reserved in advance!

After a few months of classes, here is my updated review:
If you are new to Pilates, book a Trisha class. All of them. She'll fix all of your form problems without making the class frustrating.
If you are pretty experienced in pilates, book a Trisha class. She will thoroughly kick your butt.
If you really don't want to get up for a class, you need a mood booster, and want to have your butt (gently) kicked, book a Holly class. I used to really love her 6 am classes, but I think she has started teaching less of them (and goid for her, she deserves sleep). She notably has some classes where a lot of students have vertigo issues that she adjusts for. If you have those issues, it may be worth calling to see which time slots those are.
I also really enjoy Hanna and Devon's classes, but haven't really made it to any of the newer instructors' classes just yet.

Love Club Pilates! Strengthening all those small muscles and focusing on your deep core has me feeling incredible. I have had pain in my shoulder and low back that has gone away since starting Pilates 4 months ago. I have been going to Club Pilates for just over a month now and I am absolutely loving the experience! Pilates is an incredible form of exercise, and each of the instructors at Club Pilates is so passionate about their work. I love getting to take from different instructors, because they all have a unique style and bring something new to each Pilates workout. The instructors I’ve taken a class from so far are Devon, Trisha, Holly, and Nicole - each one is fabulous! I’m happy to have found my exercise β€œhome” in Rochester.

I was new to the sculpt class and she helped me during the whole class. I like how she demonstrated techniques on the floor for the whole class. I have thought some other teachers should do that for complicated moves. It’s a better way to teach than all verbal instructions.

If you’re wondering if it’s worth the $$? It is!!! If you buy Starbucks 2-4 times a week- you can afford this once a week for a month. I’m a month in- and I look forward to it! I used to lift heavy & engage in HIIT 4-5 days a week- but now I’m needing a different kind of fitness. I also wfh and I’m able to join a class at lunch time- which is perfect!

Try the intro 30 min class to get a feel- you won’t regret it!

There are waitlist as they continue to add classes- be patient w/ this new business!

My experience at Club Pilates has been absolutely amazing. I was so intimidated by trying something so foreign to me but was immediately welcomed by the awesome staff! This is group fitness for everybody and EVERY BODY. I feel so fortunate to have found such a comfortable and supportive studio! Special shout out to Amanda, Devon, and Holly for consistently kicking my butt in their classes! It's only been 2 months and I have noticed a significant improvement in my overall strength and flexibility.
