Certified coaches lead our small group classes to ensure athletes receive adequate instruction before and during each workout. We take a back-to-basics approach with our program, teaching bodyweight movements (i.e., pull-ups, push-ups), powerlifting and Olympic lifting techniques, and conditioning. Each workout presents athletes of all levels with mental and physical challenges to help them surpass their fitness goals. All workouts are scalable according to experience level and athletic ability.

If you are looking for a gym that will improve your strength, flexibility, endurance and confidence, then this is the place for you. I was skeptical going into this gym but was overwhelmed with coach and owner Matt's knowledge and support. Being 55+ I was unsure if I could handle the workouts and was extremely impressed with the options and support from not only coach but the workout community. Plenty of options that will fit any of your workout needs and restrictions. Highly recommend and look forward to my long-term workout journey.

Iβve been a member of Crossfit Woodbury for a decade and I can confidently say itβs one of the best fitness communities Iβve ever been a part of.
The programming is well thought out, providing a great mix of strength, endurance, and skill work. The equipment is almost all Rouge of high quality.
The community is welcoming, encouraging, and genuinely invested in each otherβs success. Itβs an environment that motivates you to show up, work hard, and have fun while doing it.

Coach Matt is extremely knowledgeable and down-to-Earth. I highly recommend his program for anyone who is looking to learn correct and safe body mechanics, and looking to expand their abilities. All of their workouts can be scaled and/or modified to fit all levels of skill and fitness.

I had a couple weeks of leave during Army BCT and desperately needed to keep up my fitness. Thatβs where CrossFit Woodbury and their dedicated coaches and members came in! These people care on a first name basis. I was only in Woodbury to drop in for a handful of workouts, but they wrapped their sweaty arms around me and made me their family; the workouts were awesome, and the coaches were gracious enough to take the time and help me improve my form. There is no doubt that I have a place to get my sweat on in Woodbury, MN with the best of the best. I will miss those strong people. 1000% would recommend. Until next time!!

I love it here. The people are really nice, encouraging, and always willing to help. I have multiple injuries and the coaches always help adapt the workout so I can do them, get stronger, and not injure myself.
It's a family friendly environment. I bring my kids, because there's a kids area for them to stay while we do the WOD (this was really important to me/our family). Many other families bring their kids too.
I'm always exhausted and energized when we're done for the day. I recommend CrossFit Woodbury to anyone and everyone.

I was originally intimidated by the idea of joining a cross fit gym, but CFW has a friendly atmosphere where all ages and abilities are welcome. I have achieved better results doing cross fit 3x a week for three months than I ever did at regular gyms working out 5x a week!
