I joined 6 months ago and paid 200 dollar sign up fee. I enjoyed the facility up until winter hit. I was asked to leave the basketball courts on several occasions recently to make room for pickleball and daycare kids. Paying 80 per month is steep when you canβt use the facilities. I asked the membership team if I could put my membership on hold until spring. I was told I am too young to do this and it was only for seniors. So you are going to pay more and receive less benefits if youβre not old. I followed up with an email and was told to cancel my membership and if I ever want to come back I can pay the 200 dollar sign up fee again. Terrible customer service and policies.

We got a tour and it's a beautiful facility. I'm recovering from knee surgery and looking forward to walking the indoor track and lap swimming, but most of all, the hot tub.

The gym itself is great however some of the staff stare at me constantly and it makes me feel like I am unwelcome and being watched I will be canceling my membership soon
Update.
This gym focuses on pickle ball to much itβs a huge turnoff when we canβt enter the gym without getting glared at by senior citizens it doesnβt feel like a gym it feels like a retirement home and I wonβt be back

Both of my kids have expressed interest in learning to skate and play hockey. As a mom who absolutely did not grow up on ice (seriously, never skated even once), I knew finding lessons for them was going to be the only way. They are in their second session now, and both of my kids are growing their skills every week. They didn't seem to lose any of their abilities in the weeks between lessons and are excited about skating every week. I am so grateful for their skating instructors!

Awesome facility. Great staff. Equipment is regularly cleaned. I've never seen equipment with such little dust on non-movement parts of a piece of equipment. A tad busy but there is a good amount of equipment.

Classes are always filled, there is no parking. They only have one part opened up in the morning. You try to get feedback from Dakota and itβs like crickets. I did ask at the desk why the other parking lot wasnβt open, I was told because they donβt have coverage and people sneak in, while five people were standing at the front desk area doing nothing. Iβve tried different times of the day to go and itβs always packed. No parking.!!!

I came to play pickleball with friends and was very happy with the experience. There are plenty of regulars who love showing newbies how to play. Obviously plenty of other workout options are available. Currently looking into getting my own membership card.

My wife and I just signed up this past weekend for a membership. I love this place. The Pickleball is GREAT on the 6 (yes Six) wood floor Pickle Ball courts. I easily qualified for the discounted monthly rate (somewhat limited hours) since I am just a tad over 59.5 years old. Good play and players. Friendly. I enjoy the hot tub after my Pickleball Workout followed by a healthy smoothie in the smoothie bar. They also have a grill and salad bar (haven't tired yet). Staff seems good and knowledgeful. I highly recommend this. The PB play and price is right.

They've got a nice variety of machines and studios. They locker rooms have updated locks so you don't need to remember to bring one everyday, nicer big showers, sauna and steam room. They have a 24 hr area which is nice if it's after hours.

We were on a family plan at a military rate as I am a Combat Disabled Veteran and unable to work. My son hasn't attended the gym since leaving for the Army in June. My wife hasn't attended since early August and I have never been. When asked about a possible refund, as my family discussed terminating in August, but dropped the ball, they are still gonna bill us for October, November and December. That's perfect for the holidays, considering two months dues was taken a couple days ago.
I thought for sure, after I initially asked about our last visit (August) and it being the Holidays, Miss Susan Schriever would connect the dots. I am wrong, she wont budge, refers to a contract like I'm in the Army still. You know things happen, I explained in detail how the wife and I thought each other cancelled to no avail.
Now, since today is Dec 2, apparently they need 30 days notice, which means I could be charged for January....speechless.

My husband and I visit this gym when we stay with friends in the area. There is such a great variety of equipment for both recreational sports and fitness, for all ages. We bought week guest passes, but only got to use them two of the days, so they gave us each an additional day guest pass for our next visit to town. Special thank you to Stephanie for such great customer service and friendliness. We will definately be back again!

I've been going here for years. The staff here are personable and willing to help when in need. There is plenty to do as far as exercises and available activity. These include weight rooms, cardio rooms, machines, basketball ball court, track, swimming pool, showers, sana, hot tub and much more. Trainers here flexible and will work to see you in your success.

I usually go here to go swimming, so this is just for that portion. Anyways, lifeguards do nothing but sit and talk to eachother. Two specific lifeguards judge every move you make and point and laugh at you across the pool. I am a guest, and going to the pool when those lifeguards are there makes me feel unwanted. I pay money to swim, and it's not worth it. I went today, paid to get in (my boyfriend is a member, so he can get two people in for cheap) went down to the pool and was told that I couldn't swim in what I was wearing. May I remind you it was the same lifeguard that harasses me and my boyfriend everytime we go. I've been going here for over a year and a half, I'm a frequent guest. I swim in the same suit every time. Nobody ever said anything to me about it until today. It was the same guy who snickered and laughed with his friend. So employment really needs to step up. You're literally paying people to sit on their ass and make paying guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed.
Another thing, the showers are seriously gross. I've never seen them get washed or scrubbed once. The floors are slimy, and going into the showers makes you feel dirtier than beforehand.

Alright here it goes...this review is for the gym and weights portion only.
My family has held a membership at Dakotah since the doors opened in 1994. That seems to be the last time the majority of equipment was updated. If you've been to other facilities of this scale it is an embarrassment for the club. The staff there sits behind the desk on their phones all day, or workout on the clock while the weights are disorganized and all over! There are patrons there with little to no experience attempting very dangerous and improper "exercises" while staff stands by and watches. For experienced lifters there is almost NO equipment of any use. They have only 2 designated squat racks and ZERO platforms. There are NO bumper weights you can imagine this makes quite a noise and draws unwanted attention and complaints. Take a peak at savage lifetime, comparable size, they have approx 10 racks and platforms designated for these types of lifts/activities on the main floor. When I asked a staff member about this they said we don't like when "you guys" lift like that! Furthermore they said, "this is a family club" and these type of lifts are discouraged, but for a small fee ($30 a month EXTRA) we will put you in this closet behind the basketball court with 3 platforms to keep you away from everyone else.....They call this "studio 5". What on earth makes that not family friendly? Is lifetime not family friendly? As a 22 year member I had hoped my opinion would matter, but apparently that is not the case.
Lastly the basketball court: EVERY SINGLE rim is bent not all are 10ft and there is not a single usable basketball in the bin they provide...(I checked this morning)
