Had a great experience with a drop in mixed level. The instructor (I think it was Laura?) had really great cues that built on basic moves all the way to challenge someone who has been doing it for years. I only wish the class was a bit longer. I had a great time.

Just finished an intro level drop in class with Nicki, and it was amazing. Nicki is SO GOOD at teaching beginners. Her tips and corrections are on point every time, and they’ve really helped me to feel confident about moving up to higher level classes! Highly recommend!

Booked a beginner class for my sister's bachelorette party - there were 9 of us in total and we had the best time learning from Nicki! She was incredible - very attentive, helpful and definitely WOW'd us with her skills. We don't live in the area but would 100% book again if we did. I love this studio. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the classes are perfectly paced & tailored to skill levels and abilities, and this is the first time in my life I’ve stuck to a workout for longer than a month or two. I’ve never seen myself as strong or sexy, but my classes at Dollhouse are changing that.

Specifically I want to shout out Riley and Ariel, they’ve been fantastic to work with as a beginner! They keep things light and fun while still taking safety and form seriously.

Love this place! I always wanted to try pole dancing, but didn’t actually do it until I was 44 yrs old. I expected to feel completely out of place; couldn’t be more wrong. I’ve had several different instructors and attended couple of different classes (both drop in and workshops) and always had an amazing experience. Everyone is very welcoming and encouraging. It amazes me how much I already progressed, gained so much confidence and it’s been only 3 months.

i’ve been going here weekly for about a year. The idea of it was intimidating at first but as soon as i got there the environment was very welcoming and everyone seemed friendly. after like one class i fell in love with with the art of it. the instructors are all really nice and encouraging. it’s become a very positive community, and it really feels like a second home for me and lots of other people. I’m happy i chose this studio and i highly recommend it to anyone. it’s also very clean and the interior is cute 10/10

3/27/23 - still love the studio and take classes here, the instructors are all very kindly and supportive! Changed my life and mindset to take pole classes and I can't recommend them enough.

I've spent a LOT of money and time trying out all kinds of fitness fads, gym memberships, and workout equipment. I really had a hard time just sticking to anything because I wasn't "hell yes" about lifting weights or sweating in yoga class. Then I had a friend invite me to an open pole class and I was hooked. Pole dance class is a LOT of fun, with good vibes and supportive instructors. It's taught me to appreciate my physicality and celebrate my strengths, and to be attentive to my weaknesses. Highly recommend!

Started coming here last month and I’ve loved everything about it! Nicki and Jess are fabulous teachers. I love getting to know the staff and they love to answer any questions or give referrals! Perfect for complete beginners- come as you are, no judgement, all kinds of body types and shapes! If you’ve been on the fence about trying pole dancing I highly recommend you give dollhouse a chance. Gave one star because they did refund me after I sent 3 emails asking for a refund. Heard good reviews from dancers about Dollhouse but was immediately unimpressed after they cancelled classes due to light rain in 40 degree weather (all daytime classes). This is MN, the only time I stop living is if its not safe to go outside. After discussing with a few people I know and reading the reviews I see my experience is not alone. They do not contact you for cancellation if you subscribe to the confirmation emails, you have to subscribe to their advertising emails to get cancellations so I wasted my gas and time driving to the studio on Tuesday just for the doors to be locked and nobody inside. Sorry I don’t check instagram every day… ridiculous policies. 0 customer service skills. Still no working phone number. No way to run a business but thanks for the refund! I will make sure to spread the word to all my SW friends to never go here for classes. Please don’t give them your money, others haven’t gotten it back.

I started taking classes this August as part of my ED recovery work with body respect and connection. I struggle big time through nearly every class because pole is helping me unlock trauma in my body and pull apart years of fear. I am unlearning a lifetime of "can'ts" as a plus size woman who struggles with body respect and folks are so encouraging with my snail's pace and emotional reactions that rise up sometimes. The Dollhouse is becoming as critical to my therapeutic journey as meeting with my therapist and dietitian! Every single instructor is so kind and the other students cheer you on. Coming here gives me a welcoming space to explore my body and movement. I went to a workshop tonight that left me crying the happiest of tears as I explained to my partner that I felt kinda cool in my body tonight in a way I hadn't quite tapped into yet. So grateful for these folks!!

Pole dancing is an intimidating and sexy sport. The instructors at the dollhouse are excellent at explaining the moves and building on them. There's little something for your sexy exotic side and flexibility. My favorite is the pole fundamentals that I'm slowly working through and am headed to level 3 out of 5! This is serious studio if you want to increase your skills in a fun, safe, sassy way! Love it 💕

Dollhouse is like a second home to me! The instructors are amazing, and the friends I’ve made at the studio are some of the most supportive and encouraging people I’ve ever met. The classes and teachers were overall pretty great, but the customer service is terrible. I purchased three classes through the Mindbody app that I was not allowed to use for class credit (they insisted they were purchased through a different app and didn't bother trying to explain or figure out what the technology disconnect might be between) and they consistently treated me like I was trying to pull something over on them while I was trying to figure out why I couldn't use those credits. I moved to a different studio.

Their website can be a bit confusing to navigate at times. I've somewhat gotten the hang of it now.

They do have the best prices and packages in the state, floor to ceiling poles.

But, above all, this should be your biggest concern....

One instructor in particular can easily take 20 minutes to start class.. And yes. That means that 20 minutes you paid for is non-refundable- class has begun 🙃

She takes her time to get ready when she is having a bad day. Ask her a question during this time, doesn't matter what it is, she gives you straight attitude back. Not the good kind.

Ask any of the students- I guarantee you that they have each witnessed or experienced this behavior, firsthand if they have taken one of her classes, and they will know exactly who I'm talking about.

The longest it took her to begin instructing the class was 25 minutes - nearly half the class time for intro- a 60 minute class.

We all stood around and did absolutely nothing for 25 minutes, listening to her complain about her life and her job.

We paid to do dance classes. Not to be disrespected by the staff, not to listen to an instructor complain about her problems. No.
We thought we signed up for an Intro session, 60 minute classes. We got 35-45 minutes of practice time, waiting on our instructor to teach us something new. 😔

If her behavior improves within the next few weeks following this post, I WILL delete this review.

Had a great time. It's not as easy as it looks. It's definitely a workout and a challenge. Just to climb the pole.had me exhausted. Great exercise at the same time it teaches Poise and Grace. While strengthening the Core Arms and Legs. You also get to b Sexy.

I have actually learned basic pole dancing and love it! By 4th week which was last week l had learned to climb as well! I am amazed! Love the staffs there! I am very thankful! Will take more classes!
The only thing l would say needs a bit work is space between each student because when we spin we tend to hit eachother with our legs, so we had to be careful. I just wish there was a bit more space so that we didn't have to worry about that, so we can keep learning moves. ^_^

I've been taking classes here for about 3 months and I love it! Instructors are able to tailor classes to the students' level, and the classes are small enough that I always get personal help and attention. There is a separate room for "open pole" so you can work by yourself on techniques, routines, etc. Parking is sometimes hard to find, since the lot is shared, but I've always found a spot in the end. They have good deals on monthly memberships sms drop-in packages.

We had a lot of fun taking a class here! The instructor was very knowledgable and talented. Pole dancing has a bit of a reputation but this is a classy place.
We found the building fine on our gps but once inside its a bit tricky to find the room. Once inside its a room for your belongings/pay/ then you head into the studio which has 10 poles and mirrored walls. I took the mixed level dance workout as it was my first time. We learned moves to one song during the class bit by bit then put it all together. I wish I was in town longer to take more classes those girls are amazing!
