My daughter has been training at ETS Performance in Plymouth for over a year, and it’s made such a big difference. The coaches are awesome—they really know how to motivate the athletes and push them in the right way. She’s gotten stronger, faster, and more confident. The environment is positive, the workouts are challenging, and you can tell the staff genuinely care. Highly recommend ETS to anyone looking to help their kid improve in their sport and overall health, and enjoy the process!

We have been doing ETS in Plymouth since it opened in the summer of 2024. All three of our kids go there and all LOVE it! It is a fun, challenging, positive and motivating environment. The coaches take the time to get to know them and to help them. Often times their friends are there, which makes it extra fun. Our kids walk out of each class with a smile and some sweat on their faces! They have each made improvements in speed, agility and overall athleticism.

We appreciate the flexibility of the membership in terms of being able to sign up for classes when it works for our schedule. Some months our kids attend more classes than others, depending on what other sports and activities we have going on. Knowing that they always have opportunities to train at ETS is great for our busy life.

There are a lot of reasons parents decide to bring their kids to performance training outside of their young athletes’ sport/s of choice. For us, and since our daughter only practices hockey all year round, we wanted for her to develop and work muscle groups that she doesn’t necessarily develop as much through hockey, improving her overall athleticism, agility, explosiveness, and strength, as well as to help her avoid injuries due to overuse. Particularly, she wanted to gain more strength and muscle mass in her upper body and develop a stronger core. Additionally, I knew it would be very beneficial at this time in her growth to start lifting in order to stress and develop strong and optimal bone density which will serve her well through her lifetime.
After a one-one-one evaluation with one the trainers and once registered, the plan is customized to the athlete given the needs, goals, and taking into consideration the evaluation. This plan changes and evolves given the progress and termination of each of their individual “workout sheet” which allows for muscles (and brain) to be challenged and avoids plateauing and boredom. She has now completed six months of ETS and four individual workout sheets.
Among the many benefits she has acquired while being at ETS are: learning fitness lingo and many new exercises, becoming more self-motivated and self-accountable, and perhaps most importantly; form. One of the best aspects of ETS is the overseeing of the several coaches during sessions constantly correcting form and teaching how to perform safely and effectively new workout sheet exercises as well as helping and encouraging them to finish their sets.
Additionally, and given the fact that she has hip dysplasia, she needs to make sure that the muscle groups around the hip (glutes, hamstrings, quads) are strong and supportive enough to avoid potential issues (torn knee ligaments, hip impingement, etc) while skating, as her form has been a concern. Attending ETS has done just that, facilitating good athletic and skating form and minimizing potential injuries.
From the day of her first evaluation to close to her 6 months her vertical improved 7 inches and she has shattered her push-ups record and plank time. I don’t expect her improvement to continue at this rate but the results and proof are astounding. This progress is both helpful as a moral boost but also as a way to recognize that whatever she is doing at ETS has real and actual implications on her fitness level: it is an objective measure.
As far as measuring, ETS does a great job at periodically tracking progress using quite fancy equipment and fine tuning the workout sheets based on the development after going over the results with the athlete and parents. To me, this is amazing.
For her at this age it is not always necessarily fun going to ETS as it’d be going to Target with her bestie but she enjoys it when she is there especially if she has friends in her session, and the coaches make it as fun and engaging as possible. The music is always a great plus. From the 15 minute warm up drills and games to the individual work the environment is always positive, encouraging, supportive, and respectful among peers.
Gabe (and ETS) is someone who we now consider part of our team. “It takes a village” they say when it comes to raising our children and supporting their development in the many aspects of growth (mental, intellectual, spiritual, social, etc) and we are proud to have ETS as part of our team in supporting our daughter’s athletic development through which she is learning skills like self-confidence and reliance that will help her in the many other areas of her personal and professional life.
Our daughter believes in ETS enough to want to continue doing it year-round, perhaps less intensely during hockey season, and we will support her by signing her up for the year membership.
I would not hesitate a second to recommend it to anyone for the reasons I have tried to express in this review. Thank you, ETS.

Gabe, the site director, was great to work with beginning with my first phone call to ETS in Plymouth, to learn about the training that they offer athletes. I have two daughters that both train at this location and plan on having our youngest join them in the next couple of years.

This location is very convenient as it's near 494 and Hwy 55, which is helpful when driving kids to sports and activities. My girls are showing strength, speed and agility gains as a result of tailored workouts with their training at ETS. All of the trainers have been friendly and supportive and truly take an interest in all of the athletes' sports. It's great to see them give the athletes recognition on social media for both hard work in the gym and for their respective sports. ETS provides a great value and there's plenty of class times available to choose from each day. The club solicits feedback and changes class offerings each season. I'm excited to watch my girls' results and growth from their training at ETS.

10 out of 10 - ETS Plymouth has been amazing for our high school son. In just a few weeks, he built connections and relationships with staff and fellow members. It's so fun to see him run into his fellow ETS peers in the community. It's been fantastic to have Gabe and the other coaches help and motivate him with improving strength, vertical reach and developing more speed and agility for his overall athleticism.

The leaderboard is inspiring and motivating, and encourages healthy competition amongst peers. Having access to your athlete's personal stats and receiving feedback and videos on progress is super helpful and appreciated.

We love the ETS shout-outs and athlete features on social media. It's great to hear success stories of others and to see the younger athletes benefit from positive influence of their older peers. There's no question that the staff truly cares about their athletes. ETS Plymouth is the place to be!

Both of my sons started training with Gabe and his staff this spring and have seen great results in just a few weeks. I appreciate the customized approach to their training, the measurable results that motivate the kids to keep working hard and the positive experience the trainers provide. I recommend this facility for any kid looking to add a new dynamic to their overall training program. And, both kids are excited to go to each workout! (Grades 7th and 9th)

Our family has been incredibly happy with our boys’ experience at ETS in Plymouth. Gabe and his team create a supportive and challenging environment that’s perfect for young athletes. We appreciate the thoughtful introduction to weight training, the tracking of progress, and the way ETS brings together kids from different schools and communities.

Most importantly, it’s empowered our boys (ages 10 and 12) to take ownership of their athletic development in a safe and fun setting. ETS also reinforces healthy habits around nutrition, protein intake, and sleep, giving them a well-rounded foundation for growth.

Gabe and the team are fantastic. Our 13 year old was excited but also, as he was going in to something new with out a team or buddy joining him, it had a different vibe. He didn't want to feel or look "dumb" (his words). After the 2nd session, he came out beaming, feeling strong and motivated. He said the instructors went out of their way to help w/ form, guide and they are always positive. It's a really comfortable place for kids to learn how to work out best for them. Highly recommend.

My son loves the challenge ETS presents to him. If he could go everyday he would. He has gained strength, skill, and agility, which helps him perform at a higher level in his everyday sports.

Gabe and team deliver results. Both of our kids have thoroughly increased their performance metrics, and more importantly, could feel the difference on the field. Looking forward to continued improvement as a result of trainings and a deeper understanding of biomechanics.

Our 10-year-old son was skeptical of "working out", but after a visit, he came home super excited about going back. Coach Gabe has been great and pushes him to achieve even more than he knew he could. Everything is done with a positive tone and struggles just become goals for the future.

The agility training drills are great and make everything seem more like a contest or game rather than just working out. Gabe has even worked with our son on some life skills like shaking hands and making eye contact when speaking with someone.

Our kids are off to a great start at ETS. In just a couple of short months, they are making solid gains in strength and overall atheleticsm. More importantly, they are learning that "showing up" and putting in the work = results. This is discipline and commitment that will serve them in all corners of life. Thanks to Gabe and the ETS Team for the encouragement and personal plans that are elevating our kids. Upward!

Beyond happy with our experience with Coach Gabe and ETS Plymouth. Both of our kids attend ETS Plymouth. This is our son’s first training experience as he is 10. Everyday I pick him up and can’t wait to hear about his session with Coach Gabe. He is red in the face, sweaty, and best of all smiling. The first thing out of his mouth is how hard he worked and how much fun he had. He loves it! He asked for the extra session today when our plans changed. Thank you!

And yes, our 15 year old absolutely loves it as well. She loves the sweat sessions and how Coach Gabe identified her goals and looks at her training on an individualized basis.
