Farrell's Eden Prairie is a results-based fitness program for participants of any age, lifestyle, sex or athletic ability.
Farrell's Eden Prairie offers a unique program with 4 components: Kickboxing for Cardio, Strength Training, Nutrition Guidance and Personalized Coaching . Students initially enroll in a 10-Week Challenge session in which physical testing is performed along with photos both at the beginning and end of the 10-Week Challenge. A $1000 prize is given to an overall winner for the man and woman with the best overall transformations during a party at the end of the 10-Week Challenge.

Love this gym! I’m doing the 10 week challenge and it is definitely a challenge, but the awesome instructors and the kindness of my other classmates keep me coming back. I was nervous about showing up and being out of shape, but there’s plenty of other people at the same fitness level that I am, and there’s no judgment anyway. I’m going to do the challenge again after I finish it this time, just because it’s so fun and you can get a lot out of it no matter your skill level! Be ready to make some friends and sweat!!

I'm starting my 8th year at Farrell's Eden Prairie this month! I love the fun class environment. The kickboxing and strength training workouts are great, but the Farrell's people are the BEST!!! Coming out of an extended rough patch at work, I took a good hard look in the mirror and saw I had given myself a physical body I didn't want, and decided to create change. I explored gym options, tried a few sample memberships, and fortunately followed a friend into Farrell's eXtreme in Eden Prairie.
Farrell's uses stretching, Thai Kick Box (easily learned by anyone in any shape of any age (I'm in my 60's)), weight lifting, music, and peer support that motivates you to show up.
While working out hard and making new friends, yes, you do build the muscle you envisioned in your mind that you wanted to have.
The FXB staff also provides workable recipes, shopping tips, and encouragement that help you follow the FXB creed, "You build your muscles in the gym and your stomach in the kitchen."

I joined Farrell’s 3 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! My experience at Farrells have been life-changing! I have gained so much strength and cardio endurance. Kickboxing has been such a game changer for me. I have had a hard time motivating myself with “HIIT” style workouts, but kickboxing gets my heart rate up- and I don’t dread it like I’ve dreaded other cardio activities! There are challenging workouts here for individuals with any level of experience (I started without knowing any kickboxing). Knowledgeable instructors, supportive community, and the resources here are amazing with the in person AND online workouts, nutrition classes, and form and technique videos. Farrell's is a great place to go if you want to challenge yourself and set a healthy lifestyle. When I go to a normal gym alone, I always feel out of place and get somewhat intimidated by all the people who look like they know what they are doing. At Farrell's the instructors show you how to do the workouts in a class and will walk around to correct form. When you leave after a class you always feel like you did a satisfying workout!
Things to keep in mind if you are just starting at the kickboxing classes:
- You might feel a little silly for the first few classes, that's okay!! No one is a pro at first, keeping at it is the key to good form. Absolutely no one at the gym will judge you, all I have ever experienced is encouragement.
-You will sweat, a LOT. Bring water to drink (they do have a water bottle fountain to refill) and maybe a towel or five to help stay at least a little bit dry.
-Introduce yourself to the other members, having workout buddies will motivate you and you might make a few friends! I know I have.
-Always ask questions if you need help with your form, if you have an injury or disability and need to alter a workout, or if you have specific workout goals you want to meet (Be it help with at-home workouts or dietary needs). The instructors LOVE to help people and are very personable.
-Lastly, pace yourself. This isn't a race, it's better not to tire yourself out and get discouraged, take your time and work up the endurance to get through class. If you can only do a couple classes a week at first? That's okay! Rome was not built in a day and neither is that hot swimsuit body.
I have enjoyed and will no doubt continue to enjoy my classes at Farrell's.

Farrell's does a great job of helping you improve yourself. I'd lost 65 pounds in 9 years. I was doing okay on my own, but Farrell's really helped me pick up the pace. I've lost 30 pounds in four months, and gained a lot of muscle.
They will give you all of the tools you need. Classes every day, instructors pushing you hard (but if you need to go easier they understand, which is excellent), and nutrition guidance. And they do body analysis so you see when you've changed fat into muscle.
If you jump into it with both feet, you will get in better shape fast. You'll have the opportunity to work very hard, and they're good at getting you to push yourself.
This is a very, very good place to get in better shape.

My fiancé and I have just completed our 10 weeks at Farrell's in Eden Prairie. We both love the classes and would recommend it to anyone who asks. The owner, Lance and his staff are so helpful and knowledgeable and can help you achieve your goals with helpful tips and positive encouragement every day - no matter your fitness level. Believe me, I was no athlete when I first arrived at Farrell's! However, this weekend I am participating in my first official 5K and I can't wait! ... those words have never came out of my mouth when it pertained to any physical activity, until now. The classes are challenging but at a good pace. My fiancé and I have met some incredible, and inspiring people as well. We all have the same goal...to be healthy.
