The price and coverage is more than fair, expectations predictible but firm.

Older Martial artist are not seen, let alone the more mature, older boxers.

Still a great place for those interested in boxing.

Sammy was welcoming from the start, we needed each of because having young ladies that box is hard to come by. From the start great work, their fighters show grit and finesse. Showing great foot work and technique. It has always been a blessing to work with them. They are very respectful and wise, this is another top ranked gym in MN that competes nationally. You want your kid to have a great start at boxing this is where to startπŸ’―

A community staple using the sport of boxing to uplift individuals and address key challenges facing our community such as youth disengagement, rising health concerns, and the need for positive recreational social activities.

Firehouse is a gem in the heart of Columbia Heights. Sean, Judy and the volunteer coaches are doing Gods work with all they do for the community. This is a special place for young men and women to have a positive outlet through sport.

John is the best trainer if you want to box well. I have been boxing since 2009 and had several trainers in different boxing clubs. John is the best. Unlike other gyms Firehouse has an actual boxing ring. You are no boxer if you have never been on the boxing ring.

Firehouse is an amazing gym for all levels! The owners are wonderful and the atmosphere is top notch. It's a great place for adults to work out, professional fighters to train & for youth/kids to learn boxing skills. Check it out!

I'm going to try to lay out for you why this is the best boxing gym in Minnesota.
#1. It does not smell like a boxing gym.
Besides that the real draw is the staff. These boxing coaches know their stuff and the prices are very reasonable.
Also, they happen to be semi professional level comedians.
So picture this.
You go in to this lavishly equipped gym, you get some exercise get some endorphins going, you're getting better, stronger, faster, more lethal.
All the while some nice guy is teaching you exactly how to mete out justice while making you laugh.
Literally what else do you want out of a boxing gym.
Don't be a primmadonna, get your keister to Golden Gloves Firehouse Gym.

Yeah it's in a firehouse which is even more neat

Good stuff. 8 youths and 6 adults working out together at this friendly gym. Hitting it hard just before closing time.

My 10 year old started taking boxing lessons here a few months ago and he loves it. The coaches and staff that I've met have all been friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming.

The price is very affordable ($50/month) considering there are three 1 hour classes a week. Also, they're not like a lot of gyms where they try to tie you into a year contract or anything like that. It's month by month so if for some reason your kid doesn't fall in love with it, you're not out hundreds of dollars. If you figure it out it's roughly $4 per hour of training.

I highly recommend it.
