We have really loved so much about Goldfish Swim school. We have been attending lessons with our nearly 4 year old since they opened. The facility is beautiful and we love that it allows swim lessons to occur year round. The owners have been wonderful to answer questions and all the staff are so kind! We love the family swim and really appreciate this being included with our membership. Our daughter has been gaining comfort in the water and now enjoys getting in the water, whereas prior to Goldfish, she was very nervous about it. The first week, we noticed one of the deck supervisors quickly recognized her nerves and came over to provide extra help. There has been some difficulty with having different instructors many of the weeks, and this lack of continuity makes it more difficult for our daughter to gain comfort and confidence with her instructor, which we suspect has slowed her progression some. She doesn’t spend as much time in the water as we had hoped she would with each lesson, though we understand at this age, and swim level, this is for their safety. Overall, we have been grateful for Goldfish!

My son Ollie has been taking lessons At the Rochester goldfish from school for about three months now. Ollie is four years old and also has Down syndrome. Because of Ollie’s age, the class that he would be in does not have parents in the pool with them, but due to Ollie’s disability, he still requires a one on one support. The owners of Rochester goldfish swim school went above and beyond to include our son in their program they went to their bosses at corporate and advocated for Ollie to be in a younger class where we could be present with him. Thanks to them Ollie now loves to be dunked underwater where three months ago getting his hair wet was a whole issue.

Goldfish Swim School has been a wonderful addition to the Rochester community. I have three children who are all in different levels of swim classes, and the Goldfish team went above and beyond to make sure all three could have lessons at the same time. When one child moved up to a new level, they worked with us again to adjust the schedule so everyone could still swim together.
The facilities are beautiful, bright, and clean. It is surprisingly manageable to get multiple kids in and out of lessons at once. Most importantly, I always feel that my kids are safe and well-supported. There are extra staff on deck to ensure every child is supervised and are available to lend a hand when needed.
When one of my kids had a hard time getting into the pool, the instructor was patient, thoughtful, and creative in helping them feel comfortable. The owners and managers are also incredibly open to feedback and genuinely committed to creating the best possible experience for families.

We’ve been taking our daughter to Goldfish Swim School for about a month now, and we’re really loving it! The instructors are awesome , super fun and patient and the whole place is so clean and welcoming. Our little one is getting more confident in the water every week! . Such a great experience so far! We were so excited to see a Goldfish Swim School finally open in Rochester! It is wonderful to have the opportunity for year round indoor swim lessons. Our experience at Goldfish has been wonderful. The facility is clean and organized. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We love the small class size so our child gets individualized instruction and feedback, while also being inspired by other students. Our child has made noticeable improvements in his fear of the water and we love the dedicated feedback time both in the app and at the end of sessions. Highly recommend!

Our 9 month old daughter has been attending swim lessons for 2 months now and we love watching her grow more comfortable in the water with each lesson! She loves swimming and is so excited every time we go. The instructors are always kind, foster a welcoming environment, and give easy to follow guidance for parents of infants! The warm pool is so nice as well, for both the parents and the infants/children!

Love how teachers make the kids experience in the water fun and kids are able to learn at their own pace. Having smaller groups also makes it easier for them to learn and participate.
