I have practiced yoga in California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Thailand, and Minnesota. This is the BEST yoga studio I have ever spent my time. The community is filled with a diverse range of humans, of all ages, at all different levels. The teachers foster classes that truly benefit everyone. They are hands-off, which prevents from injury. They always offer modifications and the environment feels comfortable to do them. It feels like home. You will find community, love, peace, and joy if you decide to attend a class at Honest Yoga Studio. I truly believe the owner, Nicole Byars, has built a gem of a studio. I promise taking a class at this studio will have a profound positive impact on your life. Take my word for it. Words can’t express how much of a blessing this studio is to this world.

For a first-time participant any thoughts I had about what yoga was totally dispelled, and it was one of the most amazing experiences. I left the hatha class truly feeling restored and will go back!

Honest Yoga is a safe and fantastic place for the practice of Yoga. The heated yoga flow and hatha classes are my favorite, but they also offer Barre and Strength and Conditioning. The teachers are all amazing and caring. Nicole Byars knows her stuff and is well-respected and engaging. The yoga retreat in Costa Rica was a trip of a life time.

On Saturday my father passed away. On Monday I came in to Julie’s class. When class started my mind and body were trying to do yoga while my soul was crying. Thanks to Julie’s voice, the warm embrace of the studio, and a place that is safe, I was able to knit back together and find balance.

I have been going to yogamn for several years now, and it always feels like a breath of fresh air when I walk in the door. Everyone is welcoming, and cares about your well-being. The classes can be challenging, but the instructor always checks in and empowers everyone for a successful class.

I have a slight bias as a teacher here, but the space is beautiful with offerings of heated and non heated yoga, and barre. Teachers are engaged and creative. Plus, the community is friendly and welcoming!

I had tried taking classes before at health clubs and always felt really self-conscious and uncomfortable and never left relaxed. The instructors here do such an amazing job of making EVERYONE feel welcome regardless of your size, age or athletic ability. I really, really LOVE this place and if you are hesitant because of past not so pleasant experiences I urge you to give YogaMN a chance. I have moved since I first came here an there are 4 other yoga studios closer to me but it is worth the extra few miles to go to YogaMN!

My first yoga experience was 5 years ago at the Yoga Studio -- I walked into a hot class with Mary joyously teaching and reggae music playing in the background. Being a bit self-conscious (I am a runner because I can work-out alone), I was so thrilled to find a place that didn't at all seem pretentious. I've worked out at a few other studios both locally and outside of MN and I can say, without question, that the Yoga Studio is my favorite place to practice. Great, real-life teachers who quickly learn who you are and welcome you into their "family" and the ability to make your practice a centered, mindful experience or a physical workout (or, ideally, both!).

Anyone new to yoga should look here first (I've recommended many of my friends to start here) and any veteran yogis would benefit from this wonderful studio as well!

I have been going to yogastudio for the past five years, and absolutely love it! All of the teachers are well trained, and truly do everything they can to keep you safe, while also challenging you to reach your potential. The atmosphere is laid-back and calm with dimmed lights and relaxing music during practice. This was the place that I took my first ever yoga class, starting with the beginner's class: When Pigs Fly. The class offered the perfect amount of guidance without being overwhelming. Now, my favorite class is the hot yoga class, and the heated room is the perfect way to get warm during the Minnesota cold.

Yogastudio is great for practitioners of all shapes, sizes and yoga experience. I also practice at other studios, but yogastudio will always be my yoga home. :)

I first tried the Yogastudio 10 years ago when they opened. 3 kids & a 4 marathons & many TRIs later, I returned to my first love, hot Yoga! Mary was the teacher for my class. From theoment I entered the door through the class, I couldn't ask for a better experience! Mary & Yoga Studio.....love ya! Julie

I ran cross country and track in college and now I am a converted yogi! I have been going to The Yogastudio since I was 16 (now 22) and I absolutely love it! I love the local feel of this studio much much better than any other commercial chains because the staff is friendly and open to all types and levels of yoga. They make you feel comfortable and at ease trying new poses. There are classes for advanced yogis and beginners as well. I have recommended this studio to many others and will continue to do so because the service is excellent and the yoga is excellent. Also, I need to mention that they have Student Discounts!!! LOVE!

They offer fun classes such as laughter yoga and special holiday classes. I brought my Dad to Father's Day yoga and we had so much fun! Now on every vacation we have to find a scenic spot to do the tree pose together!

Also, I sustained a running injury and went to the yogastudio to strengthen my body and continue to exercise. I attended a restorative yoga class for many weeks and the staff helped me through it. I was so very thankful to be able to run competitively again in college.

I went to the Yogastudio for the first time over the summer, and I immediately fell in love! Very reasonable prices, and great discounts for students. They even offer pay-what-you-can classes many times throughout the week. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and they are great with people of all skill levels. So, if you are an advanced yogi, or trying yoga for the first time, I recommend the Yogastudio!

I love the YogaStudio in Plymouth and have attended classes about 3 times per week there for over 6 years. The teachers are warm, friendly, experienced, encouraging - they get to know their students. I look forward to every practice. I have been to several other studios throughout the Twin Cities and the YogaStudio stands out high above the rest. I have recommended YogaStudio to friends, family, coworkers for years - and obviously, will continue to do so!

I have taken at least a dozen classes at the Yoga Studio during the past 8+ years. I live in Iowa and when I am in Minneapolis I try to make a point of taking time out of my trip for a class at the Yoga Studio. Every experience there has been positive. I leave feeling refreshed and happy. The staff is warm and welcoming. The environment is friendly, courteous and accommodating. The instructors are skilled, experienced and well trained. I have been consistently pleased after every experience. I would guess this is one of the top studios in the country in terms of customer service. Wonderful, hard working Minnesotans who love Yoga and take care of each other and the community, in general. That is how I would characterize this studio. Namaste!

I have done yoga in many studios across the country, and I have had a lot of great teachers, but if I could pick just one place to go to take a yoga class tomorrow, it would be here. Friendly, supportive, and kind. Who could ask for more? :)

I have practiced yoga in many places because I have relocated quite a bit (Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, San Antonio). This studio is the best studio I have ever found. It is upbeat and welcoming, they take the practice seriously without being dogmatic. You will be challenged but you will be supported every step of the way. Go regularly and leave stronger, calmer and more peaceful. Great for beginners and those with advanced practices alike.
