I’ve been a proud member of InMotion Fitness since they opened their doors in November 2016, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health and wellness. From the start, owners Megan and Andrew have created something truly special β€” a space that balances serious training with genuine community.
The coaching team is top-notch. My first gym experience and it has been great! Excellent trainers. Very friendly, non-judgemental patrons of all types! Never before, but now I am a morning person, because I do not want to miss a great start to my day. Just started my second year and am attending 3x to 5x per week. I lost ~10 lbs and gained the strength and endurance I needed to take my first boundary waters canoe and portage trip! Looking forward to continued improvement and being able to keep up with my grandchildren. I highly recommend this gym.

This is a great workout gym. The space is awesome with lots of great equipment and the trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful. If you want a hard strength workout they are there for you. I am a 54 year old woman and they are also great workouts for me and make adaptations as needed. It’s great to feel strong and they make the conditioning part of the workout fun!

In Motion Fitness is great. It's a really positive environment with great trainers and members. Unlike the big box Globo gym type of places that look at you as a dollar sign and a number, the owners and trainers at In Motion actually know your name. Without mentioning any names, I've "experienced" other well known gyms on this "planet" and can honestly say I felt abandoned & lost at those places so I never wanted to go. With the class style workouts at In Motion you never feel lost because someone's always there to guide you through your workout to ensure you're using proper form to avoid injury. They take the thinking out of working out because they tell what the workout is going to be, then show you how to do it, and are always there to assist you and give an encouraging fist bump or high five. Every day they change up the workouts so you're always doing something different for maximum results. You'll find yourself wanting to go to the gym and workout at In Motion Fitness. It might not be the biggest gym around but it's definitely one of the best. Great people and a great gym.

I was only in town for a few weeks and during that time frame, this fitness center really pulled me into their community and led me through some awesome workouts. InMotion Fitness isn’t just a great gym, it’s a great community! I’ve been a member there for 2.5 years after being at multiple big-box gyms, and can’t say enough positive things!

The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and personable- they make a real effort to get to know, challenge, and encourage each person. Workouts can be modified to absolutely any level of fitness or skill, and every day is different to keep things interesting.

In a challenging 2020, they invested so much time and energy into keeping the gym a safe environment - I’ve never once felt at risk. Community members are also bought in to following protocols and respecting one another’s space and safety. The at-home workouts available online have been an added bonus - I plan to use them in the future when traveling!

I joined In Motion Fitness in June 2020 and it was everything I didn't know I needed. In Motion Fitness changed my life for the better and I can't imagine a life without it. The owners and the coaches are absolutely incredible. You will never be bored with new workouts everyday, you will never do a the same workout twice. Plus, they’ve gone to great lengths to make you feel safe in the gym while getting a great workout. The owners are amazing! I have been struggling with my weight and overall health my whole life and have never been able to find the right intensity workout to complete in order to see results, which has been very frustrating! When I did workout, I liked to attend classes (Zumba, kickboxing, etc.) at Lifetime. However, due to financial reasons, I had to recently quit my membership at Lifetime, so I was just doing cardio exercises on my own at home without much results. I was invited to check out In Motion Fitness by a friend as part of their May member/non-member challenge. I went into the challenge skeptical and kind of scared. I was intimidated by all the equipment they had at the gym and afraid of what exercises they were going to make me do and if I would be judged if I couldn't do them all. Well, that attitude was quickly thrown out the window! After starting at In Motion, yes, the equipment still seemed intimidating, but as I attended classes, I was taught properly how to use all the equipment and was taught modifications to all of the scheduled exercises for that day and how to get the same effect/work same muscle group(s). Throughout my time at In Motion this month, I have grown to really appreciate the staff. Megan, Andrew, and all their staff are AMAZING and really helpful and personable to help/coach you when needed. Not only are the staff amazing, but the other members are super nice and friendly too, no judging! You feel like you are part of one big family, who helps and encourages each other out constantly while you are there. Everyone I have met has been nothing but nice!
Now that the challenge is over, I have decided to become a member of this gym because I like the program so much and I know that my health is important! I have definitely seen results physically, mentally, and emotionally this month because of working out at In Motion. If you are considering checking In Motion out, I would HIGHLY recommend giving it a try and joining more than just your standard "gym", but a family who is willing to work with and encourage you where you are at to help you become a better YOU! Plus, it is FUN! I am SO GLAD that I did this challenge!

Three months ago I could jump rope exactly one time in a row. Last week I hit 59.

I am a self-proclaimed gym hopper! I have been to many different gyms and had a variety of experiences. In Motion creates a friendly, welcoming environment where one can get in and out for a quick, effective workout. It is impressive how they manage large and small classes. They also pay close attention to form and if one is using equipment correctly. I appreciate that! The last gym I was at did not do this. I discovered after 18 months of being there that no one corrected a simple mistake I was making with a piece of equipment. I started participating the InMotion world the beginning of May as part of their 28 day challenge encouraged by a friend. Having the opportunity to be part of this program I jumped in and committed to attending everyday I could. They run group sessions 6 days a week offering multiple 45 minutes slots each day. I have felt appropriately pushed each day and have appreciated InMotion's desire to understand what my physical limits and provide ways for me to be safe in my exercises. There is something very unique about the friendships that are developing with others in the sessions. Perhaps it is sharing a common desire to be more physically fit but I believe that the owners Megan and Andrew have played large part in setting the tone at InMotion Fitness. Their engaging style truly leaves attendees with a sense of belonging and a feeling of hope that improvements can be made in our health. InMotion regularly holds various seminars on helpful topics such as injury prevention and motivation techniques. Recently, a seminar covered the topic of RPR - Reflexive Performance Reset which was super interesting. I don't think you could go wrong with giving InMotion a look if you are desiring to start some healthy routines in your life.

I hate β€œlifting” but these workouts are hard yet really fun and the workouts are new each day so it keeps it fresh. This isn’t a bunch of models and posers. Real people trying to own their health through meaningful exercise.

This place is sort of like Cheers: they know you’re name and they give you a hard time (via great workouts) but it’s not so hard you can’t take it (aka injury!). β€œNorm! Do a Turkish Get-up!”

Andrew and Megan are the real deal, and they are great educators. I’ve learned a lot of really helpful ways to do things right and avoid injury’s, plus: who knew foam rolling was such an excellent way to stretch and recover!

I’ve loved feeling strong again and learned more about how to do these exercises in a way that helps, not hurts.

I've been a member of this gym for about 9 months. I cannot say enough good things about this gym. I have improved strength, lost weight, improved my mental heal and overall feel better. The coaches are very well educated and genuinely want every member to succeed in their goals. They push you hard, but are their to correct your form and keep you safe. If you have any kind of injury, acute or chroinc, they are able to work with you to modify the work out to keep you involved and not worsen your injury.

I've come to look forward to my workouts, which I never have before. I've also never been to a gym where there is such a supportive community. I've never been made to feel bad about myself or like I don't belong. In fact, I was welcomed. I've come to know my workout pals well and call them my friends.

One of my favorite things is there aren't any "open" time slots to come workout, you workout for 45 minutes at posted class times. This is a great idea because we're often working out with the owners, who are really there to see progress, not just take people's money.

Speaking of, the only thing that holds me back is the monthly fees. It costs enough that if you sign up, you will be working out, yet it's quite a bit higher than what I'm used to paying. Other than cost, this gym hits it out of the park and comes HIGHLY recommended!

I started at In Motion Fitness during the 30 day challenge earlier this month and couldn't be happier with my decision. The owners and instructors make it so easy to go to class everyday. I've learned new techniques and cant wait to continue on this healthy lifestyle journey at In Motion Fitness. In April, 2017, at the recommendation of friends, my husband and I began working out at In Motion Fitness. They offered us a free week just to try the gym out. I can honestly say that before the week was out, we were ready to join. The owners and trainers are genuinely interested in helping each member grow in their fitness journey where ever that journey may start. My journey was impacted by previous hip and back issues, but the trainers helped me make the necessary adjustments to avoid injury while gaining strength. Now in my mid-fifties, I feel stronger and less susceptible to injury than I did in my forties. One more highlight of our experience at In Motion is the community. Members become friends, cheering each other along and challenging each other. Joining In Motion has been a wonderful, worthwhile investment.

So I started a fitness challenge 2 weeks ago at In Motion Fitness and I haven't felt this great in a long time. I've been a very active person my whole life but in the last year or so I've really been slacking and putting my health on the back burner. But thanks to this amazing gym I am getting myself back into shape and getting stronger everyday. This place is awesome! The workouts will kick your butt, but trust me you'll feel amazing afterwards. Not only do you get a great workout in only 45 minutes, but all the instructors focus on form for all the lifts. Before each class, they take the time to properly demonstrate how to do the lifts and help you master that form so you do not injure yourself. You aren't just a number at this gym and they treat you like family here. Couldn't ask for a better gym to call my home.

I have been to a lot of different workout facilities looking for the right mix of a solid workout combined with the accountability of motivated and friendly people who care about form and proper movement. Most of the large gyms have people walking around looking for suckers who will pay for personal training, but ignore all those people who use lousy form or who use machines improperly.
That is NOT the case at In Motion. Here, everyone gets access to skilled professionals who correct movements, challenge individual limits and provide clear instructions for every one of the group exercises. Each person is challenged to excel at their own pace, but not pushed so hard that they risk injury.

I personally have had some pretty serious back issues and every day the trainers are helping me to modify the exercises to accommodate my back while challenging me to reach beyond my current state. Their goal is to make exercise a way of life and sustainable, not to get huge muscles (well, not only- although that could be a by-product if you stick with it long enough).

Perhaps the best part of this gym is the accountability to the other members for just showing up. It truly is a community of dedicated and friendly folks.

If you're looking for a great place to belong, a friendly bunch of faces to sweat with first thing in the morning or a killer workout, you can find them all in this one place.

In Motion Fitness is my happy place. After years of working out on my own I hit a plateau. These group classes have taken my fitness to a whole new level. The trainers are knowledgeable and attentive and make sure we're doing the movements safely and with proper form. I've always wanted to be the type of person who loved the gym, hit new PRs weekly, lose a bunch of weight, and who was actually strong. I tried homes videos, gym memberships, and long walks but nothing really made a difference. I generally eat healthy due to have celiac disease so that was never really my problem. But putting cliches to the side... In Motion Fitness (more importantly... the people at In Motion Fitness) changed my life. The intimate, personalized training (while working out with a bunch of fun people) wakes me up every morning! The gym is the highlight of my day! I can't wait to get there and push myself. I'm not kidding you... I literally drip sweat every workout but don't feel like the workouts are impossible. I challenge myself everyday and I have an entire cheer squad behind me! I even need someone to pull the reins on me every once in a while because my confidence has skyrocketed and I feel invincible! The personal trainers (Megan, Andrew, Penny, Dane, and Jermey) ALL know my strengths and weaknesses. In fact, they know me better than I know myself. This gym has become my family. There is a lot of smiles, sweat, and cheering going on here. And when I say family.... I truly mean it. It's a family affair. Megan and Andrew put up a ton of time and money to host a benefit for my mother-in-law who comes to the gym. She has ovarian cancer and in-between chemo sessions she's here every day! If that's not motivation and inspiration, I don't know what is! It's addicting and you cannot get enough! Come try our crazy fun, encouraging family out and I promise you won't be disappointed! I know my husband and I will never be leaving! We are here for the long haul!!!

It is just a fact that there is NO OTHER GYM in the metro like In Motion Fitness. There just isn't!! The variety of strength and conditioning exercises makes every workout unique. You'll find lots of muscles you've been neglecting that you didn't know you had!!!

This place will get you HOOKED! Great atmosphere and experienced trainers make each challenging workout a great way to hit your fitness goals. In Motion Fitness is a gem! It brings a unique approach in that it combines both group training and workouts that are smart and progressive. I've known both these owners for almost a year when I started my fitness journey. The trainers have a knack and passion for taking people where they are in their fitness(or just starting) and moving them forward. They pay careful attention to your form and core. They are able to create the workouts that are both challenging and enjoyable. I am in the best shape I've ever been. It's not about what I look like, but how I feel. I feel strong and I'm happy that I take time out of my day to make a positive choice in staying healthy. Starting this journey a year ago was hard and in the beginning I felt miserable, but I knew it would be worth it. The group fitness dynamic has people at all levels of fitness so you don't feel like you don't fit in.
