The staff here is so friendly. Especially the Kids Academy staff! My son loves Amy and is excited when she is there. But, he always loves going to play no matter who is there! He asks to go to the gym almost every night and is sad when I come to pick him up because the staff is fun and super interactive!

I’m rating this gym five stars because although it’s pricy, the environment and my experience has been worth it. The front desk staff is so helpful and welcoming and as someone who isn’t very social the little interactions of being recognized and being greeted in a familiar way means a lot to me. Same goes for the coaches, I only attend classes for the most part and I have to say that the coaches are amazing and in some experiences I would say magical. I have met some coaches with the most amazing energy that have left me feeling so connected and happy that its put a giddy smile on my face and leaves me in a bittersweet space of how much I appreciate them. They are so welcoming and supportive. I really enjoy the classes because of the guided workout which leave room to challenge yourself and modify if you need to.
I also highly rate the kids academy, the staff there is absolutely amazing and my daughter has gotten to be not only familiar and comfortable with the staff but excited to go there. Seeing her happy with the interactions between the staff and my daughter further supports the trust I have in them.
The gym may be big, but it’s gotten smaller to me in the sense that I am at the point where I’m familiar with staff and also other members that attend the classes. I feel welcomed and a sense of belonging being apart of the LifeTime community.

Used to love this gym but it’s gone downhill. The worst thing is the new shower doors, they have a 2 inch gap where you have no privacy and they are so short you can easily see over them. My husband and I no longer feel comfortable using them so we drive home to shower. Additionally equipment breaks often and remains unrepaired for months at a time, the sauna in particular. For the price this gym is simply not worth it anymore.

Overall a very nice gym. The smell of eucalyptus fills the air making it a relaxing environment from the moment you walk in. I love the slatted treadmills as they are much easier on the joints. The skillmill treadmills are self propelling and are perfect if you’re wanting to up your game working out.

Nice, clean gym. My biggest gripe is that they prioritize pickleball (not a sport or even a physical activity) on basketball courts even when no pickleball is scheduled for that particular court. Why have an app at all if you won’t let members know what is happening and when?

I have bad expiriance on kids camp, very disrespectful manager that she don't even have answer for the question we have. I feel like there is discrimination going on in this club from how they treat my son and how they communicate me as a parent. I want to tell my community to think twice before they register their kids in this club as I see there is a clear diffrence on people of color and terminate my child from the club with out enough reason and no incident report or paper works. He was being bullied and hurt by others and no one even cares to report what happen to him until I ask why and what happen and funny, they turn the story around and say my child has bad behavior while he got bruise and bumps on his head. Gives my son a bad emotion and bad expiriance for life.

At first, I loved it. As a disabled person on Medicare, I was told ( by corporate not ppl working at the location) I am 2nd class citizens, no longer welcome before 9 or alter 3. Arora classes are always overcrowded, full, inaccessible. Best Aqua teachers fired. I am very close to leaving. DON'T POST A AI RESPONSE. We are sorry thus says the computer

The staff has been awesome for decades! You guys hire great people over there. One concern that a lot of members still have are the reduced pandemic hours from 4 years ago. Is there any chance that Lifetime will ever go back to 24/7? If not, I’ll just get a second membership at a 24/7 club, but would rather just pay for 1 gym membership. Cheers!

My experience with Lifetime Fitness in Eagan has been consistently disappointing. As a loyal member for over 14 years, I've encountered inconsistent information and unfulfilled promises. When I addressed these issues with the manager, the response was dismissive, offering apologies without any resolution. After years of loyalty, the declining service and lack of accountability have made my membership lose its value. It's disheartening to see such a decline in what was once a reputable establishment.

I find myself making regular visits to Lifetime Fitness for a late-day workout, as well as unwinding in the steam room and indulging in the swimming pool. Yet, it's disheartening to admit that my recent experiences have been a series of disappointments.

Lately, it's been bugging me that they start cleaning the men's locker room at 10 pm, even though the gym doesn't close until midnight. So, when I'm done with my workout and want to take a quick shower, I'm hit with this overpowering chemical smell from all the cleaning stuff they're spraying. It's like they're rushing to tidy up, and it’s really suffocating while I'm trying to freshen up. I've also found the steam room inaccessible at times due to cleaning activities, even when the locker room remains occupied. At the other Lifetimes around here, they usually start cleaning the steam room and shower's just 15 minutes before closing, not a whopping 2 hours!

In addition, the basketball court, once a space I enjoyed for casual shooting, has been unavailable due to what I understand to be concerns about disruptive behavior and security. Although I appreciate the need to maintain a safe environment, the continued closure of this area seems extended. This situation restricts paying members from enjoying the full spectrum of amenities they expect. Additionally, the condition of the basketballs has caught my attention; they often appear underinflated and lacking proper care.

I hope my feedback can contribute to the improvement of the Lifetime Fitness experience in Eagan, MN. It would be beneficial for the management to assess these aspects and ensure that the offerings and services align more effectively with the expectations of their valued members.

Use to be a member through my mom's job at the daycare center back in the early 2000's. Don't remember much other than I used to play computer games, watch tv, play in the maze and other fun things while she worked. Remember taking a few classes on and off when I got a little older. I attended Ashtanga yoga today and it was the best yoga class I've ever taken! The Eagan club is immaculate, the instructor was great and the food in the Cafe was amazing. Once again, Lifetime has proven to me why they are the best in the industry. 🙂

I’ve been a part of lifetime for a very long time since 2011. since then I’ve noticed a decrease in the quality of the group classes. It’s a hit or miss depending on who your instructor is. But overall lifetime has been a wonderful place to socialize and enjoy working out with family and friends.

I love this place! It’s my favorite place. Daryl is always so nice, pleasant, and hardworking. I feel very sorry for the workers are trying to keep the women lockers cleaned as all times. There are some people aren’t cleaning up after themselves. I can’t believe how messy some people are. The front desks always so nice and cheerful. I’m going to move out of state this fall after 47 years for being Minnesotan. For sure I will miss the wonderful people and will miss this lifetime for sure.

Update 2022: since the pandemic, the gym has stopped being a 24/7 hour gym. They have also raised the pricing twice. I’ve been disappointed by both factors and updating my star rating.

Update 2019. the gym has expanded and added equipment and restrooms. A designated Alpha space has also been added. I now can say the negatives have been addressed and it’s a great gym to go to.

It’s so so. This gym could use friendly competition. There is obviously a high demand for a gym in this area judging by the high number of gym goers here. I have to go at odd hours if I want to use most of the standard resistance training equipment. For instance, they only have 5 squat racks. There does seem to be more than enough cardio equipment though.

Team alpha classes overlap with general gym space and usually occur at peak hours. You will just not be using about half the equipment during alpha classes. Also those classes are very expensive but always a lot of people signed up. I won’t lie, those classes are obnoxious. Life time would rather use the term “energetic” I’m sure.

Couple of improvements needed: No bathrooms on gym floor. Fix mold throughout shower ceilings.

On a positive note, the staff seem energetic and friendly.

Since last summer there have been rumors from staff about expansion, though no concrete news about it. Not sure if it’s true or just high hopes.

Again, a lot would change for the better if we had another big gym close by.

As someone who has been a Lifetime member for over 5 years, and then enlisting my young family in the gym. I have now recommended at least 20 members who have signed up to White Bear Lake, Lakeville Lifetime and Lifetime savage.

This is because I have truly enjoyed the fantastic facilities on offer and especially pay tribute to the staff members that are always at the ready in providing assistance and in the most jovial manner.

I am however quite disappointed that as the restrictions have been lifted, the service hours are still the same. The flexibility that we got as members via the schedules before was a key reason that I and others enjoyed the gym so much, with work constraints and a busy schedule, the longer opening times allowed us to work out and stay healthy.

When restrictions were put in place we supported the gym and ensured to keep our membership to support the gym and staff, even sending petition emails to the governor.

I have raised this timing matter multiple times but no action has been taken, Lifetime can and should be better.

We would greatly appreciate going back to the pre pandemic timings.

I use the gym for the pool and cardio in the winter. Lifetime fits my needs. The Eagan location has an annoying locker system and conditioner (women's room). The Lakeville location has a great locker system but only shampoo.

The gym layout is okay, actually one of the better ones. I like the co-Ed dry Sauna and large co-Ed hot tubs. However, the locker rooms are clearly designed by a man. Just the horrible layout and placement of the sinks/toilet/showers adds about a half hour to my day. It is actually really annoying. Not quite as bad as the one at Target Center but just about.

The women’s shower floors are always disgusting!!! I’ve been going here for three weeks and I’m sure the women’s showers haven’t been cleaned once. You know when you see the same things on the floor for over a week that it’s at least been awhile! Just got here as they opened today and the floors in the main area were clearly not cleaned the night before either. Everyone gets grace for “Covid” staffing issues but it’s pretty bad sometimes. Other guests might not notice but when you pay this much for a membership I think it ought to be extremely clean.

I've been going to this gym for a while now and I must say that compared to all the other gyms that I've been too, this one by far has impressed me the most.

With that being said, the most important thing for me in a gym is the accessibility to all the equipment that I need, and this one has manged to offer me that with its vast options in equipment's that are spread out throughout the facility.

I love Lifetime! The key to consistency is finding the type of workout that you love and Lifetime offers so many options you should be able to find something that floats your boat and keeps you going. The Alpha trainers are exceptional! The gym is kept clean so I don't have worries about Covid and I have been working out anytime the doors have been open during Covid. Working out keeps you healthy. Lastly, for those of us that have been sticking it out this past year, LT has been very generous with monthly dues and extra benfits, so Thank you LT!

As a member I go to this club occasionally as it is not near my home. It is great that I can visit various locations throughout the Twin Cities. This club is clean and usually not very crowded during the day. Lots of equipment and floor space for doing your own workout. Lots of free classes as well.

I'm not sure why this isn't a 4+ star review. I joined a year and a half ago and the staff have always been friendly and accomodating, the machines always clean and working, the locker mostly clean. Not long before I joined there was a multi-million dollar renovation, I can only assume that the negative reviews are from before that time because I've had excellent service here.

100% would recommend this gym. I take yoga classes, use the pool, the hot tub, the steam room and sauna sans covid, treadmills, stair steppers, rowers, and all the resistance training side of the gym. You get a lot for your money, no tennis courts though unfortunately, and no track if you'd prefer a track to run on.
