What happened to this place? Itβs sad. EP LT used to be a wonderful place to workout and unwind. Not at all the same these days! Vibe is all off! Itβs just old, unkept and has no more charm.

Whatβs the point of paying for a gym membership if I canβt use basic equipment when itβs convenient? You canβt get near the squat racks after workβtheyβre always packed. So I tried adjusting my schedule to go around 8 AM.
After waiting for a class to finish (already frustrated that they were using almost every squat rack and piece of equipment), I realized they barely touch the racks for more than 10% of the workout. Even then, I still couldnβt lift because another class was scheduled to use them soon after. The two remaining racks were taken, and when one finally opened up, someone else grabbed it immediately.
You really need to implement a better systemβeither limit how much class participants monopolize the equipment or introduce a fair line system. Itβs ridiculous to pay for a membership and never be able to use the equipment I joined for.

Management and cleanliness of the cafe is awful β itβs gone so far downhill. I waited over 45 minutes for avocado toast, and when I asked about it, the manager was super rude and standoffish. I understand how food service is stressful but I donβt understand why I got the response that I did when the restaurant was emptyβ¦. For how much the membership costs, this kind of service and environment is totally unacceptable. Definitely wouldnβt recommend dining here if youβre looking for a friendly, welcoming experience .

Love the place great people everywhere. Love playing basketball but with only 2 useable adult basketballs Iβm thinking about buying my own at this point. Chanhassen has about 20 useable basketballs and are supposedly equal level? Dissatisfied for $240 a month

If you thought the words, "A good place to eat rich," was double-entendre for violence, then you know how poorly people are treated here. Without, "the," it's simply a critique on pricing.

Love the cleanliness but the last two months or so whoever is running the bar is dropping the ball. Several wines out of stock, the shelves look bare from what I'm used to seeing over the last few years. Hearing the bartenders have to offer substitutes discreetly because they're out of what the other regulars want, if LTF is going for a country club vibe they're failing at this location. Whoever is managing this bar/restaurant is really disappointing all of us. Put my membership on hold, later.

I saw a minor in care of the facility sent unsupervised into the Men's Locker Room. Be mindful, many of the older men are on prescribed testosterone, a small number of the middle-aged men look like they honestly juice, and most of the younger men use some form or pre-workout, SARM, or E.D supplement. It makes for a specific environment I wouldn't want a child exposed to, besides the fact some of the men have very adult habits. This why you often find the very young or partially disabled working in the direct positions.(I'm already literally and figuratively sensitive to this issue, I used to cycle testosterone supplements in lieu of anabolics and my wifes' rhythm will throw me for a loop every now and again) Don't let your daughters work here; a member of management admitted that young women wrapped in only microns of fabric is a selling point for the club. Also, I felt one of the clinic staff were preying on insecurities so she could have a fresh walking advertisement to a new set.

I've been a Life Time member (on and off) for about 20 years. At this season of life (family of 7), Life Time is one of the core parts of our family life.
The leadership and staff at this location is friendly, professional, and very hard working. They strive to provide a VIP type of experience for guests, and it shows.
Over the past 9 months, my wife and I discovered their Alpha group fitness classes -- these have been a revelation to us! We are hooked on attending these classes. These classes are a bit like Cross Fit, but a bit more approachable (by that I mean, slightly less technical in nature than some Cross Fit workouts tend to be). The trainers that lead these classes are excellent.
We also enjoy having access to indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, pickleball, and locker rooms with sauna and steam room.
The child care provided at this specific location has been exceptional over the years. Our children are in good hands here. One aspect I appreciate is that children are not allowed to bring in their own devices to the child center. Our children are encouraged to read books (or listen to books read aloud by Life Time team members), do crafts, or even participate in their own fitness classes.

Iβve been a Lifetime member across the Twin Cities for the last 15 years. The Eden Prarie club has been the first to feel like home. I drive 15 miles to come here and itβs worth every minute. Itβs not the newest or the flashiest, but the vibe is wonderful. Mike, the GM, has developed a culture thatβs welcoming and best in class. The facilities are sparkling clean and the amenities are Country clubesque. Check it out for yourself- youβll never want to leave!

Why are the trainers and corporate staff that GET PAID TO BE THERE, taking up cafe spots from the people that PAY TO BE THERE?!?! Is this a health club or a corporate office for the trainers? Every time I go here there are 1-5 trainers taking up cafe spots to hold internal meetings with other trainers or participate in virtual calls with other lifetime staff. Dont even get me started on the middle aged woman that listens to meetings full volume, no headphones, loud talker, like get an office or work from home!!!!!!

I freaking love this Lifetime Fitness. This location is exactly how a Lifetime Fitness should hold it's standards to. The staff is incredibly friendly, know your name by heart, and will personally walk you to the location if you ask where something is. It's always clean and my favorite thing is how less packed they are than other LT's. They do a good job keeping the club clean and the personal trainers there are top notch. There's a reason why members who move away still find their way back to this location.

Tennis courts are absolutely amazing, if you're looking to play indoor tennis this is the place. Weight room is good, never really super busy but some of the other lifetimes have a better selection for weights and machines. But there's not many other lifetimes you can go to that have a full bar and a restaurant... It reminds me a bit more of a country club Friday evening.

A few years ago I went to this gym to see if I wanted to increase my membership level. The way I was treated by staff will forever leave me scarred, as is likely evident by how much of a bother it is, now years later. I was followed around as if I was not trusted and not welcomed. Two staff members even followed me at a distance out to my vehicle as I left. All of this presumably was because I don't drive a Mercedes and wasn't wearing Oakley gear to work out. The harassment and mistreatment I experienced from the employees of this establishment are thus that I will never visit one from this company again.

I am a current member at this club and enjoy working out here as well as using the facilities. However, the Cafe is quite subpar. I just ordered a burger, waited 35 minutes, and then received a burger that was not cooked near to how I requested, and with every single fixing I asked to be removed from it. I also did not receive the drink I ordered even when the cashier told me she would go get it right away. When the same waitress walked by my table without my food I said, βExcuse me?β and was entirely ignored. Entirely. This entire experience was absolutely terrible and I may never eat at the Cafe here again because of this terrible service. To add insult to injury, the waitress was rude when placing my food on my table. I am annoyed and disappointed in the LifeCafe.

Not a typical Lifetime. Usually most Lifetimes are consistent in quality from coast to coast but I was surprised at this club. After visiting a few other Onyx level gyms(lower tier) in the area that are fantastic, I thought for sure this was going to be amazing. But I was wrong.
As someone else mentioned, this is more county club then gym. With mostly retirees it seems as its clientele. Here are my issues. The gym is tiny compared to other lifetimes. The locker room is small. Limited equipment and it feels like you are working out on top of other people. Cant even imagine this place on a Monday. I ended up just leaving in the middle of my normal routine I was so annoyed.
The lifecafe is also tiny but for some reason they have a whole sushi and steak restaurant. As well as full bar. It is like they forgot this is a gym. I think that is nice but not when it seems like they sacrificed the workout area.
The staff was cordial and there is also indoor tennis courts if your into that.
Can't fathom paying diamond level prices if this was my full time gym but apparently people do.
If you are serious about a complete workout, I would suggest another location.

Expensive. But I really like it. It's more of a country club than a gym. I notice many patrons who are retired or with their families. The fitness class offerings are a little light in the evenings, but I find that I get what I need! I considered joining CorePower, but that was really expensive with no variety. I find similar rigor in the Warrior Sculpt yoga classes (and some overlap of instructors). Used to work out at LA, and loved it, but the options near my house weren't great when I moved. For me, location was key! Can't sit in traffic on your way to the gym. Now, I ride my bike!

Such a poor customer service! Moved out to a different state for new adventure, where Lifetime is not in the business and yet they charged me a month fees for freckling 30 day notice period. Tried to explain that's not my mistake going to a place where lifetime is not establish but the manager was so rude at me asking to sign the documents and move out. I was 200 miles away from any LT fitness center, to cancel my subscription, they mandated me to visit any of this locations, I had to drive down just to sign couple papers. Never again to lifetime fitness center. Such a shame on their part!

I visit Life Time in Eden Prairie every morning and various evenings each week. The staff greets you each day and everyone is very friendly. The locker rooms are clean, have nice products to use when getting ready and the lockers are rarely busy. The workout space is clean, well maintained and has nice bright windows letting in a lot of natural light. The pool is great and the dining options are fantastic. The instructors of each class are absolutely amazing - they get to know you by name if you talk to them after or before class, they give you a challenging workout and one of my personal favorite classes (Yoga Sculpt) has lavender infused towels passed out while you're relaxing at the end of class....SUCH a treat after a tough workout. Another great thing about this facility is the location. Within steps outside the club's front door are running paths and trails that have great views of Purgatory Creek and connects to Staring Lake as well. Compared to other fitness gyms and other Life Time locations I have belonged to in the past, Eden Prairie Life Time feels like such a retreat each day I visit! It's a classy place with everything you need and more to enjoy a full workout and relaxation experience.

This is expensive health club, membership fee per person is about $150/month, I have seen even bigger health clubs than this one in other states that which charge about $100/month...but like some one said it keeps idiots away, good for people who can afford it. Work out area for weights is very small and compact, they gave more importance to tennis courts and basket ball courts which occupy most space of the club, since I did not use any of those facilities (basket ball, tennis etc) and workout space being compact I ended up cancelling my membership telling them some other reason. If your goal is just to work out weights, this health club is not right for you. On one occasion while I was working out on a equipment, club trainer asked me to vacate the spot so that he can train a member using the same equipment, I have seen this happening to other members too...life time should stock enough machines for workout so that members paying $$$$$$'s should be treated nicely. I would not recommend this health club to friends.

THIS MAY HELP ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS: Service is decent, but I have my suspicions about the "lost valuables" policy. Many times my family has lost phones, sunglasses, jackets, and other items all over the building, I find it bizarre that they "disappear" so often. The managers will always give you the same explanation, if they find it, they will supposedly call your phone number. They have never done so with any of our valuables as of yet. Our family has lost an Under-Armour jacket and a Samsung Galaxy CP in the PAST WEEK. Please try to explain this lifetime, I do not want to start blaming employees.

I really like the steam room as well, its clean, and they use mint which helps clear out your sinuses. I've also had my haircut, they did a great job, I plan on going here from now on for that. My wife and I use the child care center for our toddler while we workout, he really enjoys playing there with the other children. The staff are great with kids. The price is high, but it keeps the idiots out. You never see stupid people fighting and arguing in the basketball court. Or wierd people in the locker room doing shady stuff. Thats what you're paying for.

This is the best, nicest, most complete facility I have ever been to. The staff are very well chosen and trained (RitzCarlton-like!) and the services offered are myriad and comprehensive. An evolved food program and great Happy Hour makes the restaurant and bar a lot of fun. A great steam room helps me get through the Winter. The magazine accompanying the membership is also (IMHO) the best information available on wellness containing cutting-edge content. If you want to get fit, well and healthy - it's all here for you. Bahram (founder) and team have built something really special and they share the success with the community through their foundation. Well Done!

Few things could be a bit nicer however the instructors are generally good and they have a nice variety of classes at different times. I have found most of the staff to nice and helpful.
My biggest peeve is using the facilities for "extra" activities they charge for. Example: kids birthday parties taking up the basketball courts.

One of the premier Lifetime clubs. much more than a gym so expect Eden Prairie prices. Not used this location before. Normally would go to the Lakeville location if I wanted a day at the club and an outdoor pool.
