After 4 years of pumping iron in my basement as a teenager this gym opened up. So in 1983, at the age of 17, I got my 1st ever workout in an actual gym right here and it was an eye opening experience as well as a great pump! In the early 90's I had a membership here. So after more than 30 years I came back and did a workout as I now live out of state. The gym is VERY hardcore, the equipment is great and my pump was great! It is a gym for those who are serious about getting fit! It was great to come back here for a workout!

I have been coming to this gym for several years now. I absolutely love it. All the people are incredibly kind, everyone is serious about training, and the equipment it amazing. This gym harbors a sense of community. The trainers are knowledgeable and great to work with. With that all said, that is not the reason I am writing this review. I am writing this review because I want to explain the impeccable customer service this gym offers. I had an extremely uncomfortable interaction with another member who gestured a profanity at me. The interaction was uncalled for and unnecessary. However, the main takeaway is I felt uncomfortable and the employees showed me compassion and genuinely cared about the issue at hand. I was treated kindly and with respect. Often women are made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe within a gym setting, however, in that moment I felt seen and heard. The employees took my complaint as a serious matter and they resolved the issue for me so I could freely continue my workout in peace. Thank you for the amazing service at Los Campeones Franklin. I highly recommend this gym. @Benjamin Loehrer give these amazing employees a raise ASAP they deserve it.

Lots of equipment and large facility. Only 3 stars since they insist on playing loud, bass heavy music in all the rooms. They could just turn down the volume or the bass down so you can at least listen to something on your own.
Edit: the musics grown on me. Also they are pretty forgiving for when i missed payment a few times after getting robbed.

Came into town for a work thing and needed a gym and thankfully found this place. Honestly one of the best gyms Iβve ever been anywhere. Very old school body building feel, which I loved.
If you canβt find what you need for a particular workout here then you probably donβt belong in a gym. They have EVERYTHING.

Iβve been going to Los for many years but the attitudes have changed over the past year. Prices have gone up and we can no longer bring a guest nor go to multiple locations. The phones donβt get answered and when they do Iβm told βthatβs just the way it isβ, no Iβm sorry or I can connect you with a manager, just rude. Today the air quality has been denoted unhealthy due to the fires. NE always has their big windows open so I was wondering if I could go to the Franklin location but was told no unless I want to pay more. A member should be granted the access of at least not having to breathe in carcinogens while working out.

I have managed a gym and have been to many gyms. This gym has an old school body builder feel to it. It has anything that you would want in the way of equipment, if you can think about it, they probably have it. I would say that this gym had more leg equipment than any other gym Iβve ever been to.
Maybe Iβve been living under a rock, but I didnβt know some of this equipment existed at all.
Music is quite loud, bring headphones with noise cancelling in my opinion.

My 24-year-old healthy son joined this gym in msp on 9/4/23. He signed up to work with a "certified personal trainer" CPT. After 3 workouts within 1 week with the trainer my son was admitted into the ER on 9/9/23 with Rhabdomyolysis! My son had a 4 day inpatient Hospital stay on IV therapy to save his kidneys due to Rhabdomyolysis! I called the gym and I spoke with trainer and requested a copy of the regimen done with my son try to figure out how this happened and I requested a copy of his CPT certificate. Instead of the trainer providing me with a copy of the information I requested, he told me to contact his attorney! The gym CEO has this trainer listed on his website as a CPT. So I contacted CEO to get a copy of the trainer's certificate. I feel that it is only reasonable & responsible that if you have a trainer listed on your website as a CPT you should have a copy of the certificate available. Neither the trainer or CEO has provided this information. They have not accepted any responsibility or shown any sympathy for what happened to my son! I have excellent health insurance so money is not the issue. The issue is accepting responsibility for what happened to my son at that gym working with a "CPT". The trainer should be responsible for having a written regimen of the routines that are done with clients and they should be able to show proof of their certificates and credentials as trainers.

I absolutely loved working out at Los Campeones but had a very dishonest / bad business experience.
I paid a year in advance in good faith some months ago, and unfortunately had another job opportunity pop up in a different city.
The owner told me I would not be receiving back the ~9 months of remaining membership I had prepaid, meaning they kept ~$500 for no service.

Phenomenal gym chain around the TC for every type of gym-goer. There is a wide array of machines for bodybuilding, plenty of different types of bars. Olympic weightlifting plates and bars. A room to keep personal bars. An athletic area for sled pulls/sprints. And on top of all of that, a back room with powerlifting and strongman equipment. This gym is loaded with everything to support your gym journey. On top of all that, the atmosphere is great. Lastly, as LGBTQ, I feel safe and accepted for who I am. Los Campeones is an awesome place that I couldn't recommend more.

I don't write reviews - bad or good. But this place is amazing. I was in the Twin Cities for the summer and would seriously move back for Los alone. This place - the Franklin location in particular - has everything in terms of fitness and lifting equipment. But more importantly, the culture was everything. ANYONE can come workout here: hardcore bodybuilders to working parents to older citizens. In fact, I was most impressed by the women's groups who showed up at 5AM to be together and the older couples who would come together to stay fit. More importantly, everyone respected anyone who showed up to work and get better. This is a great and - at this moment in time - needed reminder of what solid and supportive community looks like.

Los Campeones is a gym rat's dream, and also a welcome space for those who are new to fitness. They've got the usual aerobic space, a turf room, a couple lift rooms, an outdoor space, and more. They sell all kinds of supplements in case you need a boost before a workout or recovery afterward.

Used to be a great gym, staff is awesome and gym is great. Unfortunately the management is trash. They didn't get permits to have an outdoor space (which is the only reason I started going there) and they shut down the outdoor space completely. Whoever the lady owner is, is extremely unprofessional. Stated I "harassed" an employee when I said I would rather cancel my membership then wear a mask (no one was wearing a mask properly anyway lol). Posted about it on my Instagram and she slid into my DMs calling me all sorts of names and a liar. Oh well, they are missing out of $600 a year. Go woke, go broke.

I'm not a body builder. Not a Power Lifter. Standard guy just looking to workout from time to time. This is a gym that doesn't have "spa like" amenities. However, the gym is a true, legit gym. Can do all the core functional exercise. I see the money go back into the gym in the form of new equipment or improvements. The people that go to the gym are friendly. Hope you find the same experience if you give it a go!

(Edit: 5 - 2 β,
Ever since gyms have started reopening I have become very disappointed in Los. While they post signage insisting safe practices and masks are required, I have yet to see this enforced, even their trainers are walking around without masks on unless they're specifically with clients. The only reason I didn't downgrade to 1 star is that at least the employees appear to be following the mandate. I definitely wouldn't go in here without wearing a mask because 95% of the other people won't be.)
Easily my favorite gym in the area. I been going here for a year both for my everyday workouts and personal training with King Phong. If you want a gym that feels like a REAL gym this is the place for you. Also has an awesome outdoor turf area that's really fun to do deadlifts/squats in.
