My name is Maximus and I'm a long time MMA practitioner. I Lived with Rick in Minneapolis for a short while and I bought some heavy and speed bags for his basement.. I was working out every night..(on only my hand speed and power; because Rick wouldn't let me lift my legs to show off my martial arts skills anymore🤨 but it definitely taught me things about my stance and throwing power hands that my game was missing. My fiancé has been going here for almost 2-3 years now and he loves it. He has been amateur boxing and working his way up to be pro. 🤞🏻 The people here are great and friendly. My son has be going to Lykes gym for various reason since they moved to the new location. The coaches and trainers there have been wonderful from the youth level up to the adults. After training for a while my son even won his first boxing match. Lykes also has a excellent wrestling program. Some of the best youth wrestlers in the state train there. We are looking forward to the future programs. Always a good time when we are there. Tony G is the best! Great atmosphere, professional and friendly. I've been training from this gym for almost 7 years. Its moved 3 locations, but the heart and grit is always there. The facility is clean and well kept. Has the essential weightlifting, wrestling mats and a boxing area. Everyone heres really welcoming and helping.

This gym is amazing!!! I have been coming here off and on since I was a kid, and has changed my life for the better and kept me out of trouble when I was going!!! Great place to box at. Coach Anthony Grygelko is amazing at what he does, first training session with him and now I can finally jab correctly. Jimmy is also a very skilled trainer/fighter himself. Always motivates every single person in the room, and knows what he’s doing durning training sessions. To me it’s the people that make the gym. Not the gym itself, it could be a small shack with just a ring and I’ll still pay to be here with these amazing people.

There’s also wrestling classes available if you are interested in that, great weight room with most equipments for you to do your reps.

Bathroom facilities are clean and shiny with showers in them which is a game changer!

With that said, you will not be disappointed coming here. This will be my home from now on hope to see you guys there as well!

I cannot say enough great things about Lyke’s gym! Both our sons wrestling at the gym throughout the entire year and it has been absolutely awesome! Tony and his staff are always so kind, welcoming and more importantly encouraging to youth athletes. The gym is clean, has what we need for both our boys and us!! By us - I mean the Cryo Therapy! I am new to it and have really been seeing the benefits of it. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it helps with my inflammation along with body aches. I’m hoping to to incorporate this therapy on a regular basis!

I saw Lykes boxing gym o e day and asked my son if he wanted to learn how to box, and he got really excited, but scared at the time seeing my son is 9 and has never been physically challenged, so we went by and talked to some of the coaches and they were all very nice, so when we signed up Tony was the coach we talked to and he's a very knowledgeable coach my son has been to a total of 5 practices and I as well as Tony can see a world of difference, he is really good with the kids and very easy to work with as a parent, so if your debating weather your son or daughter wants to learn the fundamentals and train to box come to Lykes boxing gym they will take good care of you, like family!

Gym is open 24/7. You receive a barcode, which gives you access to the gym. You can come in any time of the day to get your workout in, especially if you’re busy with outside work. I like the fact that I can come in, work on the bag and they even have a weight room as soon as you walk inside. So if you want, you can pump some iron or head to the heart of the gym, where most guys are at. The boxing room. You got your standards needs for a boxing gym like mirror, heavy bags, speed bag, and you bet a boxing ring. Lots of equipment like head gears and boxing gloves, you can use if you don’t have any. No matter what level you’re at, but to me what makes the gym amazing, are the people. Coaches are awesome, even the guys who compete, are kind and respectful, who pushes you and are motivating. Overall every person I’d meet there are just kind people in general. It’s like a family over there. No matter who you are, they don’t judge.

We started going to Lyke’s with our son’s wrestling club, I have to say we could not be happier!! This is a top notch facility! We are so blessed to have such an amazing facility in our community. Excellent equipment and even better coaches and instructors. Everyone is so great to work with, it has been really fun watching the kids develop. I am in this gym multiple times a week as a parent spectator and have the opportunity to observe the atmosphere, relationships, skills and overall family-like love and encouragement that is poured into everyone (parents included). I love the diversity and core values. Everyone treats each other as an equal...even the Pro Boxers. Everyone helps, encourages and supports each other to be the best version of themselves.
