We've been with Marical Martial Arts and their Tiny Gorilla program for almost a year and its been so good! It's amazing to see the skills our littles have developed and we love the emphasis on leadership and personal development. Mr. Meyer has been so patient yet holds our littles accountable. Highly recommend if you want physical skills and life skills!

My son has absolutely thrived at this karate studio. CJ is truly amazing with the kids—he creates such a fun, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere, and it’s clear how much he cares. The other instructors and students are just as great. There’s a real sense of community here—kids cheer each other on and genuinely want one another to succeed.

The confidence and growth I’ve seen in my son since starting here is incredible. He’s not only learning karate, but also building friendships, responsibility, and self-esteem. We’re so grateful for this studio and everything it’s done for him!

I joined Taekwondo back in May 2021—before it was even called Maricle Martial Arts. Back then, it was known as A.I.T.S., and Mr. Bird was still with us before he sadly passed away from cancer. In those early days, I was fortunate to be guided by incredible instructors like Mr. Bird, Mr. Clark, Mr. Maricle, Mrs. Bird, and many others. They played a huge role in shaping who I was, especially during my first couple of years.

For me, Taekwondo wasn’t just a sport—it was the first real step I ever took toward self-improvement. It sparked a drive in me to be better than I was a week ago, even a day ago. Through martial arts, I discovered things that completely changed my life: working out, meditation, gratitude journaling, and even a renewed faith in God. It helped me rebuild the confidence I lost during a tough time in 2020 when my mental health hit a low point.

Thanks to this journey, I’ve developed discipline, leadership, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and an indomitable spirit. Even when I suffered serious injuries like a torn ACL and meniscus, Mr. Maricle never gave up on me. I earned my green belt before surgery and came back stronger, continuing to push myself and grow.

I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today without Mr. Maricle’s support. He’s not just an excellent teacher—he’s a great person who genuinely cares. The same goes for all the instructors at Maricle Martial Arts. They’re skilled, passionate, and committed to helping students succeed.

Whether you’re thinking of joining yourself or enrolling your child, know this: Maricle Martial Arts is a place where you or your child will become better than you ever thought possible. It’s not just martial arts—it’s a path to becoming your best self.

We have been a part of Maricle Martial Arts for about 6 months and our boys are loving it! We went from not knowing a single thing, to underbelt testing and now they’re both yellow belts working towards testing for orange. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and very patient. The supportive culture is so good. The kids are always cheering each other on and keeping one another accountable. What taekwondo teaches: discipline, self-control, perseverance, and indomitable spirit- are great self-esteem boosters and coping mechanisms for kids as well! Highly recommend this business for kids of all ages!
