I signed my daughter up for boxing classes last fall. the first time I seen Mexifino was on Instagram, the videos of the kids in boxing and I knew it was the place for my daughter to be from day one coach Jesse has been amazing. He helped my daughter with more than just boxing but her health too. We consider Coach Jesse and his family as a family to us. if you have kids, I definitely would recommend Mexifino boxing classes. They are the best and are just the sweetest people ever

At first I thought it was cool & chill vibe
But upon attended a “free class” I decided it wasn’t a good fit for me. I’d like to start off by saying the owner/ only and main head coach was late by like 15 minutes. Class was started by one of his fighters / someone who trains there. The drills he was teaching or having us do were fine not many complaints there, it was more or so him as a person after the fact & about how the gym was set up.
No jump ropes, no speed bag, no double end bag? It felt like a half put together location
It could be me and my personal take but I didn’t like how the heavy bags were all bunched up next to eachother some people don’t have as much space to move vs others ( middle bags suck to hit cause you can’t really move without being in the way of the other bags and people hitting those) second what I meant by my issue with the main guy / owner Jesse besides being late, he was very persistent to have my buddy & I to sign up that to avoid “ registration fees” I think the total cost was 100-150 not sure can’t recall anyways me being serious I let him persuade me to “ putting a down payment on my membership” gave him 50$ and then when I realized it wasn’t a good fit for me I asked if I could get the money back or maybe some merch / used boxing gloves waited/ wasted 3-4 weeks playing hollow with him and I just decided it wasn’t worth being strung along for nothing. I guess he needed it more with opening a new gym, having a new kid, remodeling some home stuff. But I told him don’t sweat it and it’s all good. Mn folks just are built different. I just had to share my experience here not biased I’m sure he’s had some friends or family try to boast up his page but here’s a raw and real review. I wish him and everyone the best believe I’m not bitter we all shall prosper.
After I made this review Jesse tores then proceed to spam me via Instagram in a super unprofessional matter harassing me and trying to threat/instigate issues. I have the proof as well very foul type of person wouldn’t want my kids or friends/ family around this type of man! Couldn’t take an honest view.

Free session was great, jesse the owner is a good coach and very knowledgeable when it comes to boxing, the gym is compact I can see that it’s still a growing and will for sure be bigger in the future I appreciate everything he has taught me I learned a lot more then I already know in a 1 day session he does seem to be strung out on coaching his competition boxers since he is limited on coaches. I went with a buddy of mine and this makes up the reason for 2 star my buddy recently left a review about how he paid a small $50 to avoid a fee for signing up late and later decided not to peruse going to mexifino gym and would like a refund with was talked about by both parties (more info on review) and the response to that review from Jesse on google was worded properly BUT it’s what the owner sent to my buddy on Instagram privately that left a really sour taste to me as someone who deals with people everyday it’s not appropriate to act out in such a aggressive nature especially to a potential customer/athlete.

Horrible customer service the owner had a minor dispute with a potential customer and when a review was he left took it into his own hands to harass said customer from his business account on instagram strongly recommend looking for boxing training somewhere else

Great boxing gym coming from a beginner with no prior experience, Jesse is a great coach that has group classes and personal sessions that will try to accommodate people schedule, if your looking to get a good workout and test your endurance this is the place to gooo!!
